They have a cozy and clean interior with a beautiful fireplace, gorgeous views of Cooley Lake, ample parking, and friendly wait staff. My personal recs are the hand-battered fish and chips, curly fries, and mac and cheese. Homemade ranch and Greek dressings, and tons of other stuff I can't wait to try. Well done Prime 7!! I am replacing a previous poor review with this great review because Franco handled a difficult situation like a true pro! He invited us back to discuss what happened. He sat at our table for a bit and we talked. The service has been awesome for the past year and there were some issues for us lately. Franco looked at it as a training opportunity and had a meeting with his team. Our service tonight was great! My wife & I love to support local businesses and this is one of our favorites! Much better than the previous time I came the burger was juicy and the right temperature wish it was seasoned more taste very plain but still overall a good burger. We arrived Saturday around 6:30pm. Not super busy- got a seat by the window. Waited almost 5 minutes before leaving- no one came over to bring water - nothing. The whole time we were waiting ...there were two girls chatting at the hostess stand. Needless to say not too impressed. read more

2 1/2 *. First visit to this neighborhood spot. I'd been there many years ago when it was called something else. It was a Monday night and the crowd was very light. We ordered non-alcohol drinks (coke, water, tea). I asked if it was fresh brewed tea, the hostess assured me it was - and perhaps it was, but all of our drinks tasted weird. I tried the water and it tasted like something out of an old well - strong, sulfur-y, mineral-y...they really need something to filter and deodorize their water. Though not a fan of pre-bottled tea, I'd have preferred it to this brew. The service was less than spotty. We placed our food order and didn't see the server for nearly 25 minutes. Finally salad and Cole slaw arrived and the server disappeared again. Coleslaw was fair. My daughter tried her side salad and said it was undressed. We peered all over the nearly empty restaurant and did not see the server anywhere. I finally hailed a lady bussing tables and asked her to get our server. When they arrived, my daughter said her salad didn't tastes like it had any dressing. The server said it didn't, because she didn't ask for dressing (?). - (Nor, for that matter, did the server ask what kind of dressing she'd prefer...) I ordered the perch dinner with rice as the server wasn't sure what vegetables they had (could only come up with broccoli and lettuce (?)). Daughter ordered pasta, Son ordered chicken tenders and fries. Perch and rice was decent, though unlike every restaurant perch dinner ever, it was served without so much as a lemon slice or tartar sauce - I'd had requested those, but the server went to their secret hideout . My daughter's Greek pasta was okay, though she said it tasted like something you'd serve as a kids meal. The server said my son's tenders and fries were coming up. We waited and waited, my daughter and I started eating while he waited. We finished our meals and still no tenders - and of course the server was nowhere to be found in the interim. Finally the tenders came with profuse apologies. The server said there'd be no charge on these. The tenders were over-cooked and had a lot of breading/waste. I helped with the fries. They were crispy and would have been great, but the oil tasted a bit old like something you'd get at the carnival. The ambiance of the place is fair to decent, nice view of the lake, and I hate to give bad reviews to small, independent establishments, but if the shoe fits...added one star for the comped tenders. Bar staff that night was not great, waited too long to even get a cocktail and then took their time to come back to take my food order and the bar was not busy. The wine is awful/cheap. Could get better wine and stay away from California wines. The food has been pretty good so far and the beers from the tap are col which is great. I'm a guy that's all about customer service. That is not what prime 7 is about. My wife and I sat down at 8:45 waited till 9 without a sign of being helped. At that point I was fed up and got our own menus. Then at 9:30 we finally got somebody to put our order through of food and drinks. The drinks came out at 9:45, the food came out at 10:15 cold. The employees would socialize more than check up on their customers. The best part was I could count on two hands how many people there were at the restaurant. It Wasn't busy at all. Came here last week, and the food was awesome. I ordered nachos for meself, and was pleasantly surprised. Everything seemed to be fresh, and the sour cream and salsa were quite tasty. I ordered a wedge salad for the wife, and I ended up eating meself over the next few days. Again, the ingredients were fresh, and the bleu cheese dressing was surprisingly tasty. The service was good, and the restaurant is a nice place to sit down with friends. Their bar seemed to be somewhat busy for a weekday afternoon, and that's probably testament to their service over there. I do intend to frequent this place more often as summer comes. read more

