Been coming here for brunch for some time now and finally made it in for dinner. We popped in around 7/8 on Good Friday quickly found two seats at the bar. It was a busy Friday night but everything moved quickly. I didn't know what I wanted but after seeing so many plates of fish coming out of the kitchen I decided. Their fried fish has to be some of my favorite! I like a thicker breading and still want bigger fish and this was just that. Need to come back and try some burgers.

One of the best and tastiest brunch menus around. Especially the Eggs Benedict Florentine! It comes with crispy magical garlic kisses potato's. Every bite was pure joy.

Finally tried the Italian sub and Cali club! The sub HUGE and super delicious, but a bit pricey at $18. The California club was good but I don't think I'd get it again. I also tried the loaded tots and they were good, but not a very shareable size and needed more cheese. I think at this point, it's my mission to just try everything on the menu so I won't stop until I do!

I am giving this place three stars because I know its hard to operate in this environment and their wait staff is keeping a positive attitude and doing a great job. The drinks were great, my bloody mary had the perfect ratio of spice to liquor. The food however was pretty awful. The french onion soup looked amazing but tasted like a salt lick...could not finish. Pizza was ok but I am sure they use Ragu for the sauce on their regular and some cheap bbq on the Hawaiian. Loaded tater tots came with cheese whiz..not edible. My husbands steak was smothered in salt gravy..also not edible. My friends salads did look great, so maybe that's the trick here..order drinks and salad.

    Prices are great too!

Great staff and atmosphere. Live music on Saturdays and a killer atmosphere. Nachos are out of control.

Neighborhood bar look and feel with very good food, generous portions at a fair price. Service was fast and attentive.

Great atmosphere. I don't know who the chef is, but the tacos and calamari were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend!

I didn't know it was two restaurants in one. I seriously thought LiveBait they sold fishing things lol. The decor is interesting, not sure the look they are going fur. But it doesn't give Italian to me. But, it's a very cool pop chic design so it works well. Food was ok. The pizza was good, but it was saggy. Could have been more crispy. Next time I would ask for it to be more done. But, it had a good flavors. The pesto was nut free which works well. Lobster roll I want a fan. They used langostino lobster which is not even really lobster, more like a cousin. It said Connecticut style so I was hoping claw meat. The bread was very good. I barely tasted the aioli on it which sucked. My fries were suppose to have old bay seasoning but they didn't. The waitress was nice and so was the person at the door. The were very friendly sweet and accommodating people.

It's one space divided into 2 restaurants, Goomah, the Italian restaurant, and Live Bait, a seafood restaurant. We were given menus for both, though. We ordered a margherita pizza and added mushrooms to it and an antipasto salad. Both were delicious! The salami on the salad was shredded and fried, almost like meat croutons. They used thin slices of Parmesan cheese, and there were red peppers and possibly pimentos, as well as green olives. I hate olives, but my sister ate them. She said there were more olives than she usually sees in salad. The pizza had a thin but nicely crispy crust. All of the toppings were evenly placed on the pizza. Our server, Emily, was very friendly and efficient. There were only a few filled tables, so she took a little time to chat with us, which was nice. Our only real criticism was that, judging by the decor, they don't know what they want to be. There's a collection of rolling pins on one wall, a bank of t.v. sets on another wall as well as at the bar, what looks like a climbing wall (but I'm sure it's not) on another wall, the half walls have designs that look like graffiti, and the restaurant's name is in lights on the ceiling. All of this while Frank Sinatra and other Italian music plays in the background. But, restaurants are mainly about food, and theirs is very good. I am sure that we will be back!
