Had such a wonderful experience at P & V Winery in Morgan Hill! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and genuinely passionate about what they do, which really shows in every detail of the experience. The wines were fantastic--well-crafted, flavorful, and impressively priced. It's rare to find such high-quality wine that's also so accessible. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the owners went out of their way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. Also, major perk for being pet friendly! It honestly felt like being welcomed into someone's home rather than visiting a typical tasting room. If you're anywhere near Morgan Hill and enjoy great wine, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We tried this winery for the first time today and absolutely loved it! It was very laid back and chill, kid-friendly, and the drinks were great. We had the sangria, strawberry winarita, and a wine mojito along with glasses of wine. Everything was delicious. The ambience was amazing with a great band, a dance floor, and great service. We met both Paul and Vicki (the P and V), and they were so incredibly hospitable and generous. They even gave our kids otter pops. We'll definitely be back! read more

- came here for a friend's bday and had a great time, even in this scorching heat - Parking: was a busy day, so I had to circle around, and eventually ended up parking on the road on the way in - The space had many small local business vendors (cookies, tacos, salsa, candles, clothing and more!), really loved that! plus whenever I drink, I get the urge to spend.. oops - Staff: Very friendly! - Ambiance: You're outdoors, they have tables, but not all are shaded so just be mindful of that. We were lucky to have some tables under the trees! We were lucky to have live music that day too! - Drinks/Wine: I purchased a sangria because I didn't want to be too toasty since I had to drive later, it warmed me up but in a good way! Wish there was more fruit in it, but was still satisfied $13 - Food: They had a taco person there and the food was delish, you order a plate ticket from the bar $15 and you got 3 tacos with rice/beans. A little steep for the plate, but totally get it, and it was good. :) *note: taxes are charged on those fees - Honestly I probably wouldn't have come this way had my friends not told me about it, but I enjoyed my time there. read more

Such a hidden gem! Can't believe I had not been here till last weekend. Cute little winery in Morgan hill tucked away from traffic and main roads, surrounded by beautiful vineyards. They have a nice setup of a good mix of tables and chairs, picnic tables and some Adirondack chairs. They have a good selection of wines. Their wine flights are a great choice if you want to familiarize yourself with their wines before committing to one. We went on a weekend afternoon and they had good live music. We snagged one of the few empty tables with shade. We had their wine flight as well as wine cocktail- pinacolada. All the drinks were really fine!!! I can see ourselves becoming regulars here. We walked in around Saturday 1:45pm on Father's Day weekend. It was busy but we were still able to get seated. They have lawn or patio seating. Some have umbrellas for shade and some don't. The patio has shaded roof. They even had live music. Wished the wines were good. Their white wines were better than their reds. We liked the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Most of the wines were bland. And the Cab was earthy. This winery is for you if you like easy to drink and light wines. They were even serving sangria. We got to taste all the wines since we shared 3 tastings. Tasting flight is 4 wines for $20. They pour everything up front in the carafe glasses. Friendly staff. You can bring a picnic to enjoy with your wine. read more

I stopped by this winery for the first time and I had an absolutely lovely experience. From the start, we were greeted and warmly welcomed by Vicki, who was very pleasant and easy to chat with. During my visit I mentioned I was currently looking through event spaces to host a private event, and Vicki was incredibly helpful with answering every one of my questions and providing me with recommendations and information. She went above and beyond and really listened to my vision for the event. She is professional and brought out photo books of linens and event space set ups so I can get more of an idea of what my event can look like. All of this while enjoying a nice tasty flight that consisted of a few of their many award winning wines. Aside from great service, and delicious wine, the ambience of this winery is peaceful and calming, a great place to enjoy a glass during sunset. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area! read more

Such a cute and quaint family owned winery! Visited on Memorial Day weekend and had the pleasure of being helped by Vickie, the V of P&V winery! She was so nice and was able to seat my friend and I even though we didn't have a reservation. It's definitely a good idea to make a reservation if you can - we lucked out and got one of the two tables that wasn't already reserved for the day. We each chose to do a small flight, which consisted of 4 different 2-oz pours of our choice. Limiting the selection down to 4 was not easy to do, but Vickie helped make the decision a little bit easier. My favorite wine of the day was the sparkling rosé, even as I'm writing this I'm regretting only purchasing one bottle to go! Though we didn't stay for lunch or the music, it was nice that they had a band and serve pizza! I think you can also bring your own picnic, which is personally my favorite to do at a winery. Will definitely come back for some music and a bottle of wine in the future! read more

