Worst experience ever. We reserved a cargo van, one way, for a move 45 days in advance. We got a call TWO DAYS before our departure telling us not only do they not have the van, they have NO CAR to give us. When I asked what else they could offer, the man who I think was named Darnell said "i have no idea what will be available but that's why I'm telling you in advance" Two days is not in advance. They completely ruined our plans, our move and had 0 regard for how they inconvenienced us. What is the point of making a reservation if they won't honor it? And 0 problem solving abilities after the fact. This is the second time they have not only not honored our reservation, but threw up their hands and didn't bother to make it right. I got to Hertz this morning (05/10/21) to pick up my car that was promised to me Friday morning. I asked for a car and was told all they had for me was a large SUV. I told them I didn't feel comfortable driving a large SUV. I asked Friday are they sure they will have a car for me Monday morning and they said for sure. I already had to wait 3 days with no car. If they weren't going to have a car they should have told me that Friday when I called. I could have switched to Enterprise Friday and had a car over the weekend. DON'T GO HERE!!! read more

Went to Rent-A-Car there there was to 2 sonatas I needed the car for one week and was going to be dropping it off in Georgia to the airport . There was a gentleman in front of me of me renting the car for the same amount of days goes outside to get the car and the bumper had a scratch on it So the manager comes in and asks me if I will take the car with the scratch for a discounted price I say why of course and save myself $100 over me renting the same car The same colour for the same amount of days I will always take a deal read more

Took them 3+ hours to pick me up. Called to check twice and the woman sucked her teeth at me on the phone. The driver was GREAT but then I got to the front desk and both ladies were unhelpful and clearly did not care about the customers. No manager was on duty so they "couldn't use a credit card authorization form" and they left me and my child out to dry. Literally watched us walk away onto Sunset Blvd during rush hour knowing we were from out of town. We walked down to a hotel and had great service at Enterprise the next morning. read more

Terrible customer service! We have used this location several times and each time there have been issues. The last time was the worst. They Called us the day of our reservation to tell us they had no car. They didn't care I was moving and needed this vehicle! The reservation was made weeks before, it was awful! The staff is always courteous but on the phone when I arrive. With this particular rental, the car was not vacuumed when I arrived. The driver's side light did not work in the "auto position", the steering was dangerously loose, cruise control did not work, and the anti skid brakes activated when going around turns. When I tried to pick up my car this afternoon I was told they didn't have a car. We I asked the girl if she would like to use my reservation number she said no. Her answer at this point was "no car for me". I asked her how she was going to solve the problem, she said she wasn't. I asked her if she could call another location and ask if they maybe they had a car. She called and asked if they had a full size car-they didn't and she hung up. I asked her if maybe they had another size since I didn't have a car. She called back and they did. This customer service rep had zero problem solving skills. She was either poorly trained or does not care about customer service. She was the only one in the store. How can management leave someone like this by themselves. This happened @ 4:45 on 2/8. Maybe I got the same biscuit eater as a previous reviewer. Her final answer was for me to drive about an hour away to another store even though their lot seemed full of cars.
