My wife called Hertrich Ford of Milford Inquiring About A 2020 Lincoln Corsair to see if they would be willing to sell it for $18,000 CASH TAX,TITLE, FEE'S OUT THE DOOR Price. They were asking $20,506.00 i told Mike Kelly I only have 18 thousand. I explained to Mike that me and my wife have been looking for a Lincoln and other kind of vehicles for the past 2 months now and it has been a complete disaster every single time and we have been lied to so many times about the vehicle condition and we get there and it's not what they claim every single Mike said that he would be able to take $19,125. I explained to him that is the vehicle in perfect condition and it drives good and there's no issues wrong with it he reiterated to me that the vehicle is in tip top shape and there is nothing wrong with it at all I also let Mike know that I live in northern Delaware it is a 75 MI trip down there and is 75 Mi trip back plus $40 in gas there and back plus $10 in toes there and back my wife is almost 9 months pregnant and is due any day now. Me and my wife took the trip down in January 12th 2026 it's a 3-hour drive literally 3 hours. A hour and a half down & A hour and a half back. My sales rep name is Ron, me and my wife both met Mike Kelly and Ron when we got there and you know we seen the vehicle very clean beautiful and Ron and Mike were very nice me and my wife's thought we hit the jackpot you know our 2-month searching for a vehicle disaster was finally f****** over. Ron tossed me the keys and me and the pregnant wife thought we found our vehicle nice lincoln suv, we drove the truck around for about 20 minutes and we completely fell all the way in love with the truck right and you know so we took the truck for a test drive just me and her we took it out for about 20 minutes. We were so serious about this vehicle we wanted to just by the vehicle out right with no payment at all since this would be our 3rd child now so. I Get buying a used vehicle means that the vehicle comes as is with a 30-day thousand mile warranty but me and her only had one issue we have a newborn that will be driving in that vehicle all the time and I refuse to put my family and my newborn baby girl In Harm's Way because I'm going 50 to 60 maybe even 70 miles an hour and I go to slam on the brakes the brakes are just grinding against the rotors this was my only problem with this vehicle I went back and I spoke with Fran about it my sales rep and I let him go ahead and drive it and he felt exactly what I was talking about and so I told him I'm absolutely serious about buying this vehicle but I cannot put my family or my kids in a vehicle where I go to stop and the vehicle won't stop like that like right now I'm driving a minivan and that thing stops immediately this Lincoln Corsair would not break immediately if there was a vehicle in front of me that slammed on its brakes out of nowhere I would wind up hitting the person and I explained this to run I said to him three times on January 12th that night before me and her left to go on our way back home cuz it was about 7:00 at night when we left from down there in Milford he reassured me that he would get his guys to look at the brakes and rotors the next morning when he came in at noon time and I said listen I want we want the vehicle me and her love it we're dead set on it our only issue is we're not going to put our family and our kids in a vehicle where it will not stop and he promised me that he would get it taken care of and he asked me to put a $1000.00 Dollar deposit down to make sure that they would hold the vehicle until the next day January 13th I had to go ahead and buy insurance which had costed me $300 and $363.00 from Progressive. I went ahead and got the policy and I sent it to run and so he can start all the paperwork and the tag and all that and the titles so I asked him before I came you know my hour and a half drive down there if he had got his guys to go ahead and look at the vehicle to make sure you know that the brakes and rotors were good he told me him and his Tech person took it on a test drive and they don't feel nothing wrong with it I've been driving a long time right and I know when you're driving a 20/20 vehicle that's 20/20 vehicle is going to stop immediately there ain't going to be no grinding or any of that and that's exactly what what's happening I told Ron that I want the vehicle but I cannot spend 19 thousand dollars on a vehicle that is not safe f9r my family. So he asked me what time I'll be there I told him that I'd be there in about an hour or two now I got down there about 20 minutes after telling him and that I'll be down there in about 2 hours I put my hand on that engine and they said they took that vehicle for a test drive with his mechanic and that was an absolute lie it's sad that a place would want to lose out on a 19,000 sale because they don't want to fix some brakes or rotors so when I got there I told him I said let me take it for a test driv read more