Great wines and ambience. I loved the relaxing outdoor vibe. I packed a picnic and we just hung out. I will say I'm not giving 5 starts only because the music was a little loud and it was confusing when you arrive on Where to sit or how you go about doing the tasting. We waited 10 minutes before I walked up to the bar area. Where you order then take back to your table. It's all self serve. Highly recommended when in the area. read more

The owners, Paul and Vickie, are super sweet and friendly couple. This is definitely a family-friendly, casual wine tasting experience. The wine was all very wonderful and we enjoyed the diverse yet home grown selection. Had good recommendations from Paul. I personally enjoyed the still rosé. My group of friends (6 total) came to P&V at 11am, a little over dressed but were warmly greeted by Vickie. It started to get busy after the lunch hour. Paul & Vicki are Wonderful Hosts, Their wines, music food and venue. You are treated as family. Great to see new artists there and food truck options. Total grand experience and room to park and sit to enjoy. Paul personally crafts his wines and with family built the area grounds for their guests. Glad to know they have set behavior expectations for children and dogs. Some wineries now do not allow at all unless dogs are service animals. We have stopped going to wineries where both are allowed to run free. read more

I just had my birthday party here and I couldn't recommend a better place! Paul and Vicky are the sweetest people you will ever meet. They were so accommodating and helpful and was there with anything that me and my guess needed. this is definitely my winery of choice. It was a simple Sunday afternoon gathering at P and V Winery in Morgan Hill. I'd never been there before, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. What I experienced was excellent wines, outstanding hospitality, a relaxing outdoor venue, and some amazing music by the group Encore. The event exceeded my expectations. For a winery that claims they're kid friendly, we had a terrible experience. We came with a few children and they were having fun and running around outside (we were the only ones outside mind you) and were told to keep the kids at the table. Children don't want to just sit at a table at a winery. You're either kid friendly or you're not. And this place is not (despite what they may promote). Additionally we got a cheese plate and a meat and cheese plate and were handed a plastic box with wrapper meat cheese from the store, whereas people inside had nicely plated platters. Talk about making us feel not welcome. Terrible experience and would not recommend at all. We won't be back anymore. read more

I put this location in my Yelp collection last December and knew I had to go during the Spring or Summer months. The expectation for my husband and I was to take a seat in a serene outdoor environment and enjoy a wine flight. However, more awaited us. Paul and Victoria, aka P&V, welcomed us in with handshakes, smiles, and an overall warm nature. We were their first guests (just opened at 12pm) and were able to choose from a number of gorgeous spots: the picnic bench under the shade of trees, near the stage to enjoy the band, along the lawn near a calming fountain or under the awning near the bar. We ultimately settled under the awning near the bar. We started with a strawberry wine-a-rita and pinacolada beverage, enjoyed the wine flight (my husband had red, and I had white and sparkling rosé options), and we ended with a tasty sangria. Needless to say, our expected experience of maybe 30-45 minutes turned into two marvelous hours of basking in the outdoor garden oasis listening to a live band. They host events (check out their online calendar), accept reservations and rentals for large and small parties, and are family and pet-friendly. It's an all-around beautiful winery, which I am so happy we dropped by. Be back soon with family and friends! read more

I came here wine tasting this morning, it was cold and rainy. Despite the weather, my sister and I had a great time. There are wines that I sampled that I normally wouldn't like but their wine seems to be more to my liking. We met the owner, Vicki, and she informed us of events that are coming up in April and the summer. Live music and tacos? We're in! I'm glad we stopped by today we felt very welcome and the place was very friendly. In addition, for people saying they are not kid friendly, they need to practice their parenting skills. No one wants kids running around as if it was a playground. It's not pleasant for any of us to see that. If you can't control your kids then stay home. read more

