I needed a different drop-off location from the Atlanta Int'l Airport…read more After googling & going to 3 different locations, they were all closed & without any signage or further instructions. I became very displeased. I knew about PDK Airport for private flights, yet didn't know the Hertz location was open to the public. Once I entered the Airport, I got turned around a little bit. I saw a Gentleman detailing a car in the parking lot who guided me to the location. He also ended up being one of the other employees working the counter...Hey Mr. George. Cee-Cee, the employee at the counter gave me a welcoming smile & stated she'd be right with me while she finished up with other customers. My turn & Cee-Cee got my info, inspected the vehicle (the Nissan Rogue rides nice & is great on gas) & closed me out all within a few minutes. I'll be renting from this location from here on out due to the expedient & highly-rated customer service. The counter is located inside the Globe Building, located to the left as soon you turn into the Airport.

The lack of transparency ahead of reserving the vehicle is infuriating. I would've gone to another rental location if I had known they didn't have what I reserved. PLUS they gave me a car that had been smoked in previously... Once I got to the location, they were very apologetic. But too little too late. Don't give the option to reserve a vehicle you don't have!

Then stated that the Bronco is new and would be comparable to the luxury car that you wanted. I said really they upgraded it like that. He said yes. This was the first lie he told. The second lie he said was that gas is $4.30 on the outside of the airport and if you prepaid for gas it's only $4.25. The highest gas price I saw was $4.09 and the Bronco didn't even have the basis safety features on it. Don't use Avis car rentals they bait you with a good deal for a good car then switch cars to something uncomfortable and lie to get you to purchase more items.

I always liked this location but as of just morning I have gotten tired of it. I made reservations here before to only be told that we have no cars as I was told just morning by the older lady there which seems nice but has no business acumen. She told me even though I have a reservation for for a smaller vehicle and the only thing I have is a suv. She stated that she has to charge me an up charge to get the suv because that is not what my reservation was for. I have rented from this location from time to time since the guy open the doors here, it is black owned. You accommodate your customers by giving them a vehicle even when you dont have the car in the class that they booked. This location has no loyalty for me as a customer but I have loyalty for it and I say this because this location has always been upwards of $40.00 more for a rental than other rentals using the same class vehicles. The lady here at the branch said to me, you dont want to pay the difference and I said to her that I had budgeted this amount for this rental because I was coming right back on monday and rent again for an additional two weeks but she wasnt hearing my concern. Every car rental agency that I have been to has always made it right by giving the customer a vehicle be it that they have to upgrade you for free or apologize for not having your size vehicle and ask do you mind down grading. Im missing two days of work because of this both saturday and sunday no way to work more to uber than to rent.