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this dealership. I recently purchased a used truck here and they went above and beyond my expectations. My salesman was Brian K. and he made the buying process seamless and about as quick as you're gonna get. They had to keep the truck for a few days to do some repairs, which I was aware of. I found the truck online and purchased it right away. Upon picking it up Brian informed me that it had a small chip in the windshield. He knew that I wanted to take the truck home and he told me to have the windshield replaced and send the dealership the bill. Exactly 1 week after having the windshield replaced a check showed up, as promised. During this time an oil dipstick tube also came UPS. I was unaware that they were even sending this. The finger loop on the original was broken but it did not effect the seal or the oil level. Finally, when my tags and registration showed up at the dealership they sent them 2 day UPS to me, as I live in Maryland. From finding the vehicle on line to buying it to having it tagged and registered in my driveway, the entire process was a pleasure. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

Nice people but any work you want done on your vehicle or collision repair will take much longer than necessary. I was told multiple times that they would let me know when my vehicle would be finished. Not once did they call and had to call multiple times to get any update. Buyer beware dealing with Hertrich Ford in Milford. They fail to honor the extended service contracts that they push on you when you buy a new vehicle. Our 2018 Ford Raptor had 2 major internal engine failures that ford covered because it is a known problem with the Ford eco boost engine and the hydraulic chain tensioner and cam phasers. The last claim was 10,000 miles ago. This the 3rd related claim and should be covered under the extended warranty. This time the oil pump failed and the engine lost oil pressure making the engine seize while driving on I95. The oil pump is run on the same chain system as the last two failures. There are 10,000 miles left on the extended warranty and they are refusing to cover the claim because they say there is "sludge" in the motor. This is a generic term used by insurance companies trying to deny insurance claims. Of course the oils does not look good when an oil pump fails and the motor seizes. There was no mention of any issues at the last warranty claim 10,000 miles ago which would have been clearly visible and should have been noted. There are too many reputable Ford dealerships in the area to waste your time and money with Hertrich Ford. Do your research first, there are countless claims of fraud against them! I would recommend anyone else that is having issues to contact Ford corporate directly. They take these reports seriously and it will directly effect their standings among the other dealerships. Hopefully this review saves other from being screwed by Hertrich Ford. I have been in the automotive industry for over 25 years building competition engines and driving professionally in several racing series. I have a thorough understanding of engines. More so than the insurance claims adjuster behind the desk. Their job is only to try to deny claims assuming most people will give up. Hertrich represents these warranties to be equal to the original factory warranty! After weeks of searching for a truck, I found the one I wanted at this dealership. I spoke with the salesman over the phone about the details to confirm that it was still available. I live out of state so I also confirmed that there would be an issue purchasing, shipping and registering the car out of state. I was told that the truck had a 5k markup, which is normal given the market, and that I would need to cover the cost of shipping the truck, which was about $2000. It just so happened that I was flying into Baltimore for about 36 hours to watch the Ravens game, and the salesman asked if I would be able to drive up to the dealership (about a 2 hour drive one way). I told him that would be unlikely, and asked what people do if they are out of state who may not be flying in to a drivable distance to the dealership. He told me that they either have a dealership employee meet the customer with the paperwork, or they fedex. Given my short trip taking place on a Sunday, and with a flight Monday, neither driving to the dealership or meeting a dealership employee worked, but luckily sending the docs via fedex was given to me as an option. I then gave them my information to run my credit, which was approved. The finance manager called me to inform me that Ford gave me a 6.79% interest rate, but that because they do so many loans through Ford and have a good relationship with them, he could get it down to a 6.29%, which sounded reasonable and I was fine with. He then asked me when I was coming into the dealership and I told him I didn't have time and that I live out of state. He said well we can only sign documents in house, which surprised me because I was given three options for signing docs, and one was via fedex. After going back and forth they said there was nothing they could do unless I flew back to the east coast and went into the dealership or met them within 2 hours of their dealership so an employee could meet me. They said they'd let me know if anything changed. The next day I followed up with both the salesman and the finance manager, and neither one text me back or returned my call. I decided to call the general manager of the dealership to explain the situation and to figure out why I was told they could fedex paperwork, but then be told I had to be in person. He just said that's how they do it and it's not their problem, if I want the truck I need to fly back there and these trucks are going fast enough that it's now up to me. The entire experience was frustrating because had I been told that I would need to be in person to sign documents I never would have proceeded with the process or let them run my credit. Additionally, the customer service and communication were poor from the beginning. I understand that cars are flying off lots