Previously I've done my own oil changes, but I simply didn't want to do it this time. I searched around and the nearest location I could find that could fit me in was 20+ miles away and it wasn't clear that it would be done until later tonight. Then, I realized I should check with Lynden Lube. A quick call showed that I could drive up and they'd fit me in. I drove the 10 minutes to the location and entered a very nice welcome area. I was greeted and when I explained what I needed they took down my information and took my key. I sat down, booted up my computer, figuring I could get some internet work done. It seemed that I'd barely logged into their guest wifi (nice touch) and opened my browser, when they called my name. I went up to the counter and the service was completed! Synthetic blend oil change, new filter, checked and topped off all my fluids (ie, washer fluid, brake fluid, etc...not gas :-) They even vacuumed the inside of my car! :-) The total price was equal to the larger chain places, but done in a fraction of the time! I was in and out in under 30 minutes and my CRV was happy once again! I highly recommend Rob and Lynden Lube & Auto! When I called to book I mentioned 4 people and the woman said we'd need _____ as a vehicle. I don't know what their vehicles are so I don't know what that means. We've always had the same car pick us up, even when there were 4 of us. We've never needed any particular type of taxi vehicle as we've ridden in both conventional taxis or minivan taxis. A towncar would have been fine as well, as we've done that as a family. They showed up on time (as always) in a giant SUV. As someone with a bum knee and auto immune issues which can make me really stiff, it was actually difficult to climb in and out of. We got to the airport in a matter of minutes as it was a 2.6 mile trip. I almost choked when he quoted me $60. We usually paid about $20-$23 and that was when we lived across town (8 miles) from the airport. The driver indicated that's their minimum charge now. I don't know if we were being hustled or what, but I would never intend to again pay $60 + tip for a 5 minute ride. I don't know if that charge was higher because of the SUV or what. Would not use again at those rates and would suggest if you are booking you confirm the rate. Evergreen had always been about the same as every other service so it didn't cross my mind to confirm a price, especially with us being so close to the airport.

Apparently I must not have ended the wash correctly so it timed out at $15. He issued a full credit even though he rightfully could have charge for the 6-7 minutes I used the service. Had an interesting experience at this car wash. I was out of town on business and had a rental car…read more The previous day, I had to visit a client down a long dirt road. So...the car was dirty. I was staying at a nearby hotel and saw this place. Figured it would be quick and painless. Well...it was, sort of. The easy part is picking your wash level and paying. After that, you self-guide your car into place. On the day I went, there is no light telling you when to stop. Instead there is a loud horn. I heard that and wondered if I went too far, so I backed up a bit. Seemed to work as it started. Then it soaked my car, covered it with soap and then...stopped. Nothing. I tried going up, nothing, back, nothing, sitting, nothing...now what? Well, figured it was best to drive around front and ask the cashier to help. Apparently, the manager was already on his way so when I got up front, he was in the back fixing it. Anyway, he was able to fix whatever happened and let me know to immediately stop when I hear the horn. So, re-enter and wash. Worked great! But, you will need to bring towels with you or drive pretty fast when you are done. The blow dryers at the end get some water off but not as much as others. Overall, it worked, cleaned the car but really didn't dry the car. So, bring towels, stop when you hear the horn and...enjoy!!!
