The Kenosha staff was amazing! They really went beyond what I would expect to make my rental pleasant! The only reason I don't give enterprise a five star rating is the car's were all in rough shape. The first car a Camry was pretty torn up with scratches and 3 glass chip in the windshield which will likely never get fixed. It reeked of cigarette smoke to the point after couple of days I could take it anymore and swapped for something else. The second car definitely was a smokers car too but what killed it for me was that it didn't have a working horn. So it went back after two days. The third car, Sonata, also a smokers mobile and pretty new, was leaking oil so badly it the warning light came on and I had to put a couple of quarts in. That all leaked out into a pool on my driveway I had to replace a half gallon in a week. If it weren't for the extraordinary staff, and if they were just average employees, I would've probably given Enterprise a 2 star rating because of the cars being so beat, but these staff people were so nice they bumped up the rating. They got me an excellent rate while I waited for my newly purchased car to arrive after my old one was totaled. read more

I called when they opened at 8 o'clock and I was in my car driving away by 9:15. They made everything easy and worked quickly to get me on my way. The check in process was just as easy. I received a stellar price and was a pest by calling everyday 3 days before the rental to make sure it would be there since the rental supply is low and they were great with communication and delivery! I've rented from Enterprise and especially from this location most of the time I needed a rental car because it's supposed to be a personable, family owned outfit as opposed to the gaslighting, impersonal, unaccountable corporations that cite policies written in fine print to legitimize every occasion on which they try to abuse the little guy who makes them the rich gazzillionaire companies that they are. Recently my spouse rented a car from this location of Enterprise, as a one way rental, arrived at the destination two days early BUT was issued no pro rated refund for those two days. Instead, she was cited a policy... according to this policy those days were actually "free", which totally contradicts Enterprise's other policy when I would rent over the weekend, specifically the policy that if they're not there to receive the car because their office isn't open Sundays, I have to pay for Sunday also... When she called to reason with these people she was cited the policy despite the fact that she is a military dependent, and this occurred leading up to the 4th of July holiday. She filed a complaint against them with the State, so I guess Enterprise is really trying to be like the impersonal, publicly owned, abusive car rental companies. So, pro tip for Enterprise: if you want to be just like the crappiest car rental companies in America, don't change a thing; you're now on the perfect course there. Abusing the families of veterans in order to squeeze a few extra dollars on an already expensive rental leading up to a national holiday is about the best way I can think of for you to be just like the flag waving corporations that have a lot of catchy seemingly patriotic ads and meaningless gestures even as they rob veterans on car rentals every chance they get. Enterprise may please ignorance on this situation, but here's something Enterprise won't be able to plead ignorance on: I will NEVER rent a car from Enterprise ever again in my life. read more

just had a very bad experience at enterprise Kenosha. I made a reservation on Friday afternoon and was told that they would pick us up at 10:30 AND WE WOULD HAVE A FULL-SIZE CAR. We receive a call at 8:30 today to inform us that they do not pick up on Saturday. We get to Enterprise in Kenosha and are then told there are no full-size vehicles available so we can only have a compact or an SUV. I get home to express my frustration to the reservation center only to find out they could have searched for a possible full-size car that might have been available. I was then put on hold for several minutes to escalate my concerns so I just hung up. I was also not informed that there would be a $300 deposit required. read more

This rental place has a few working there that lied to me Called about a car weeks before and then a day before pick up to assure I get the sedan i wanted. I was assured I get a Ford Fusion, a Dodge Charger or a Chevy Malibu. When i got there i was told first i was too early and none of the cars i wanted was in yet. Then they tell me , well we wont be getting any of them in and they really do not hold cars but could give me a Toyota, a Kia or a Honda. 3 vehicles i was clear on i did not want. I asked about a GMC SUV that was parked there but was told it was held for someone but they just got done telling they do not hold vehicles and it first come first serve. Hmmm guess they lie to cover up others lies. So if you need a car, i advise not to go there. I wont ever again! read more

I needed to rent a car for a work conference. I called and was told I'd be able to rent a Jeep Wrangler and they'd have one for me. The price I was given was $250, and change. I get there to pick it up, and they don't have anything near what I had asked. On top of that, they tell me there's an extra $150 security deposit I was never told about. I rented a Hyundai Accent the weekend of June 11 into June 16 2015. I was picked at the time I asked for. The service was very good and courteous. The car had very good pick up on the freeways and the mileage was good as I traveled over 1100 miles on a little over $100.00 on fuel costs. I kept the car till after I got off of work on the 16 of June again the service at the time I dropped off the car was very good and I was able to be dropped off at home in a timely manner. The close at noon on Saturdays. Last Saturday at 11:40 we called them because our car had died on an off ramp and we wanted to see if someone could pick us up so we could rent a car from them. We were 6 miles away, stranded with our 6 year old, 45 miles away from our own house in Chicago. They would not send anybody because "their employees could only work a certain number of hours a week." We offered to pay an emergency fee or something to cover their employee salaries, but instead of saying, "yes," the person admonished us for trying to pull on his heart strings (by saying we were stuck with our six year old). It is bad enough they did not help us, but being reprimanded by the employee while we were stuck 45 miles away from home was just too much to handle. My husband used Enterprise pretty regularly. If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently moved to the area this month from another state. I had a family emergency and needed a reliable rental to get home to be with my family.. Having rented from other enterpises and having an excellent expierience I expected the same from this location. Because I had an out of state drivers license and a debit card they told me I could not rent from them.. I have always used my ID and my debit prior for work and travel with enterprise in the past and never had an issue ..the woman then began to tell me she will not rent to me unless I get a Wisconsin ID if I want to use my debit card? When I tried to explain to her that I had a family emergency and don't have the time to go that second and get a Wisconsin ID she then told me "id be better off going to an airport and renting a vehicle" I asked to speak to an assistant manager in the hopes that maybe he would hear me out and be a little more sympathetic and work with me considering the circumstances he was even worse than she was he began to tell me that they won't do it because people apparently despute the debit charge before it posts and claim to never have rented a vehicle ( which I have never heard of) but that if I had a major credit card he would do it... Pretty much I continued to get treated like garbage I took my debit card and out of state id gladly to HERTZ who were able to not only accomedate me with a BETTER deal but also gave me 25.00 off my next rental.. They know how to treat people with respect! Shame on Kenosha enterprise ! They obviously stereotype and don't care about customer service!