faster than they ever have, but customer service shouldn't decline just because they feel like they hold all the cards. I ended up finding the same truck at a dealership in Oklahoma. They got me approved with Ford, but at a 5.79% interest rate. So in addition to being misled about the process of signing paperwork, they acted like they were doing me a favor by lowering my interest rate, which was still higher than what Ford really approved me for. They have now listed the truck for more than what they were going to sell it to me for, which makes me wonder if they were being so difficult because they realized they could sell it for more than what I was going to buy it for. In summary, it was a terrible experience dealing with this dealership. I never would have let them run my credit multiple times had I known they were going to make me fly out to them in order to sign paperwork, and that should have been the first thing they said when I expressed interest in the vehicle and asked about buying it out of state rather than saying they would fedex the paperwork. read more

Don't buy a car here! They took advantage of my daughter and sold her a car she couldn't afford. Then 4 months later, the battery died, and they tried to charge her $200 for a new one! Nothing like taking your car into Hertrichs 6 times because you loose all steering while driving and the service department continues to tell you nothing is wrong with your vehicle!!!. This has past being an issue and is now in a very very dangerous area. My steering locks up while driving and Hertricks keeps saying nothings wrong! This company has serious issues and it will be their fault when something bad happens. I need my car for work it's my sole transportation. Someone at Hertricks needs to figure something out. Most of the time I leave bad comments when needed and forget the good times. However I had a car fire and the insurance company took my car to winner ford in dover to see how much damage was done. Their review is in the works but after 5 weeks of lies the insurance company took it to Hertrich Ford in Milford and I talked with the service writer Ben. My mom and I were traveling from Philly to Virginia when we heard scraping under the car. We discovered it was the oil filter cover and two bolts were missing. We stumbled upon this dealership, willing to pay whatever in order to get it fixed. The staff at the service center were so helpful and understanding. The mechanic looked at it right away and fixed it until we could get it looked at in Virginia. They didn't charge us anything, and we were back on the road in only a few minutes. Solid experience. In particular, the 'beyond the call' work of Ellis from the sales team. Very patient, thorough and refreshingly honest about everything. We hit a few administrative bumps in the road, but Ellis, in each case, knew exactly what to do in an instant, reached out to the proper resources, both inside and outside of the dealership and kept things moving along. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. While Aaron was a terrific salesman who really took his time and listened to my needs in purchasing a new car, his manager, whose name I believe is Jim, embodied every sleazy car seller stereotype. He did not listen to me, spoke down to me because I was a woman, and as I was walking out of the dealership suddenly decided that he could negotiate the price of the car, though I had been there for three hours. July 18, 2016, we were on vacation from PA, with 3 grandchildren, when the air compressor went out on our 2014 Ford Flex. Hertrich was 6 miles away from our location. Upon calling the Svc Dept and explaining the situation, and our maintenance agreement, we were told they were fully booked and couldn't look at the vehicle until July 27. There was no offer to help us find another dealership or repair facility. My fiance' and I had been looking into other vehicles and I had my heart set on a 2014 Ford Escape from another dealership. They even let me take the car home for the night...probably to secure the deal regardless of the numbers. Well, as much as I loved the car the numbers just weren't right for me and I wasn't comfortable. We headed to the dealership and were greeted almost immediately by a gentleman named Ducky. He was funny and very down to earth from the moment we introduced ourselves. He took me to my car and was very knowledgeable in a way that we hadn't experienced previously. He knew all the ins and outs of my car and showed me what all the buttons and fancy parts were for. It was very comforting to know that I was working with someone who knew what he was doing. The service that we received from Ducky Sheetz and John Lytle was incredible and I have never experienced that before from a dealership. I had an amazing experience working with this dealership. I had requested more info on a vehicle and was contacted within 24 hrs by a salesman. The salesman I worked with, Aaron, was amazing to work with. After our first contact I told him I worked night shift and instead of calling me with any updates he emailed me and allowed me to respond when I was not asleep. I was working with Aaron on purchasing a vehicle and was about to purchase it when it was sold by another salesman the day prior. After I was told it was sold, the GM made me an offer through Aaron on a newer model that I couldn't turn down. As soon as the vehicle arrived I spent a couple hours waiting for the vehicle to be prepped and cleaned and was handed the keys to my new vehicle. I couldn't be happier with Aaron or the GM.
