    Panko Cod
    Connie C.

We have been eating here for years. I didn't realize I had not left any reviews. Let's first start out that they have the best margaritas! We usually get the shrimp appetizer in hot sauce for our appetizer ( it's absolutely delicious, dip the bread in the sauce after you eat all the shrimp ) but we decided to get dessert instead of an appetizer. My favorite is the panko cod. It's so amazing! The desserts were so yummy! I also want to say we have always had great service.

I'd probably rate this a 3.5, but rounding down to 3. The inside is spacious and seems to be a popular meetup spot for lunch. The menu is huge and a little overwhelming (sandwiches, burgers, Mexican, Italian, wings, fish/shrimp, and bbq). I'm generally a fan of smaller menus that specialize in certain food (like say, bbq). The portion sizes are generous, which is definitely appreciated. The complimentary bread was delicious: buttery and garlicky! For my entree, I tried the brisket sandwich, which had tomato, lettuce, and cheese. It was a very hearty sandwich. The brisket was not melt-in-your-mouth tender like other briskets I've had at bbq joints, but it wasn't bad. The homemade potato chips on the side were a nice touch. Service was pretty good and the waitress was friendly. I like that they make a lot of their food from scratch and I'd be interested in coming back to try other items on that huge menu

    Pimp and beautiful Tammy.

My third visit. First time, my friend and I stumbled in here by accident while looking for a Chinese restaurant. It gets better every time we come back. Place is homey, super comfortable with a really impressive bar. It's like a neighborhood bar with a great restaurant in it. Sports themed decor is really a nice touch. However, these are definitely Spartan fans. Service is always friendly and cheerful. (And incredibly fast.) Tammy was a charm (as were servers on the other two visits Pimp and I both had the BBQ Rib and Chicken combo. Sorry. The meat was so tender it floated into our mouths before we could get pictures. I'm not a big red meat eater. So for me to eat ribs says a lot. Sign up for their emails. They offer specials. Going back for my birthday (carrot cake ... OMG).

    Chicken Tortilla Soup

Another great visit at Heroes. The pulled pork sandwich is one of my favorites. Plus, the housemade chips are pretty amazing. This was the first time trying the chicken tortilla soup and it was good as well - it had chunks of veggies and chicken - and of course, some nice spice. We brought some people with us that had never been to Heroes, and they really enjoyed it! Service was great and drink refills kept coming. The decor was nice as well - it's December and it was all decked out for Christmas. Can't wait for our next visit to Heroes.

This is a whole order of Burnt Ends from Heroes. I thought it was leftovers. Will not be going back there. Sad order.

This is a full order of burnt ends from heroes. been there plenty of times food seems to be getting less and less. Lost my business. Prices up, food less. Tastes like meat out of a house fire, dry and hard.

    Plank Whitefish dinner.

Plank Whitefish baby!!! Always solid, always busy, always a great meal. What's even better is you can watch the game while having delicious food. We don't come too often but when we do it's always a winner.

Lasagna with way too much mozzarella and no ricotta to be found. Sauce was very good and pasta was cooked perfectly.

Not bad, though it could have been warmer. The chicken & waffle were pretty good, too. Overall, the food quality seems to have improved since my last visit, the service was far better and more attentive, and the atmosphere - while still pretty subdued, was at least clean and less chaotic than before. I will return for dinner at some point, but at least wanted to update my prior review to reflect their improvements. This place seems to be managed better than it once was.

Fast-forward to today, and I was a tad disappointed with the overall experience versus the last time. I thought my chicken strips were very bland and very pedestrian. Fries were still OK put the chicken was nothing to get excited about. Relative to price I thought it was a tad high at $19 as typically chicken strips and fries are more budget friendly than that at other restaurants I have been to. My wifes chicken sandwich was also bland in her own words and not very inspiring. The highlight of the meal was my 12 year old grandson's cheeseburger and fries which he loved and ate all of it in spite of its large size. That basically was the same meal I had the last time I was here and was very pleased with it as well. Service was exceptional where the waitress was super friendly with great Follow up and continues to be a strength of this business. Overall I had high expectations going into this meal based on my last experience, but alas it was not to be.

When the order first arrived, the receipt actually said gluten-free, but the burger had a regular bun instead. I didn't catch it right away, but after taking a bite something felt off. I reordered, and the second order came out correct . Things happen, but I really appreciate when companies handle issues the right way. Overall for the quality of the food and the quantity, the price point was not justified. $20 for the tacos, $20 for the chicken pesto, $9 for the sliders kids meal. In terms of the quality the meals were all pretty heavy and oily with the chicken pesto being the most heavy and oily. The sliders my kid did like although the fries were a bit soggy and bland to a kid who usually loves fries. The fish tacos were pretty good along with the corn salsa that is included and I'm glad I got this since it wasn't too heavy. The atmosphere was nice and dark with moderate lighting. The service was okay. There was people coming in on a Sunday morning. Overall it was just an average American restaurant in my opinion with the food not worth the price.

The restaurant itself has a spacious layout with plenty of seating. Service was friendly and efficient, especially considering how busy they were. The food is definitely what earns this place its great reputation. The menu offers a wide variety of options, whether you're in the mood for something light or a hearty meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I really appreciated that there was something for everyone. I ordered the red snapper with two sides. One thing I liked was the variety of potato options--they offer roasted cubed potatoes, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, and more, so you can choose whatever you're in the mood for. We also ordered steak, and it was cooked perfectly to our requested temperature. for appetizer, we got the barbecue flatbread and that was really tasty. Reminds me of the barbecue pizza at Cici's which is my favorite pizza that they serve there. The portions were generous, and we all left completely stuffed. The drinks were another highlight. Their cocktail menu has plenty of choices. I had the strawberry mojito mocktail, sampled the margarita on the rocks, and the sangria was excellent as well. Overall, I'm glad we chose this place. As a teen, my classmates would love to come here just for the breadsticks. Now, I am here to show my child a taste of my childhood. I had a limoncello cocktail, it was fine, but a great price. The breadsticks and garlic dip are just as good as always. Very nostalgic. We tried the antipasto salad. I loved the ranch, very solid dressing. The salad was good, plenty of meat and cheese and other veggies. I do prefer the meat and cheese more chopped instead of large slices, but a good variety. We had a large spinach pizza. Again, so nostalgic, tasted like childhood. Thin and cheesy, and a good size for a decent price. A lot of places a large pizza only gives you eight to ten slices, but this was twelve, great for three, probably could have even had four of here here since we had leftovers.
