My son is at Coastal and his car wouldnt start at all on Wednesday. I was referred by DARRELLS BODY SHOP ( ANOTHER GREAT GROUP WHO PROVIDED SOLID ADVICE). I called DART's and spoke with Samantha (VERY HELPFUL!!) who told us to get the car there ASAP and she would do her best to have techician look it over before the end of day. Mind you, I spoke with her around 1130am on Wednesday. Vehicle arrived at their facilty around 1245pm and by the end of the day we had a fare estitmate (discounts for CCU student or AAA whichever is best she said). Vehicle work was completed as promised the next day by late morning for my son to pick up. They handled all paperwork through secure texting and document signing and payment. It was running perfectly…read morefine, Zero Issues, it cranked up perfectly fine, i drive about 40 feet and it just shuts off, turns over fine but Zero fire or ignition. Speedily, Dart comes to recue with a Tow. They put the most elaborate diagnostic machine i have ever seen on it. The desk guy tells me, "We THINK its the High pressure oil valve." Oh no, i think, that's inside the engine. I should have said NO, i can't let you partially disassemble an engine on "we think" but i didn't cause i was leaving in 3 days for 4 months. Gave them permission, took about 9 hrs to disassemble and find out , Nope, that's not the problem. Asked permission to drain oil to check for contaminents, came back an hour later with, "Yes, you have metal in your oil, engine is shot, minimum of $35,000.00 for a new engine" I said, are you crazy, i ain't spending that. I got the guy directly behind them to tow to his shop, Twisted Wrench. A week later, he says, Yep, engine is shot. Finally got them to deliver my truck to my house, Twisted Wrench double charged me for the tow cause he was trying to steal at a cheep cheep price from me. I GOT a true diesel mechanic to fix it. ONCE he put back together the disassembled engine Dart left me with, he fixed it. He said, with those trucks, it's usually 4 things that go wrong 1) Low pressure oil valve 2) High pressure oil valve and i forget the other 2 things. All mine was, the $75 OEM low pressure valve and because my truck is lifted, that valve is right in front of your face. WHY THE HECK didn't Dart try a $75 part 1st....Stupid and Retarded if you ask me. By them missing the $75 part, they charged me almost $1,300.00 and left me with a partially disabled engiine that cost me lots to reassemble. I wouldn't recommend them to Anyone!!!! I asked the desk guy for a refund, he asked the owner, He replied NO! For Dart services I would recommend NO!!!!

Another awesome job by Rob's Auto Body…read more This is the third time we have had to use a body shop in 3 years. This time on my '24 RAM Rebel. It was backed into and the front bumper was damaged. Rob's gave me a reasonable estimate to have it re-powder coated. But found out after they removed it, the Powder Coater could not re-create the texture. So Rob's ordered a new number for it. The cost of the new bumper was very close to the repair, so it was ordered and installed. I am very pleased with the quality of the repair. And they returned my truck to me cleaner than it was when I dropped it off. The staff is pleasant and professional. And they kept me up to speed on the repair by contacting me regularly. JR was my Service Writer, and did an excellent job. Like I said earlier, this is the 3rd time we have had to use them for our vehicles in 3 years. I hope we are done, but if someone else damages one of our vehicles, I will not hesitate to use Rob's again. Attached is the repaired front end of our RAM. And our Durango. We had to have that repaired after a Deer lost a game of "Dodge the car".

When I told people at my job what had occurred, several recommended Rob's Auto Body for the repair. So after the at-fault driver's insurance company conceded liability, I went to Rob's for an estimate. The gentleman who estimated my vehicle was very professional and thorough. To the point, he explained what he believed the damages were, but would not provide a final assessment until they could get my vehicle up on a lift. The down side, because they are so popular, and my vehicle was drivable, the first available appointment they had was six weeks from that date. I agreed wait and let them do the repairs. Prior to me dropping my SUV off, they called to verify my appointment. This also verified they had all the parts in stock. And even though the insurance company had approved a rental car, they contacted both the insurance company and rental car company and arranged for them to pick me up at their shop. They called me with any questions, and updated me on the repair. My vehicle was ready on the agreed to date, and the job was excellently done. The replaced parts fit as well as the original parts did. And you cannot see any difference in the paint. The application and color matching is factory appearing. Even the cleaning and washing after the repair was flawless. I'm picky, but I could not find a smudge, streak, or water spot on the entire vehicle. No Mia aligned panels. No orange peel in the paint. I know American made vehicles, but I'm not a auto body tech. I have no idea what good body work should cost. But of course I received a copy of the estimate and bill when I picked up my Durango. The cost appeared to be quite reasonable. And the bill was very detained in explanation. When leaving, I was going to take the rental car, with my wife following me in our vehicle. Jeannie at Rob's asked for the keys to the rental. She advised, we will call and have them pick it up. I was OK with that also. Then, during the return process, I was told the rental wasn't actually due until May 6th. This was never communicated to me in advance. Because of that, I left work early to return the vehicle unnecessarily--only to now be told I need to return again on Tuesday, causing me to miss work twice due to your lack of communication. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. I expect better communication and basic courtesy.

My Durango is 7 months old and had two cracks already. I am not the type who likes to be bothered when I'm off and home, but I'm glad I opened the door this time. The rep explained who he was, and why he was in the area. I explained to him, that one crack had recently been repaired and filled by another glass co. The second I had just received a week ago. I had already got the repair approved through my insurance company, and had an appt for the 7th. He explained that they were a smaller local company, which I prefer. And they were approved to do work through my insurance carrier. (I told him who my ins company was). He had their number in his phone. He called, and in less than 5 min I had changed from the other company to Showtime to have my windshield replacement done. I arrived ten min before my appt and they took my vehicle right in. The shop waiting area is bright and clean. Just like advertised they have free snacks, plus video games, a pool table, large video monitors on wall, I'm sure I'm forgetting something. The tech who worked on my SUV kept me updated on the process. He was polite and professional. (I must apologize, I do not remember his name, but he is from the west and loves off road Baja racing). In a little over an hour my vehicle was returned to me, repaired and with all of the traffic safety sensors recalibrated and working properly. My vehicle was neat inside, no trash or dirt left in it. Other than a few fingerprint near the rear view mirror, their was no evidence of a repair. (I only noticed this cause as my girls say, I'm a freak about clean glass). I have driven the vehicle for the last couple of days, and it has rained almost constantly since the repair. No water leaks, nor any wind noise or undue sounds. Our Durango looks like it did when I took it off the dealers' lot the day I bought it. I'm am very pleased with Showtime and their work.
