It was another very warm/hot sunny and beautiful day outside at the Santa Teresa Golf Club today…read more This place gives off good vibes and respectful customer service as needed. You can feel it when rolling in for parking and the parking lots is usually nearly full on weekday mornings before 10am. Very motivating to see small and large groups of folks enjoying their games and Vitamin D sunlight out here. Driving range is always busy and club house area is nice and shady to relax or chill out. Yes, 9-hole games are usually a breeze and easy to walk around, but reaching the 10th hole and afterwards can become much more challenging, especially with long walks. The banquet area has good spaces for events. Gorgeous up there. People tend to speed when driving into the parking lot, so just be cautious. Not far from retailers/restaurants/etc. Very decent. It's the good vibes that keeps me coming back to play with the groups. Nice.

Making a solemn vow to never, ever, under any circumstances, play here again on a weekend…read more I learned how to play on this course. Been coming here for years. You've now lost my business permanently. The last two weekends I made the mistake of booking tee times at 8:30am and 7:30am on a Saturday. I tried booking an hour earlier the second time to see if it would help, it didn't. My time is too precious after working hard all week and taking care of my family to come and play 5.5 hour rounds, sitting at the tee box for 20-25 min between shots waiting for two groups to clear in front of me. I'd rather driver further and pay more to save an hour of my life and this frustration each weekend. See you again never.

It worked great for our wedding of 70, but could accommodate up to 200 guests. Michelle and Troy, the owners, are so helpful and flexible. Our wedding had full Hindu and Jewish ceremonies with a full change of clothing for both families in between. Michelle was very responsive to all of our requests. Michelle and Troy were available during the rehearsal and on our wedding day to make sure all of our space, power, water, and other requirements were being met. Bella Vista is also super flexible about the vendors you bring in: as long as your vendors are properly insured, you can choose the rentals, lighting, decorators, caterers, and photographers you like best, which is rare for wedding venues. Credit for basic chairs, dinner tables, and linens was included in the fee, and this credit can be used towards upgraded rentals. We used farm tables instead of round tables; I would recommend these to complement the venue's natural beauty. Market lighting, wildflower centerpieces, and a wooden ceremony arch made everything look spectacular! At Bella Vista, you can really use your creativity transform the lawn into your dream backyard wedding. Other details: Bella Vista only does one wedding per weekend, so we had access to the property for exterior drop-offs a couple of days before the wedding and for pick-ups the day after, which made it really easy to coordinate vendor deliveries as well as personal drop-offs. A 2-hour rehearsal was also included. On our wedding day, we had access to a bridal suite as well as the whole main floor of the house, which was great to give our guests a break from the heat. The caterers used the kitchen and deck. Michelle and Troy are such awesome people to let couples use so much of their home, so please treat Bella Vista as you would your own house!

I have taken my daughter to several different places, and this has been by far the best place ever! Unfortunately, the swimming lessons are only offered during the summer. The lessons are 30 minutes long, and each class has a maximum of four students. She was a lifesaver since I had some people with me in which walking far distances isn't as accessible. Once we are all on the venue, we were focused on setting up decorations. Jenna came in super strong with lifting hay bales and everything for our western themed party. While setting up, Denise gave me a quick run down of what's being served; their menu catered to everyone from meat eaters, picky eaters, and vegetarians. The venue itself is beautiful to walk in to breathe in natural air, see horses, and play a variety of games from ping pong, basketball, horse shoe, or bean bag toss, and they even offer face painting for the kids and adults too. Their bathrooms are impeccably clean and well managed. Their team did so well in serving the guests of the event! Shoutout to Nancy for being so nice and extra welcoming to the guests when serving them food. Despite the warmth, the event was a success because of the great staff and team at Coyote Ranch. Can't wait to come here again for a future company event!

