This left me completely stuck, forced to search for another rental at the last minute, which is stressful, inconvenient, and unacceptable when you trust a company to honor a reservation. What's the point of booking in advance if the reservation doesn't actually guarantee the vehicle? The lack of accountability, the poor communication, and the inconvenience this caused makes me seriously reconsider ever using Enterprise again. I expected better professionalism and reliability. It is layer after layer of automated answering and pressing this and pressing that it is absolutely maddening. Finally, the employees saw me melting and frustration and they decided to try themselves. They too took about 10 minutes but we're finally able to get a representative on the phone. This young lady was likely an Indonesia or the Philippines or someplace like that. She was absolutely clueless and she wanted to transfer me to somebody else at which point I just hung up the phone and left. I will never spend another dollar at Hertz again the rest of my life and I will encourage others to do the same. It is absolutely the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life with any business.
