We got hit by a deer during the rental period, and I called and reported it and was told to complete an incident report from the glove box. In spite of my purchasing the damage waiver coverage at rental, the incident report required the driver's birth date, insurance company, company address and policy number, etc. Then when I returned the car and submitted the incident report, the older clerk with the long red hair handed me a blank form of some sort that would be used between Avis's insurance and the driver's. She wanted me to sign the blank form and when I wouldn't, she was confused. I asked her if she would sign a blank form, and she just stared at me. So I drew a big x across the paper, initialed it, and signed that. All that said, one of the other clerks was very helpful in getting a wheelchair for me in order to get to the TSA check-in point.

Anywho- I had booked a car with Budget and tried to get my vehicle but the young man at the counter was so rude to me, inconsiderate and not helpful at all. Turns out there are some new rules at Budget that hinder a car rental unless you have a credit card. The young man wasn't even going to tell me that Alamo could help me so I would've been stranded in a strange place, all alone- what a butthead! Thankfully I walked down the line and saw sweet Barb who greeted me with a smile and promptly helped me and gave me a free upgrade to an SUV since the weather up north was showing snow. Barb helped me to start my journey off on the right foot and she made me feel cared for, safe and like she actually wanted to make sure her customer was treated with respect. Barb is AMAZING at what she does and I was just so thankful and appreciative of her understanding and hospitable nature. When my vehicle had slid off an icy road and the front bumper and grill were damaged, I took it to Arrowhead Auto Body. They gave me an estimate to have it looked at which was accompanied by a strong opinion that it would be costly to repair and that parts needed to be replaced. I didn't have the funds that day, which seemed to annoy the representative in addition to the fact that I didn't want to dive into a repair before the vehicle was even looked at to assess the damage. I was told I could only leave it parked there for a day or two. So, thankfully, I saw that another shop, Everything Automotive, was across the street, and I took it there. The customer service was awesome, and they actually even let me keep the vehicle parked there for 1-2 weeks until I had the money for a potentially costly repair. When they checked everything, there wasn't any actual damage that needed repair. When I came to pick it up, they didn't charge me anything. The whole experience was a surprise and felt like great customer service and just kindness. I'm sure that Arrowhead Auto Body has allowed for many positive experiences, however, because of mine, I would tell a friend to consider other shops or at least get a second opinion. I've continued to have really great experiences at Everything Automotive. Arrowhead Auto Glass (full auto body shop) is also a good shop.