We absolutely loved P and V Winery. It is in such a pretty location and we really enjoyed the wine especially the Brut. It is nice to find a local winery that does great whites and Roses and not just reds. A quick and enjoyable 12 minute drive from my sleepy neighborhood of Rancho Santa Teresa. I passed it once but they had wine barrels out front and signs saying Tasting Room, so I'm the one to blame for that mistake. I arrived to a charming, quaint "boutique boutique" winery on a less than desirable day, drizzly, cold, but was greeted by a sign saying Indoor Tasting. Yay. Ample parking fyi. I was greeted by Vickie, very nice, welcoming, informative and overall pleasant lady. We chatted for a bit while I enjoyed my flight by myself as I was relishing in a little escape from my wife and children who were attending a baby shower. The wine was solid, and the chocolate kisses to accompany were the icing on the cake for me (sweet tooth) . They have live bands, probably when the sun comes out of hibernation. Lots of outdoor seating, corn hole and an outside wine pouring bar. Overall I will definitely be back, I might even bring my wife and 2 rugrats with me, maybe :). read more

This winery was an absolute delight! I came here with some friends on a chilly fall day and they had the heaters on around the tables so we could be very comfortable. They suggest reservations on live music days, which I would too. They set up your table so cute too! I loved walking up to find my name written on a small chalkboard hooked onto a tin of succulents. Wonderful ambiance for a weekend lunch or picnic. They've got a bunch of picnic tables for you to use, though reserving in advance is always a good idea, especially if it's a holiday. The day we came was Father's Day, but we were lucky to snag one of the last tables. Each table has an umbrella mounted on it, which is highly necessary as it's very sunny and only a few tables are shaded by a tree. The wine was good, though I opted for the sangria. Bring lots of food! It is the way. read more

We absolutely love P&V! This winery is run by Paul and Vicki who are such friendly, kind, and genuine people. They accept dogs and have been wonderful in accommodating our stroller and toddling one year old. The owners are excited to share about their wine and will explain everything from the regions they purchased additional grape varietals from, to the reason behind the bottle art, their own favorite picks, etc. The wine itself is fantastic. Paul knows his wine, and I have yet to be disappointed. The variety is honestly incredible too: from amazing reds (the Sangiovese and Estate blend are my faves) to beautifully balanced whites (I am obsessed with their Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay), to a still rose, a sparkling rose, a white sparkling, and their signature sangria blend- you always have something new to try. Their consistency in quality has continued to impress us. The venue itself and grounds feel like a secret garden, as you walk back towards the main seating area which is split into a manicured garden area, and the open trees, picnic areas and cornhole station closer to the back. We have come twice on Sundays to enjoy the live music, which changes every weekend and means you'll always have a unique experience. The Sangria Sundays are also a huge plus- when I came with my friend, she noted she is a bit of a sangria snob, and absolutely loved it. Paul and Vicki have been very attentive and wonderful at checking in with guests throughout their stay. It is self-service, but when it isn't too busy they will often help bring flights to your table. The wine club option has also been amazing: we have lived in CA for years but never found ourselves interested in joining a winery, until now. Membership was a breeze and the fact they were actually family friendly AND have amazing wine just solidified our choice, and we've been extremely happy since. read more

When we arrived, there was a function going on outside across the community hall. They were playing loud music and I'm like, there's a wedding that's gonna happen in about 10 minutes! The wedding started and luckily the music outside changed to a more mellow tune which went well with the ceremony. It was a 10 minute ceremony, the shortest I've ever experienced! The reception inside was decorated nicely. The buffet food was very good and the DJ started his music which kept the party jumping. Open bar but I'm not a drinker, couldn't even finish my virgin margarita, lol! We had a real good time! Kudos to the DJ for keeping the reception alive! It was a very lovely wedding indeed.

It worked great for our wedding of 70, but could accommodate up to 200 guests. Michelle and Troy, the owners, are so helpful and flexible. Our wedding had full Hindu and Jewish ceremonies with a full change of clothing for both families in between. Michelle was very responsive to all of our requests. Michelle and Troy were available during the rehearsal and on our wedding day to make sure all of our space, power, water, and other requirements were being met. Bella Vista is also super flexible about the vendors you bring in: as long as your vendors are properly insured, you can choose the rentals, lighting, decorators, caterers, and photographers you like best, which is rare for wedding venues. Credit for basic chairs, dinner tables, and linens was included in the fee, and this credit can be used towards upgraded rentals. We used farm tables instead of round tables; I would recommend these to complement the venue's natural beauty. Market lighting, wildflower centerpieces, and a wooden ceremony arch made everything look spectacular! At Bella Vista, you can really use your creativity transform the lawn into your dream backyard wedding. Other details: Bella Vista only does one wedding per weekend, so we had access to the property for exterior drop-offs a couple of days before the wedding and for pick-ups the day after, which made it really easy to coordinate vendor deliveries as well as personal drop-offs. A 2-hour rehearsal was also included. On our wedding day, we had access to a bridal suite as well as the whole main floor of the house, which was great to give our guests a break from the heat. The caterers used the kitchen and deck. Michelle and Troy are such awesome people to let couples use so much of their home, so please treat Bella Vista as you would your own house!

