In order to rent another vehicle, I was forced to accept an additional charge of $500 to cover the deductible on my insurance. I returned the car four days later in perfect shape and with a full gas tank. I was not refunded the $500. I have called three times over the past month and was told that the refund was being processed as we spoke. The refund has still not been received despite a letter from the insurance company of the driver at fault that they accept responsibility. I have wasted over 6 hours on the phone trying to deal with this. The mark of a good company is how they handle problems that arise. Enterprise has not only mishandled my claim, they have outright lied when they claimed that the refund was being processed as we spoke. Do not trust this company and take your business elsewhere.

I rented a car through Priceline for a SUV to be picked up at Hertz. Lady from Hertz calls me about…read morean hour before pickup saying all we got is a full size truck. I told her no, that is not what I ordered & asked her to cancel. She stated for me to cancel I gotta go through who I ordered from. So I go back to Priceline website and note that my order is 'express'...meaning non refundable, can't cancel. Well, guess I'm driving a truck after all. I get to Hertz, give my info to the lady, she states "I though you didn't want the truck?" I told her "I don't but it's express, I can't refund." "We'll we don't have it," she states. So the vehicle I reserved (that I can't cancel) was given to someone else, awesome!...and what do ya know, I ended up getting a refund on a non refundable purchase...sometimes the sun does shine...never again.

I land in Lynchburg, and I call them to come pick me up. Hi, I have a reservation and need to be picked up from the airport Oh, My name is Kara M. (pause) You rented my car and didn't hold my reservation for an hour, you didn't leave a message and you don't have anything left? No, I'm not staying in Lynchburg tonight, I need to get to Roanoke today for dinner and an interview tomorrow. ***PANIC SETS IN RIGHT ABOUT HERE**** So how is it that they still get a decent review? well the lovely sales person on the phone sends the van to come get me and calls other enterprise branches in the area to see if anyone else has a car...SCORE!! CRISIS averted. I can now breath again. Everything else from that point was completely smooth. The rental was great and returning the car was super easy. Overall, the experience was pretty good and I love some good customer service. My only advice is to leave a message maybe or hold confirmed reservations for at least an hour, that will keep my heart beating in my chest for sure.

Had the need to get some tires since I was riding on baldies and after finding Larry's online, I popped in to see what I could get for my ride. We arrived at a set of tires that would work for my car and we proceeded to get them all installed: balanced, mounted and I even had them do my alignment as it was off. While the guys in the shop were busy working, I spent a nice half hour chatting with Larry. Clean waiting room and fresh popcorn to munch while killing some time plus great prices, great service and super friendly folks - what more could you possibly ask for? Definitely will be back.
