We ordered two double patty Park Burgers, a blueberry spice fruit shake, a strawberry sherbet fruit shake, and a regular fry with their house-made sauce. This meal was nearly perfect. The burgers were tender and juicy, with beautifully crisp edges on the smashed patties. Everything came out at the perfect temperature. I went with the default toppings, which were fresh, well-balanced, and generously portioned. The bun was soft and held everything together nicely. The fries were a pleasant surprise. I'm not usually a crinkle-cut fan, but these were crispy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the delicious mayo-based sauce. The fruit shakes were probably my least favorite part. I was expecting something brighter and more tangy, but they leaned more mild in flavor. That said, the icy consistency was refreshing and would hit the spot on a hot day. We hadn't realized they use peanut oil, which was a concern since my friend has an allergy. The staff were very helpful, reassuring us that the burgers are grilled separately and even going the extra step to confirm the fries are cooked in sunflower oil. They were pretty underwhelming, and considering there aren't really any discounted combo options, I don't think I'd order fries again. The bacon cheese fries were a little more indulgent, but definitely contributed to that "I feel disgusting, but in a good way" feeling afterward. You pay at the front counter and pick up your food and the front. Some of the item comes with fries and a drink and other items are burger only. They were great with substitutions. I changed the fries to onion rings and changed pop to water. No issues they were super flexible and I don't think they charged me for the changes. I ordered the mushrooms burger. It was so flavourful. Juicy beef patty with the perfect charred edges. My boyfriend got the Louisiana burger it was the perfect amount of spicy and a piece of deep fried cheese was so good. The burger was juicy and had a crust..! The curly fries were crispy like they should be...next time I'll try the fresh cut kind. You smell the wood burning right when you walk in. It's a good sized place with plenty of room to sit. I came right before a lunch rush so I'm lucky that my order only took about 10 minutes to prepare. When it tastes this fresh, I can wait! This was my first visit back from the previous visit close to the grand opening of this location. We arrived not long after they opened in the morning. Restaurant is very clean and well taken care of, great amount of seating and 3 people working the orders/kitchen. I decided to forgo my usual burger and went for one of my new favs the Hot N Honey sandwich. I was absolutely in awe over the thickness and crunch of the sandwich. Love the heat of the with the sweetness of the honey. Hands down one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I've tried! My youngest had aa poutine and some of their warm baked chocolate chip cookies. Great service, fresh food and one of the employees came over to check on us to ask if we needed anything else and to ask how our meal was. Very happy that we gave this location another try. Definitely some major improvements since their opening and our last visit! Bonus that it is a 25 min drive from Markham.