Since my family is from out of town and we live in Gilroy, this really helped with the unloading and just overall timing of getting ready that day. PROS: - Food separate from party: My dad and uncle cooked using our own BBQ's behind the grange. We did buffet style tacos in the kitchen. I liked that this was separate was the party and it gave us more room for seating. - Tables and Chair included: The venue has plenty of rectangle tables and the comfortable plastic chairs (not the metal chairs). - Side room: perfect for kids! I made custom coloring pages and put some toys in there. There were a lot of kids there but I hardly saw any of them because this room kept them occupied. - Frig: to keep cake and fruit chilled - Restrooms: plenty, never any wait time. - Cleanliness: the place was spotless when we arrived, very pleased with the cleanliness. - Parking: on site for the event, and plenty around. - drinks: with the one day event insurance we were able to bring in our own beer and wine. No bar staff needed. CONS: - seats per table: the chairs and comfy because they are wider, but this means we were only able to fit 3 next to each other per side. This made my count of table/chairs/centerpieces off a bit as I planned 4 chairs per side per table. Not a big a deal in the end but something to think about if your tables plan to touch like ours. -No A/C: we got lucky and it wasn't as hot as I thought it was going to be and there are fans on the ceiling and some floor fans. But as the girl of the hour running around I was so sweaty (probably cuz I'm also 31 weeks preg) but at least the guests were comfortable. I made paper fans for guest to use just in case. Overall, we will definitely be using this venue again!

Online Catalog offered 30 varieties to choose from for $10 a plant. However on the day, they offered 47 tomato varieties (see pic) The Local Makers Market event also had local owned business booths, from a flower van, champagne, crafts, olive oil booth, salsa booth, bath products like lotions and potions and likely a dozen more I can't recall. A food truck called "Pupusa Lady" and of course I ordered 2 empanadas. Delicious ! Parking was easy as one actually parks on the main road. Not sure if there was other parking. All in all, it was a warm breezy day and amazed how many ppl were buying these starter tomato plants. Even the owner was in the midst talking to customers. So glad they accepted plastic. Process was super easy as one finds the vanities, grab the pot (and free cardboard box, if needed), then walk to "cashier" table and pay. I bought 4 varieties : Brandywine, Nepal, Martha Washington and Tasmanian Chocolate. Tip: During the tomato season, This farm offers an honesty cart where they leave their beautiful tomatoes of the season on a cart outside and one pays based on prices and place payment in a lock box or similar. I haven't experienced that YET as tomato season is not yet here. But once summer arrives and on my way to the Gilroy Outlets, I'll be sure to buy fresh in season tomatoes.

You walk around picking the cherries you want. The trees are marked to indicate the different varietals. You put them in your bag, and you go back to the table to pay for what you picked. Great date idea. There are a couple photo spots designed for Instagram type photos. We didn't use those, just took regular pics. And the whole thing cost like $10 for both of us. If going on warm spring weather , bring a hat or umbrella., there were still plenty of shades under cherry trees as walk tree to tree or row to row . We got carried away and end up picking 6 lb +, cost added up fast . 6.50$ per pound for cherry and 3.50$ / lb for apricots . Both cherry and apricots were sweet ! Distanced only 20 mins from San Jose Central area , which is great location if you are in nearby town/city .

The berries are super fresh and sweet! I feel like it's the perfect summer fruit. The darker they are, the sweeter they are but i also really like the slight tartness that the just ripe ones have as well. I picked up 2 pounds on my first go but my family and I ate it all within 3 days so I had to go back to pick up 5 more pounds. And we can see the front from there so we decided we would just walk back after. A car was coming so I told my daughter to move in so the car can pass. *HONK HONK* as if we were running. She rolls down the window and starts giving us a huge attitude about how we are not suppose to be walking around "Stay right there!" She was so completely rude I knew it had to be none other than the owner because everyone else we encountered were so kind! Literally a family with small children just walking didn't need to be honked at. We were already stopped when she approached so she could have just rolled her window down and spoke to us nicely.