The food was good and well priced. The fries were fabulous and the menu is well balanced . Bernard waited on us and he did an excellent job. This will be a goto spot for us in the future even though the locals at the bar were loud and annoying. Hopefully they'll get phased out as a more classy clientele moves in. Otherwise, well done. Great location with view of lake across the street. The interior is very nice. Was my first time here for dinner and comedy night. This not a comedy club as they do only a handful of shows in a year. Great looking bar with lots of TV's for sports viewing. The staff was great. Good selection of food on menu. We had steak tips for an appetizer and we split the perch dinner. Both were good. One comment I would make is I looked at the menu on their website and it was much more extensive than what was there at the restaurant. I don't know if they limit them for certain occasions like this comedy night, but they might wanna update their menu on their website to be more in line with what they actually serve in the restaurant. Just felt really comfortable at this place and I'm looking forward to kind of making this my go to place for just a drink to relax or to go out and have a nice dinner. For weeks now, we had planned to attend the comedy night at this restaurant that was held last night. When we first heard about it, we asked if they were taking reservations and we were told they were not and it was first come first serve. We called again Thursday night just to make sure we could not make reservations and again were told we could not. So we went a couple hours early. Then, when I was walking up I see reserved signs on all the tables and they were wide open two hours prior to the show starting. When we walked in, I was told that we would be unable to be seated. I told the staff member how funny it was that we called multiple times about a reservation and were denied yet all the tables in the main area had reserved signs. The staff member then told us that they were not taking reservations but the owner made reservations for the regulars. Clearly it was not first come first serve and only the owner was taking reservations for who he liked. There was multiple groups behind us that were told the exact same thing and also were unable to be seated hours prior to the show. I DO NOT recommend coming to this establishment for any type of show they have. They tell you first come first set yet the owner already reserved most of the tables for regulars. You won't stand a chance getting a table because they're all sitting there empty for the regulars read more

I really, really wanted to enjoy my first experience here. As soon as I walked in (with 4 family members), we didn't feel very welcomed by the hostess/waitresses. Our waitress seemed unhappy to be there and made little eye contact with any of us. 3 out of 5 meals were wrong, and I had to ask again for the fries that I ordered.. Not sure if our waitress was new & overwhelmed, but we barely saw her the whole 2 hours we were there. We would have asked for refills, but we didn't want to wait 40 minutes to get them. The wait between ordering AND receiving drinks, appetizer's, and the meal were just too long. Unfortunately we will not be going back. :( read more

My husband and I moved to the area 5 years ago and have talked about trying this restaurant for awhile. Last night we finally went there for dinner. We found the menu to be very extensive and there's a lot to choose from so I asked for a recommendation from our waitress Jessica. ( Jessica , by the way, gave excellent service.) Jessica said the chicken stir fry was amazing. I asked if it had fresh veggies or frozen. She said fresh and that it was a large portion. It didn't disappoint. It was AMAZING!! I must amend my review to say that while the service is still good and food has been good, the atmosphere is now more loud and bar-like. My husband and myself like a restaurant with comfortable atmosphere to eat without cursing and yelling from the bar end of the room and management doesn't ask them to "tone it down" it seems as tho they join in. I thought after over a year of being closed to renovate the "new restaurant," there would be more changes than just reupholstered booth seats. I would say it was a glorified Coney Island with a bar. The menu is massive and has every type of food possible. I'd rather you have a smaller menu and be really good at cooking all of it, then offer every food possible and have all of it be mediocre. Having worked in the industry in the past, I know that keeping that much product on site for inventory typically means most of the ingredients are frozen/prepackaged/processed. Stuffed cabbage soup was actually legit. I ordered the gyro plate and was disappointed that it was pre-sliced/packaged gyro meat. I thought Greek was the go-to since it had the most menu options, but I'll stick to fried appetizers, soup, and beer (if I go back). read more
