The team at heroes is nothing short of incredible. I'm still a relatively new cat co-mom and they always know how to make me feel comfortable and relaxed knowing my two boys are taken care of. The front desk girls are always so ready to help and make the experience as smooth as possible. Especially when there's stressed out cats involved. The lobby is always so clean, friendly, and inviting. The doctors and techs always treat my cats as if they are their own. I don't think i'd be as confident as a pet co-owner if it wasn't for Heroes!

And I showed him the automated visit notes that you get emailed to a visit showing that he's on trazodone. Makes sense, right? But not for Rashad. He said by showing him this proof that my dog was in these medicines I was being extremely condescending? What am I supposed to do, accept the fact that they didn't have it? He then said we need a doctor visit with the dog. I said why? It's not like dementia gets better. He replies "sir, I'm a certified medical professional" or something? Okay? Just because he woke up in the wrong side of the bed this morning doesn't have to make it any more stressful for someone dealing with a dementia dog. I waited an hour and never complained once. Marla (I think) was extremely nice at the receptionist and so was the doctor. This guy is one of those people that seems to take everything personal I guess. All I did was show the pill bottles and the visit summary!

They did the initial exam for my small dog, bloodwork, and some other things to prepare for her surgery which is booked next week! They were extremely helpful when explaining all of the information I needed on my dog's procedures and payment options, and the doctor and tech shared info on insurance options which I do already have luckily. Dr. Doug Mindlins are both incredibly patient, gentle, caring, and thorough veterinarians. Over the years, they've helped our cats through eye infections, cyst growth, heart murmurs, parasites, and more, and we always felt our cats were in very good hands. The pricing has also always felt very fair no hidden fee, and before any more expensive tests, they always took the time to explain and ask first, which we really appreciated. The vet assistants are also absolutely amazing and so kind, and the front desk staff are always warm, friendly, and super quick when we need receipts or SOAP notes. Overall, we've had such a wonderful experience here. We're honestly really sad that after leaving Fort Lauderdale, we won't be able to keep coming here and seeing everyone anymore. No matter what, we highly recommend Quad City Animal Clinic. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our cats all these years!

I have to say that part of the staff really seems to care but my experience with the vet Raluca Anghel was not the best. She pressured me and made me feel horrible as I tried to decide what to do about the situation. First she recommended me to leave my dog overnight for a cost of over 5k than when I said I wouldn't leave my baby there she started saying my dog was not responding to the treatment and very quickly her new alternative was euthanasia. So if I had paid 5k to leave my dog there would I pay 5k to have her euthanized the next morning? The whole interaction with her was awful and it was just not worse because I was basically unable to think straight. I left with a 2k bill and without my baby. When I asked for the exams she said she did, they sent me a few things but even though I paid for a ultrasound I didnt get any images. I emailed them about it and they say they didnt save it. Why would I pay for something and they would not keep it to share with me if needed? When I emailed them questioning I receive no response. One disappointment after another. I have other dogs so I already did my research on other Emergency vets in the area and I hope you do as well instead of taking your loved pet here.

But HEY she is the veterinarian and she knows best right???? WHO AM I TO QUESTION HER. Well be prepared the partner emergency Veterinary Clinic charges for Clover cesarean section was unbelievable $7800, in addition to $589. For blood tests and X-rays . The price was unbelievable unreasonable affordable, we are talking about over, $9,000k, we are talking about a price range of $3900 with veterinary Dc Jones to partner emergency clinic of $9,000K we taking about double the cos. I walked out of the partner emergency clinic with Clover (French Bulldog) Thinking that my precious dog was going to die at home with me. This was an error that was unacceptable, unforgivable from a Veterinary Doctor that is an "expert" in reproduction and care so much for animals. I had been to every appointment, I did all the tests to make sure Clover health was outstanding and the puppies too. Not taking the necessary steps to plan accordingly the cesarean sections to avoid it happening during the weekend especially when the I the owner pointed out to doctor Jones all the symptoms that my dog was having since Wednesday and Thursday (temperature dropped, not eating, nesting, scratching unstoppable) it's was negligent from a veterinary that new the risk of waiting to the next week. Clover temperature never dropped to 98 as she said that clover temperature needs to be her temperature was always 99.4 that was the lowest it dropped. Thank Goodness my daughter found some other emergency vet clinics that had a concussion mind and did care for their 4 legged patients and took Clover Immediately. The puppies were in distress because they were already passed their time to be born and the emergency cesarean section was done. Again it's unfortunate that a veterinary that is supposed to be an expert in REPRODUCTIVE VETERINARY was there but her brain and knowledge was not there to make the correct decisions at the time needed. Doctor Jones mind was in her vacation trip that is supposed to be in September and we still in August, so many times she asked her staff is she is going to be here or not for the cesarean? If she is so anxious about leaving on vacation she needs to RETIRE COMPLETELY her bad decisions almost KILLED MY DOG, or she just simply doesn't care for her 4 legged patients and only the money. Ingrid Mangual Clovers mother note: I found another emeregency clinic and their price was as affordable as doctors Jones 2nd quote and included the spayed

