The poor young man was waiting on mus, answering the phone and then running to bring us our cars. More staffing would be helpful. No fault of the employee as he had an indecisive customer, a person on hold and had to go and get the man's rent a car. The staff member kept his cool the whole time. I called to extend my rental. I was on hold for 1/2 hr. I hung up and did it on line. Easy peasy. read more

I was very impressed by the subtle approach the company at Hertz has taken, with their lovely little office! There are some nice seats in the waiting area, and if you make an appointment there is a free tour of the new Tesla EV Model 3 2023 available, Definitely check it out because for $400, an entire week with a super car is possible, I went through Uber. horrible...need to hire people that have a brain. rented a car for a week on a Friday. found the car needed repairs didn't need it. Saturday we retuned car less than 24 hours and was told for one day it $245.00. vs a week at $320.00. when questioned the price all the kid said that's what his system said. after 20 minutes of arguing with him he went back in and changed it from a week to one day then the price dropped to $63.00. Great experience at this particular store. My girlfriend and I needed to rent a car at the last minute. Got here 10 minutes to closing on a Saturday afternoon, but the staff member was kind and courteous and genuinely cared about our needs! We were in and out in about 15 minutes! Awesome service! Very poor experience. Don't rely on Hertz if you actually need a car when you reserve one. The morning of pickup they told me no car available even though I had a confirmed reservation. This was a Saturday. Not open Sunday. We'll see what happens on Monday. read more

Split the corporation from the franchise owners here. Staff that works the local offices are friendly, helpful and work real hard to fix the corporate screw ups. I've rented a lot from here over the years, my company will only pay for compact cars, the Kenosha HLE team has always worked a comp upgrade for me beyond what my 5-star entitled me to. ( Never got this treatment at airport) Car fleet is generally better than Le location Enterprise office. read more

Terrible customer service . Rented me a van that needed oil change and had a cracked windshield . Charged me for insurance when I didn't want or need it. When I noticed charges they said to bad you agreed but I was never told I was agreeing to insurance . I was told it was rental agreement like I always sign . Maybe I should have took my time and looked closer but who does that when excited for vacation? I feel very much so taken advantage of . Most of the time these online reviews are accurate. In this case the the reviews are dead on. I agree, this Hertz location has very poor customer service. Poor customer service and care. The manager of the location provided false information to Geico. When I arrived, no premium vehicle was available and the vehicle they did provide was dirty and had 1/4 tank. They did not do a walk around with the vehicle to establish any damages. Simply handed me the keys to a dirty car. Any employee at Chik Fil A can do 10x better than the manager at the location. Hertz should really consider recruiting better employees that really manage and know how to run and operate a business in a professional manner. read more

Worst experience ever. Doesn't deserve even one star. I reserved a car about 2 months ago that was supposed to be $25 a day so my insurance would cover it. Talked to someone yesterday who said they would have a car ready at 8am for us. When we got there, there was no car ready and they didn't have any for $25 a day so we had to pay extra. Talk about bait and switch. We waited an hour while they filled out paperwork and found a car and then took pictures of the car which all should have been done before we got there. Avoid this place like the plague! read more

I wouldn't even give this company one star, it doesn't deserve it. The hertz in kenosha wi on 75th st made me get their insurance and pay for the rental knowing my insurance provider covered the rental as well as insurance. They I called them out on it they gave me the run around. They will not reimburse me for the liability they charged me for. Devon who works there actually hung the phone up mid conversation. I will be calling their corporate office as well. I would never recommend hertz to anyone who needs a rental. GO TO ENTERPRISE or anywhere else for that matter. What a joke. read more

I booked a rental vehicle through Priceline 2 weeks ago for a cargo van. I received a phone call today from a lady (2 days prior to renting) that she might not have a cargo van. That's fine I understand things change and honestly I rented that as it was the most affordable option so it didnt have to be a cargo van. I asked what else could she could give me at this price. She then proceeded to tell me their policy just changed and that they need a credit card not a debit card even if she was to change it to another vehicle. I advised her the ToS on priceline for Hertz did not state this. She then said well we need a $500 deposit then. The rental itself was around $150.00 but they want a $500 deposit? So her story went from they do not accept debit cards to ok we can accept it but for a $500 deposit. VERY SHADY. Thanks for ruining my trip. read more

Very poor customer service. This location will tell you what you want to hear to get you in the door & then don't follow thru with what the verbally commit to over the phone. Found a car rate of $25.00 per day online & called to confirm that the car was available. Was told that it was. Ended up being $72 per day once Sean booked the reservation. When I questioned the rate charged with the manager Joe he mentioned it was based on supply & demand even though Sean confirmed that not only was that rate level available, but he had 3 onsite that could be rented. I was shown all 3 when I arrived to book the reservation. False advertising & not following thru with their commitment to their customers. I will never use Hertz ever again as this was my second bad experience with only using them twice. read more

So my Fiance reserved a rental for 2:30 today, they call at 3 while shes on her way to pick up the car and say the vehicle won't be ready until 4:30. She rented the vehicle to drive 5 and a half hours out of town for work. So waiting an hour and a half wasn't an option. Good thing Enterprise has available cars. How do you not have any other available cars if what you do is rent cars. read more

I've been meaning to write this review since the start of 2015 but I love this place. The manager Alex is amazing. I'm a touring DJ and go here all the time to rent a car. Sometimes they I get a good deal on upgrades. They even offer to take you home. One time I rented a Chrysler 300 and it suffered a chip on the windshield. I only had to pay about $12 for the damaged windshield. Thanks a lot guys I'm now a Hertz Gold Member. read more

Double check your contract before you drive off with the car; don't trust what they tell you. Also don't use the after hours car drop off as you need to know what they are charging to your credit card. They over charged me and after each call to the office they promised to refund the fuel charge but never bothered. Be careful with this location. read more
