I am a frequent flyer, so I am always renting from many companies. I have used USAVE a few times and every time its sub bar to the rest of them and I fail to complain, but this last weekend I was in Tampa for the weekend, I wanted to surprise my wife with this great deal I found through Priceline. $20.0/ day, I had to prepay to get it which is fine. Of course, you don't know what you are going to get. Ok, First surprise, Its a Mitsubishi Mirage, very small car, lawn more engine, its fine. Second surprise, Oh you need to pay for the Toll, ok. Third surprise, You need to have the right coverage, I have full coverage on 3 cars, no one ever asked me to look at the declaration page, so of course the $20.00 / a day deal turned to $200.00. I was fuming, I wanted to cancel, Guess what? Forth surprise, you can't cancel. I told this young man (who was on a phone call the whole time he was talking to me with his ear buds on) I don't want this to turn salesy I need this and that, I looked at my wife standing outside and felt pressured to get a car since it took us 2 Ubers and $75.00 to get there, my mistake I thought it would be at the car rental building but it wasn't, and we drove from Brandon, FL where the hotel was. I am very upset by this type of customer service. This never happens with any other company I rent from. Very shady way of doing business. I will take this everywhere unless I hear from somebody. My reservation was for a standard SUV for seven days, with pickup on June 30 at 12:00 PM and return on July 7 at 12:00 PM. At 11:00 AM on July 7, I contacted Blake, the representative who assisted me during pickup, to request an extension because my personal vehicle was still being serviced. I also asked for an adjustment since I had reserved and paid for a standard SUV but was given a compact SUV instead. Blake stated that the compact SUV rate was $260 per week and $36.88 for each additional day. He told me I had been charged a weekly rate of $280 and that I was owed $21.67. I explained multiple times that my receipt clearly shows I was charged $295 per week for a standard SUV. Using Blake's own quoted compact rate of $260 per week, the correct difference is $35. Blake's calculation reflected the midsize SUV rate of $285, not the standard SUV rate I paid for. Despite repeated clarification, he refused to make the $35 adjustment. I sent Blake a photo of my receipt, which states: "1 week @ $295.00 / week - Standard SUV - Chevrolet Equinox or similar," totaling $320.24 after taxes and fees, plus a $300 deposit. Blake claimed he could not view the photos. When I requested the manager's name and contact information, he stated that he was the manager. When I asked for his supervisor's information, he refused to provide it. I also checked Enterprise's current posted rates on July 7, 2026. The standard SUV rate is $305 per week, and the compact SUV rate is $270 per week--a $45 difference. I am only requesting the $35 difference based on the rates Blake himself provided. Neither the posted rates nor Blake's quoted rates support the $21.67 adjustment he offered.

When we approached the counter we were told that our reserved vehicle was not available and was told we needed to go to a larger vehicle at an upcharge as well. I called customer services and they could care less. The employee that was helping, we asked to speak with a manager he said he was. I asked to speak to his boss and was told he is out of the country for a month??? Asked for his bosses boss and was told he didn't know who that was or was not able to get ahold of. I asked if there was an accident or catastrophic accident who would he call. He said no one he would just go home. Very poor service will never rent from them again. I don't know why I was treated so pourly. Considering I have been having trouble with the last two vehicles I have had. I was explaining to her what I was going thru and she completely disregarded anything I said. I left the place in tears. My car is in the shop for a few weeks and I all I wanted was to be comfortable in a vehicle. I highly don't recommend going to this location, let alone the car company.. very disappointed. The first car I had was an electric mustang. The only vehicle they had available. Mind you I have never had an electric vehicle before so I was completely unsure how to charge it or operate it and I did not receive any assistance with that. The car had something wrong with it and I'm pretty sure they knew that already. I worked an overnight shift and came out to the car and it wouldn't even switch gears for me to drive it.. I waited 2 1/2 hours for a tow truck and when the tow truck got there, they couldn't even get in the parking garage to get me. I then had to wait for an Uber that I paid out-of-pocket for to drive me 30 minutes to the airport to get another vehicle. The second vehicle I received has an issue with one of the tires. I assumed that it was just low on pressure maybe because the weather change but after putting air in it multiple times I see that there is an issue with the tire. I have had the worst experience and all I wanted was to get a car that I would be comfortable in.

He also started a waiting list for people who need cars to evacuate and as the cars came in, all morning he personally called people on the list to help them get out. This gentleman went way above and beyond and state to get as many people as he could cars while he himself was facing another oncoming hurricane. Now THAT is great service!

Transmission fluid was covering my back window! Had to pay $4000 in parts and labor to fix. On top of new transmission valve body, had to replace the radiator, replace catalytic converters and more. Mechanic says there is no way that they were not aware of the many problems with this vehicle! If you are even thinking about purchasing a car from this place, DON'T!
