Was on my way home and was feeling a little hungry so I stopped by this location the last time I had top gun burger was over 5 years ago so I don't really remember what it tastes like. It is a smash patty burger the burgers could have been a little bit thicker some of my bites all I tasted was bread the burger itself was moist it was cooked just right and the sauce that they put on the burger is very tasty I do wish they used a different cheese I didn't taste the cheese that was on the burger the sweet potato fries were delicious they were not dry and the sauce that comes with it was really good as well the serving of the fries is pretty big I got a medium and I was able to share with one other person and we still had a little bit left over fries It didn't take that long to make I would say maybe 10 minutes it took although they weren't busy because of covid and the new lockdown the staff was friendly as well read more

I tried the star fighter burger and it was amazing, Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in toronto - right ratios of meat and toppings, perfect flavor. I would return for the burger or meat-based sandwiches. I tried a sandwich with chicken and steak and the meat quality and flavour was perfect. The reason this is not a 5/5 place is because I tried their pulled pork chili fries as well as poutine and they were VERY sub-par, especially the poutine. I would not recommend to buy any fries-based items. The service was great and relatively fast! The ambiance was good, typical burger joint, not too busy so better than okay. Top Gun burger has many location. This is not my first time having a burger at Top Gun but it is my first time eating at this location and I love it! Let's start with their service because I think it is outstanding! The staffs were all very friendly and patient! The place is like a fast food kind of place but they actually came over and check on us! Really like this kind of attentive services! Next their menu! So many good burgers and sandwiches options!! It was so hard to pick because everything sounds so delicious! They even have beef bacon! Yummy! Can't forget to mention their gravy! It is housemade and it was super tasty! Been here a few times but first time at this location and was not disappointed again. Not the typical burger joint because they have a variety of special gourmet options. Each burger has a creative name associated to it. This time we tried the B52 and Star Fighter Burgers with Cheese Fries and Poutine. Let me warn you, the B52 is massive and essentially is a philly cheesesteak. It was very tasty but quite challenging to eat due to its size. Both cheese fries and poutine was very good as well. The only drawback is maybe price. If you're there for a simple patty burger it'll set you back around $8 but if you opt to try their gourmet burgers be prepared to spend $20+ if you want to include fries. read more

We stopped in after we were in the Vaughn area and were excited to see a familiar burger joint from downtown in the suburbs. We came in around 7ish and there were many people seated inside. We ordered and then realized only one family had their food. About 7 other tables were still waiting. That should have tipped us off. We eventually got our food after asking about it twice. Well my husband got his food and I got my chocolate milk shake--which was nothing more than chocolate milk with ice blended in (and at $6 a cup you would think it would be better and be in a bigger cup at the very least)! My husband was almost done eating when my burger and onion rings came out. My burger was fine but almost no condiments and no mayo or anything sitting out besides ketchup and vinegar. I was so annoyed. I wanted to ask but it was literally One guy working the counter and there were some very very large parties that walked in. Why not get additional stuff to help out during peak hours? Also our bill was over $45! For two people! 2 burgers one order of small onion rings and one shake! That's so steep in my opinion! It makes it impossible to bring out a family! My whole meal was such a letdown and I would definitely never return! The service is way too slow. I was the only person there and the staff found it more important to chat than to cool my meal. Finally they decided to get to work. Took almost half hour to get 5 burgers and fries. Cost over $100 without drinks. Burgers were good but WAY over priced. Fries were good but I like mine crispier and less soggy. They do give a decent quantity of fries. A burger and medium fries were a lot of food. Overall the quality is a mid-grade product but the prices are way over the top. Would I repeat? Probably not. Saw the prices a little jacked up so you have to be critical of what you're getting yourself into with it because the burger game is so competitive but found these guys to justify it. I would be weary of the 'stock orders' because this place is truly gourmet (sauces, cheese). With that said, boom! I ordered the Flying Zone combo, and a Freedom burger, and a Bobcat. That's the only good news. Quick and simple ordering and they told me it would take 25min to make. My drive was marked on the GPS as 26min (and we got there faster). The bad: I did not get the combo in the order. It was just the Flying zone burger, minus the fries/pop. I was charged fully for it. In the Freedom burger, the jalapeno poppers were so cold the cheese was solidified. I've cooked them before, and for them to be that consistency, the poppers would have to have been made 30-40min prior to being put into the burger. When I called the store back, they acknowledged that they screwed up the order... however when I asked for resolution they just flippantly told me to come back and get my fries. The Covid19 situation is such as to minimize travel outside the home, and to make interactions as least as possible. How does travelling BACK to the store resolve the issue for a screwup the store made? I saw 3 people working in the store. Nobody wore mask. Nobody had on any other PPE. I asked for a refund, and was blatantly refused. A simple refund of the screwed up items would have been enough. The lies, and ignoring my concerns has led me to posting the information and contacting you. That's not even mentioning the BAD customer service and loss of goodwill I have towards the company. They also kept putting me on hold and speaking in native language without acknowledging me.The staff at the store was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive. I always hear about Top Gun as one of those newer burger places giving the Priest a run for attention, but did not know they invaded a location in the industrial warehouse wastelands of Concord. Close enough to work, but still a drive away (on Keele just north of the 407 junction). I underestimated how busy this location would be in the lunch period. It wasn't like there was an endless lineup here, but still it was like almost an half hour before my order of one of their double patty menu burgers was ready. The burger itself was over-the-top and greasy good, well seasoned and definitely not exaggerating with the stacked height. With names like Maverick and Hellcat, these burgers better be the bomb. But yes, the slower-than-cold-grease pace of service in a peak time of business leaves much to be desired. read more

