And we had very few problems and whatever small problems there were, were quickly resolved. For any Airbnb hosts in the Bay Area I would highly recommend Guesthop as a great choice for Airbnb management.

I would not recommend this company. We unfortunately signed an extensive contract that we needed to…read moreread over more carefully. Here are some things to know: Guesthop will not help with trash removal- it is not something they do. If you cancel, Guesthop will take 50% of your earnings for any booking they obtained when you had them; that's right, 50 PERCENT. We are still paying them even though we canceled on August 8th. I just sent another check for $500...ugh. Ultimately, we will have paid them nearly as much as we earned for those 30 days. They will completely control your Airbnb calendar and charge whatever price they like. They dropped our nightly fee from $139 to $113 without our knowledge. We are now back up to $139 and fully booked without them. So far, we have paid Guesthop over $2,000 to manage our property for 30 days; our earnings were $5,000.00, AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO PAY THEM FOR MONTHS, even though we canceled. Keep in mind this does not include payment to cleaning staff. This payment is what Guesthop got for making phone calls and managing our calendar. When we had an issue, we still made multiple phone calls and went by the property to manage matters ourselves. We had someone break the window. Guesthop called one glass company, who gave an estimate for $2700, stating the entire window frame needed replacement. We said no; we got the glass replaced and had the pulley on the window replaced when we got home for $10. In addition, guesthop did not attempt to help us - stating the broken window was our fault. Even though three other professionals noted the damage was impact-related (i.e., someone threw something or put their hand through the window). The cleaning staff is excellent, and our property always looked lovely. If you would like someone else to manage your calendar, that's excellent, but we want to see our comments and what our guests are requesting or need. Guesthop takes away all access to your Airbnb listing. We learned our lesson: READ the contract carefully! We have found an excellent manager to work with that meets our needs. Final advice: shop around before you sign up with Guesthop.

This was a…read morelast-minute getaway with some very unique circumstances, and Amy handled everything with such care, thoughtfulness, and expertise. She not only made it all come together seamlessly, but also saved us a few thousand dollars by choosing the perfect hotel and ideal travel dates. From the very beginning, we felt completely taken care of--and that feeling stayed with us the entire trip. What could have been stressful turned into something incredibly special. The experiences she planned were beyond anything we could have imagined. We spent our days laughing, bonding, and trying new things--ziplining through the jungle, ATVing through forests and shallow rivers, and even swimming half a mile through a breathtaking cenote. We saw dolphins and sea turtles, visited a beautiful Mayan village, and enjoyed some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican food we've ever had. There were also so many magical, unexpected moments--like spending time with monkeys and deer, and even spotting a massive wild stingray. Every day felt like something out of a dream. What meant the most to us, though, was how safe we felt the entire time. As someone who is usually a very nervous traveler, I can honestly say I felt completely at ease. Amy created an experience that was adventurous and exciting, yet always grounded in a deep sense of safety and trust. This truly was a trip of a lifetime, and we are so grateful to Amy for making it possible. Her attention to detail, her ability to understand exactly what we needed, and her genuine care for her clients set her apart in every way. We will be talking about this trip for years to come--and we cannot wait to work with her again.

As always, Amy was courteous, professional, quick to respond, and catered the trip around its purpose, which was to celebrate a graduation. She answered all of our questions and concerns. We wanted a more relaxed trip than last time, so we opted to choose our own activities, but asked Amy to help us book them. This time we needed quite a few train tickets to navigate through Italy, and Amy chose great ones. I was stressed about our luggage and how we would watch/store it, etc, but we were able to put all our luggage above our seats and didn't have to worry about anything. Once again, Amy arranged private transfers to/from the airports/hotels for us. All of the hotels were in amazing locations within easy walking distance to great sights and great food. One of the hotels was a bit outdated, butwas built in the 1700s and is probably extremely difficult and expensive to modernize. The location was just down the street from the Duomo though. Honestly, could not get better than that. Overall, trip was so much fun and relaxing. Venice was a sleeper hit. We all wished we had more time there. Taking the vaporetto in was an experience! Very cool and convenient to take it straight to the hotel as well. It was really great to spend more time in Florence and get to wander and see the city. Some of us went to the top of the dome of the Duomo, view was amazing. The climb was intense though! Bologna food tour was incredible!!! Definitely want to go back and eat literally everything. Milan was a good pit stop and we wished we had gotten tickets to see inside the Duomo.  Mykonos was beautiful and the transfer company was great. Super nice and we used them for taxi service as well. Hotel had a free shuttle to and from Mykonos town until 9pm. The catamaran tour was beautiful, amazingly relaxing, and one of the highlights of Greece. It wasn't super windy that day, so it was basically perfect! Only bump was that 2 days before we left we were trying to check in for the flight home and it said there was an issue and talk to the travel agent. I reached out to Amy and we found out that one of the airlines we were using to get home had cancelled the flight without notifying her or us of the change. Definitely not what we wanted to hear right before we needed to fly back. But Amy was fantastic. She told us don't worry, this was why we had an agent, it was her job to worry about everything and that we just needed to enjoy our last day. Amy got back to me pretty quickly (all things considered) and had booked new flights for the 8 of us. And even though we weren't sitting 8 together, she was able to get us seats of 4 and 4 close to each other. It was still a little stressful waiting to see if we were stranded or not, but nothing in comparison to if we'd had to do all of that ourselves. Thank goodness for Amy and travel insurance!!! Another unforgettable trip; THANK YOU, Planet Hoppers.