Post-wedding review: venue was great…read more Coordination/answering questions regarding wedding planning was great. It was a bit annoying having to fill out the DJ forms several times and repeating similar info, but I understand we were caught in between them switching systems. Not everything was perfect, but nothing in life will ever be perfect. It was raining on the morning of the wedding, so we were very close to having to switch everything indoor. We made the call at around 2:30/3pm for a 4pm ceremony, so naturally some seats were missing and the staff had to shift things around last min. The staff graciously let us into the venue an hour early because the weather was not great. We had originally planned to start with the makeup service outdoor first. Venue's indoor bathroom toilets was not clean when we first entered. Good thing my bridesmaid checked and we were able to inform the staff before guests arrived. They took care of it immediately. I do highly recommend having a second coordinator, or have someone in the wedding party as well reversed in the wedding schedule/plan as the bride. There was mixed information at a point, and that resulted some confusion during the photos with friends and family at the alter. As a person who plans/organize/coordinate event for work occasionally, I couldn't help but felt the urge to push things along at several times during the wedding to keep the schedule on track. (Ie: vendors were supposed to eat at 6:30, so they can be ready to serve desserts/do photos at 7pm, but I had to remind the staff again. It's understandable that they wanted to wait for the vendors to be settled in first, but I really wanted to make sure things were on schedule since we only had 2 hours booked for the dessert vendor.) The DJ was good, but he did ask us questions on the day of. Some of those questions could've been redirected to the coordinator, but I guess he wanted to make sure. I did wish he asked some of the questions earlier since we had guests standing in front of the mansion & the wedding party was ready to make the grand entrance, but we were waiting for the DJ to ask questions and then make his way to his station. In the grand scheme of things, it was fine, but I was hoping for guests to do less waiting while doing nothing. The tabling layout was a bit off centered from what I had originally planned, but it was too chaotic on the day of to actually check and make adjustments. I was told that they needed to leave the space there originally so they can move things around, but that they will readjust the tables afterward. I did not have time to check the table after they did the first adjustment. As for the hor d'ourves, I was told that they'd prepare a separate plate for the bride and the groom, but it was actually a separate plate for the whole wedding party. I don't think we got enough for everyone because my husband and I only got to eat one out of the 5 we chose (we paid for extras). We did have to leave for photos immediately and asked the staff to put them in the bridal suite for us. My brother stole/ate a few of them while we were taking pictures, so I had to ask for more and they only had chicken skewer left...and it was cold.

They even gave me a discount which I'm truly grateful for. Claire our coordinator was very kind and helpful. During planning process we emailed many times. Then Christina( her manager) would take over. Christina was nice but I got a vibe she knew best. Felt rushed at times and communication felt insincere. I understand the time line was a quick one so that's not their issue. I knew they wanted to help. The food was delicious including the desserts!! We tasted the whole menu at the Granda a month prior. The food is excellent!! The decorations were completed by Luxe. Savannah who was very patient and met with my daughter and I twice to review. Quite pricey. Table centerpieces beautiful. Stairway was pretty. All decorations beautiful. The seating chart was done last minute and Christina did a wonderful job! I really appreciate Leal helping with last minute DJ and allowing an outside karaoke last minute. They did not need to do that, and they did! As far as the night of party lighting not so great. It was like a spotlight was on you. I had asked and a few others had asked about lighting. My daughter's theme was Midnight Enchanted garden. Way too bright. Willow heights allowed balloon company to come in early to help with balloon ceiling which was a super plus! I had hoped for a coffee station. Even though it was shared it would be there it was forgotten. S'mores area was darling but maybe a few low seats would have helped so kids could sit around fire pit. Dj Darren was great however I had hoped for him to help get the teens to dance. Maybe a dance off? My daughter hoped for that also. He had added some personalized touches which everyone greatly enjoyed. The staff was kind and helpful. This is not leals issue but it may have helped for coordinator to recommend photos outside with tea lights and fountain during night hours. I didn't think to ask photographer and photographer left before I could ask. I emailed a few times after event and no one responded. Would help to send out an after event review form. With that said I would book again. I'll just be more in advance and I'll be strict with asks.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hayes Mansion during their Easter brunch…read more I purchased a 12:00 PM ticket, but on the app it incorrectly showed 10:00 AM. Because of this confusion, we rushed to get ready and arrived around 11:00 AM, only to be told that our brunch time was essentially ending in about an hour. The whole situation was extremely stressful and poorly handled. What made it worse is that no one offered a reasonable solution. It seemed like a simple fix to allow us to attend the 12:00 PM seating (which is what we originally paid for), but no staff member showed any understanding or willingness to help. Everything felt disorganized, unclear, and frankly, very unprofessional. We ended up paying around $500 just to rush through the experience and barely enjoy it. For a place that markets itself as upscale, the customer service and communication were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend attending special events here unless they improve their organization and customer care.
