It all started with my Refrigerator that was leaking underneath. I called Homeserve and right away…read moreJames came out and told me to clean the refrigerator out, (protect all the food) and once I did that, give them a call and the next day Steve was out to Steam Clean the freezer - fixed the problem. Awesome. At the same time my double oven door on the bottom needed fixing and he said they would order the springs for the door as apparently a small adult stood on it and broke it (Door is rated to hold 140 lbs) so, must have been a person trying to get something on the upper shelf above the oven. Great. They had to special order the springs but can only get them from the OEM and since the oven was a 2007 model, the springs could not be purchased, however they came out once I found some on ebay and gave me a good and fair price. Fixed! Great! Then I had them fix a leaking washing machine (btw, do tell them before they come out that the washing machine is stacked if you have one of those models. They require 2 people to lift the dryer off the top and look at the back of the WM. He quickly found the problem and fixed it! - The End! A tip, purchase appliances without all the new bells and whistles and get the basics you need like a steady ice maker and water dispenser. I don't need a refrigerator with more things that can break. Awesome Company! Scott and everyone are very professional and considerate. They are a matter of fact company and sometimes the answer is not what you want to hear if your appliance is old. They get the job done, or tell you the hard truth that you might need a new appliance. They also show up right on time so be ready for them. Thank you for reading my review.

In summary, they incorrectly identified the wrong part twice on 2 separate troubleshooting visits,…read morewhich caused a 2 month delay in repair, when we could've just gotten a warranty replacement and been done with it. Moreover, whenever they had bad news to deliver (like when they discovered they had identified the wrong part as being the source of the problem, after waiting 5 weeks to deliver), they wouldn't call me, their customer, to let me know or even my property manager. I would have to track them down to get a status. Additionally , they don't take electronic payments and only take paper checks, in 2026. On 5 June 2026, I contacted Whirlpool warranty department reporting that the Whirlpool fridge in our rental property wasn't cooling. Whirlpool scheduled a troubleshooting/service appointment with Carolina Applicance, LLC, their vendor/contractor, to be done on 8 June 2026. On 8 June 2026, Carolina Appliance, LLC troubleshot our fridge and incorrectly identified a failed compressor as the source of the problem. We authorized them to order a new compressor. Carolina Appliance repair never gave us an EDA for the compressor, saying that the vendor can't provide it. So, we never knew whether we should buy a new fridge or wait. It took over a month for the new compressor to arrive, at which time I received a call they were ready to install the new compressor. I put them in touch with our property manager to coordinate the repair. They never called me back to let me know the new compressor was installed. I eventually inquired with them through the property manager and when prompted, Carolina Appliance reported on that a "senior technician" went out to troubleshoot the fridge a second time to discover that the compressor wasn't the problem after all and that it was a bad heater, which they'd gone ahead and ordered. They never stated what prompted the second troubleshooting visit from the "senior technician," but I assume they did so when they discovered that the compressor replacement didn't fix it. So, they had me write them a paper check for the repair of the heater, as they don't take electronic payments, before they would actually install the heater. They did come to my house to pick up the check. So, I guess that's a plus. However, apparently the senior technician also incorrectly identified the heater as the source of the problem and as was the case with the compressor, they never called me back to let me know that the heater had been installed and had apparently failed. So, on 27 July 2026, I AGAIN, had to inquire with them through our property manager, who was informed that the heater didn't fix it either and that there's a leak that can't be repaired and that we need to replace the fridge. The only plus side in all of of this is that Carolina Appliance did process the warranty replacement with Whirlpool. However, Whirlpool informed us that a replacement fridge could take up to another 6 weeks to deliver. So, we went ahead and purchased a new fridge from Lowe's which was installed on 5 August, 2 months after we called Carolina Appliance in the first place. We have received the warranty replacement as well, because (Murphy's Law) it only took a week to arrive. In summary, I highly Carolina Appliance LLC perform a drastic stand down to review their troubleshooting practices, their communication procedures, and just their business practices over all.

I was able to get an appointment to repair my freezer within a couple of days. Andrew phoned ahead…read moreto let me know when he was arriving. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the leak and while he was at it, found that the freezer drawer was not closing correctly so he fixed that as well. Two weeks later, my drier is making a funny noise so I guess I'll be calling them again.

Seller sold misrepresented part and wouldn't return it. Stay away from companies that won't back…read moreup their product and have their own, odd code of ethics. I am a homeowner who bought a apart Mr. Arie Rom, owner of 911 Service Today represented as "Main Control Board WHIRLPOOL W10398151 CNTRL-ELEC." The unit was described as follows: "New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging..." The price for this unit was $182.30, which they kept. But when it arrived the part was not in the original packaging as Rom's company had stated it would be. Itt certainly was not new. Most importantly, the part was not the one that we requested. The actual part sent to us on the sticker shows W10-25 4619 688 03721 which was different that the label on the box (which was obviously repackaged) shown as "Factory Certified Parts" for a curious reason. Whirlpool couldn't even identify what the part was when I shared with them the number and the picture of the part. When I asked Mr. Rom for a refund due to this "mistake," Mr. Rom said it was unreturnable. From my guess, "911 Service Today" "services" old appliances, then take the control boards and resell them on Ebay -- or at least that is what I think they did in my case. I was one of the customers who bought their Ebay item, a control board advertised as an original and new Whirlpool product, with a Mr. Rom thought there would be no consequences. Thanks to Yelp there is.
