Holy white table cloth Batman, this place is top notch WOW total trip, kinda felt like your drunk ants reception, total weird experience. Not sure what to say, do the have food yes, and the prime rib looked pretty impressive, beer ck wine ck. oh when I stopped they had some live lounge music, wow bonus. The place was jamming and everyone over 50 we're having such fun. You gotta ck this place out, quite the experience.

    Friday night. With live entertainment.

This is one of Clarkstons best kept secrets. We can always walk in. Just a block away from downtown. We drive by people waiting in line outside for meteocker food. I don't get it. But don't tell no one. I love there food and the pours are the largest of anywhere I've ever been. Plus it's locally owned and operated. The owner is almost always there.

Outstanding. Great service. Great food. Try the walleye. A little dated with the decor but you cannot beat the food or the value

The restaurant side is super cute and decorated with a sea glam theme. Everyone was kind, helpful and welcoming! I placed my order upon arriving and it was made fresh and ready in about 15minutes. I decided on the fish and chips and added two pieces of shrimp. The meal came with tartar and cocktail sauces and cole slaw. The crisp on the fish is unmatched in the area, each bite offering the perfect crispy coating and flakey fish ratio! The fresh fish pairs nicely with a touch of lemon juice but if you want to send your tastebuds into a tailspin, consider adding a dollop of their tartar sauce...delicious! While the fish was the star of the show, the fries were adequately seasoned and crispy as well. The shrimp were nicely sized and if you enjoy battered shrimp, I wouldn't skip trying these morsels of sweet sea meat! The coleslaw is a good balance of zing and sweet and not heavily creamy based which was a refreshing change. My point..."Go Get Golden", you won't regret it!

They carry just about any bottled beer you'd want, and usually have one or two rotating taps. The wine list is short and very "small-town," but it fits the place. The food is really the highlight. Everything I've had has been solid. They even have a small salad bar that might look a little sketch at first glance, but the ingredients are fresh and well-kept. The soups are good, and the lunch entrées have all been reliable. I haven't tried dinner yet, but lunch has never let me down. Inside is clean, but it's definitely tight quarters--you end up getting to know the other people at the bar and nearby tables, which honestly adds to the charm. Service is friendly and prompt, and you feel welcomed. Overall, it's a great casual small-town stop when you want good food without the fuss. Not fancy, just dependable and worth coming back to.