We finally got to try Top Gun Burger on Keele St last night. I kept it simple with the Bobcat burger combo (including fries and a drink). The burger was well-seasoned and the bun was really tasty too (it is important to make a good burger). Their Top Gun mayo is good but I would have liked a description of what ingredients are used. The fries are double-cooked so they're nice and crisp on the outside. My friend had the Hellcat burger (I think that was its name): the Bobcat with cheese, and onion rings on the side. The portions of fries/rings were huge and the burger was a good size. Service was excellent! Location and parking: about 10 min north of York University's Keele campus (my alma mater!), north of Steeles, and free parking all around. A tip for the owners/employees: the floors are slightly greasy and need a good cleaning to ensure no one slips and falls. read more

Last night was the 2nd time we went to eat burgers, poutine, fries, etc. Busy Saturday evening, service was fine, burgers good as before and fresh. One thing stood out on both occasion, even though you order your food form cashier when you walk-in, you are supposed to clear the table after eating, they indirectly force you to add tip which starts 10%, 13% or 15% +. The cashier would push a big screen in your face and folks behind can see what you are selecting as tip. It is good to help out the staff, but the only contact you have with them is they drop the food on your table as this location does not have a big enough counter. I am not sure if other locations do that. So factor a tip for this fast food place. Other then that it's a good place for burger. read more

Seasoned and flavoured fries! The hostess/cashier handed us a menu upon arrival. She was courteous and greeted us. If you pay by card, the tips are "set" as 10, 15, 20%. BUT you can choose a custom or no tip (we did tip though). Food was delivered to our table and we didn't bus our own table. Not sure what the "bus your own table" rule is, but there wasn't a garbage can near us so we didn't. The food was delicious and very seasoned! Saw this place on Uber Eats and decided to give it a try..except we went to the actual restaurant. Very nice and clean, friendly staff. The burgers were pretty good..in my opinion it's better than Burgers Priest and Holy Chuck's. The only complaint I have is that it took about 25 minutes for the food. Other than that the burgers are more than you can imagine. We ordered the wildcat and the freedom fighter and holy moly. Only the pictures that I have attached in my review can explain what words can't. We also got the large cheese fries. Just finish a bobcat burger with Bacon Cheese Fries. I top the burger with extra mushroom and a fried Egg. The waiting time is slightly longer but still within reasonable limit. Both Quality and Quantity of the burger is at excellent ranking. The beef patty is very juicy and tasty. The mayo dressing inside the burger is delicious. I got addicted. I also love the mushroom, and the bun too. The cheese bacon fries is good for photo taking. Taste is OK. I am not saying the fries is bad, but because the burger is too amazing, therefore I have not much words to comment on the fries. Next time, I might consider skipping the fries and order two burger instead (Steak/ Veggie). The waiter is friendly and the shop is clean/ tidy. It will be ideal for family gathering. Wanted to try this joint as I frequently drive past on the commute. The service is extremely slow. Took half an hour to get my simple order (burger no fries) while a full staff was on board. Staff looks inexperienced. I've had faster service at every other "premium" burger joint ie) Fresh Burger, Five Guys, Holy Chuck, Priest Burger Burgers were not done right the ground beef fell apart and was dry and tasteless. This was the first place we ate when we visited Toronto. After getting off the plane and checking into our hotel we were starving and this place definitely filled the need. I ordered the star fighter and my eyes popped out of my head when it arrived. This burger had everything. Juicy burger, crusted stuffed mushroom on top of that and cheese all over.