Shannon is professional, organized, experienced, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She provided excellent recommendations on which ship and itinerary would be the best fit, and her firsthand knowledge of the Virgin Voyages brand really showed since she has cruised with them herself. Shannon helped with every detail of the trip, from assisting with meal reservations to organizing private tours during our stops in Victoria, B.C. and Vancouver. I truly didn't have to worry about anything or spend time researching -- I let Shannon plan the entire trip, and she absolutely delivered. The private tours were fantastic, and I learned and saw so many highlights of both Victoria and Vancouver. I especially enjoyed my time in Vancouver. Shannon booked a private tour for 8 of us, and it was so convenient being picked up directly from the port terminal. Our hotel for the overnight stay was only about a 5-minute walk away, so we were able to quickly drop off our luggage before heading out on a full-day tour of Vancouver. Thanks to the tour, I was able to see and experience so much more of Vancouver than I would have if I had explored on my own. We visited Butchart Gardens, Stanley Park, Granville Island, Olympic Village, Capilano River Hatchery, and Capilano Suspension Bridge, and we also drove by and learned about many other sites along the way. I had an amazing time on the cruise and met so many wonderful people, many of whom were also Shannon's clients. There were around 20 of us booked through her on the sailing, and it was great connecting with fellow travelers throughout the trip. This was such a great way to get my first taste of cruising and traveling to places I had never been before. I'm so glad I booked through Shannon and would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a cruise or vacation!

We thought we didn't need the extra help, and boy were we wrong! After doing some of our own initial research, we realized we had a ton of questions. After doing more research, we also realized we were not paying extra for her services, but getting lots of personal attention. Why wouldn't you want a cruise concierge? Our first cruise was with MSC and we just finished our 2nd one on Norwegian. She really helped make both special. I will ALWAYS use Shannon and look forward to working with her when we plan our next cruise.

Sitah and Dale (the owners) and their staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their affable mien, as well as their superb culinary skills, made our stay memorable and deeply satisfying. We chose the East Room. It is lovingly decorated, spacious, and well-furnished. The queen size bed, desks, sofa, mini-fridge, and heater that warms up the toilet seat provide just about all of the creature comforts one needs. The room also has a fire stove to delight the pyromaniacs and a huge, deep stone soaker tub that can easily accommodate two sumo wrestlers (or half a dozen jockeys). A couple of things to note: (1) There's no cell phone reception (at least not T-Mobile or Sprint). But there is free WiFi. (2) While the windows and skylights may infuse the room with a bright and cheery feel, they may make it hard for you to sleep in late. So don't forget to pack your sleep mask.

I am so delighted to now say that Sitah and Dale made the most special day of my life a total dream. After searching up and down the California coast for a place to get married that felt "right", I was feeling pretty disheartened and was ready to throw in the towel. But, on a whim, we decided to take a trek to Bonny Doon on our way to another venue location and I happened upon the Redwood Croft for a potential place for out of town guests to stay. And wouldn't you know it, they mentioned they host events on their website! My now husband and I took a day and drove down the coast from San Mateo and stopped in to chat with Sitah about her home. The place was (is!) stunning and from the moment we set foot on the grounds, we knew it was the perfect place to get married. Sitah and Dale charge a reasonable amount for the 2 night rental of their whole B&B, plus having nearly 100 people on-site for a wedding! It was so magical to spend the night there before the wedding, then to wake up and eat Sitah's homemade blueberry pancakes (which she made a batch gluten free for me! So amazing!) and spend the rest of the day primping and relaxing before we said "I do!" on their beautiful back lawn and garden. They made everything go so smoothly and they opened their home to my family for the weekend -- it made the wedding weekend just sublime. Before we had our big day, the hub and I spent an impromptu overnighter at the Croft, just to get a feel for it. Our night was peaceful (we stayed in the East Room) and I can't wait to go back now and spend special weekends and anniversaries there. Thank you, Sitah and Dale, for making our day a true piece of romance. Our memories will be sweet and our life will be grand and you had a hand in making that come true for us!

The initial savories were yummy, but I don't think that I can appreciate all of their fanciness. I don't like caviar. Ricotta tartlettes were fine. There was some sort of mousse thing that was ok, but I didn't like it much. The gougères were my favorite. The second row was cucumber sandies, chicken on croissant and lobster on brioche toast. All were excellent. I don't like caraway though, so cucumber sandies weren't the best. They bring out a warm scone when they bring out your second tea selection (you get two). The scone was not great. Just give me a plain scone and let me slather it with yumminess and I am a happy gal. This was cranberry thingy that was just ok. Desserts were good. There was some sort of chocolate thing that I enjoyed. The mini pavlova was my favorite. There was some sort of quick bread with zingy curd on top. It was ok. Then there was a moussie thing that was just ok. I don't know what it was because the online menu Does Not match what they give you. I understand that they change it, but it was a little deceptive. The ambiance was NOT relaxing. The setup up is in their café, which is next to the lobby. I didn't expect to be sitting in the lobby. In the photo you can see the front desk.
