We recently received a letter from the IRS stating they couldn't issue the refund because the bank account information was missing. I realized Richard never even asked my mom for her routing or account numbers. My parents are not fluent in English, so if I hadn't been there to catch this, they could have missed the IRS deadline entirely. Richard stated that customers can come back anytime with any problem or question because they are open almost every day, not just during tax season like some others. However, the mistake I mentioned above makes it feel like they create problems themselves just to show they can fix them. Additionally, my mom is rarely critical of others, but even she mentioned how incredibly slow the typing was. While we don't expect a "pro" typist, the speed was well below average. If there had been no other problems, I would never have mentioned this. My parents have used tax services for over a decade and have never had an issue until we tried Anh Tuan Income Tax. We only used this service because my mom prefers a professional, but after this experience, we will never return. I will be handling her filing myself from now on to ensure it's done right.