Please read this entire review if you truly love your pets…read more Writing this is one of the hardest things my family has ever had to do. We brought our beloved sphynx cat, Gary, and our toy poodle into this clinic expecting compassion, professionalism, and care. Instead, we left devastated and questioning everything that happened inside those walls. From the moment the doctor walked in, something felt off. He talked fast, barely listened, constantly interrupted us, and gave off more of a salesman vibe than someone genuinely concerned about our animals. We tried explaining what had been happening at home with Gary, but it felt rushed and ignored. Our poodle was first diagnosed with a UTI and immediately given antibiotics and a B12 shot BEFORE the test results even came back. Later, the test showed she did NOT have a UTI. So why were medications already pushed before confirming anything? On top of that, they tried telling us vaccines were overdue until we asked them to double check their own records... and suddenly they realized the shots had already been done. But nothing compares to what happened to Gary. We brought our baby boy in alive, alert, and stable. He brought Gary in the back and said he wanted to sedate him for an X Ray after the sedation took place The doctor literally told us Gary looked stable and could have another 2-4 years with proper checkups. They brought Gary to us as he was waking up . Minutes later, everything turned into a nightmare. Gary suddenly began panicking and thrashing uncontrollably. A nurse rushed him away while yelling for the doctor. Moments later we were asked if they could perform CPR. Of course we said yes -- he was family to us. Then the doctor came back and simply said: "I'm sorry... your cat died." Our entire family was shattered. And while we were still standing there in complete shock and grief, they started discussing the bill. Then we noticed something that made the entire situation even more disturbing: They charged us for CPR. Think about that for a second. So if we didn't approve the charge, what was the alternative? Just let him die? To us, this experience felt cold, transactional, rushed, and completely centered around money instead of care. We walked in with a cat expecting answers and walked out carrying heartbreak we will never fully recover from. This is not some irrational emotional rant from a pet owner. This is a grieving family warning others to ask questions, slow things down, trust your instincts, and never ignore that gut feeling when something feels wrong. We trusted this clinic with a member of our family. We will regret that decision forever. 10000000% please be safe

That is...until I started getting booked with Dr. Rey. My cat has had a lot of allergy and health issues, so he really hates the vet. He takes a little more patience, some Gabapentin, and understanding. I've had many vets be able to examine him fine. Even Dr. Marlar told me that she didn't need my cat to be medicated to come in. But then again, she's obviously a cat person and cats can tell. Dr. Rey treated my cat with disdain. She told me to drug my cat twice before coming, something I've never been told to do. When I only gave him one dose (normal for him) she said "Why did you not drug him twice? I wrote it out for you...see? Right here??" In a nasty tone. I was embarrassed to be spoken to like a child like that. I'm a customer and loving cat parent trying to do my best. On another visit she told me "we can't check his vitals or weight, because he's being so nasty and I won't risk injury for my staff." Isn't it your job to put animals in distress at ease? Every time I I've gone here with Dr. Rey, I leave embarrassed and like IM in the wrong. I decided to stop coming here and went to Victoria park animal hospital. My cat was calm, cool, collected. He was wrapped in a calming pheromone blanket and they took everything slow with him. The way you HAVE to handle cats. Dr. Rey clearly doesn't have the patience for that. Last note, to add salt to the wound, when we were in between vets...they wouldn't approve my cat's prescription food until I called. Who denies prescription cat food when I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars there and they explicitly wrote "do not change his diet" in his records???
