Subaru of America acts nice on customer service but their claims office is HORRIBLE. They do not…read moretake care of subaru customers. I had my Subaru car diagnosed by the local (Louisiana) certified Subaru Dealership Technician who couldn't duplicate the issue but recommended replacing the spark plugs to fix the issue. 1.5 months later while in Florida on a business trip the same issue happened. I took it to the Subaru dealership there and the technician ran a diagnostic again and found the problem and replaced the fuel injector, GREAT!... but due to limited time for the business trip he had not gotten the parts or replaced the intake manifold. But the tech did note in the bill that it needed to be replaced and I should seek SOA assistance for the simple completion of work. I reached out to SOA and they "claimed" they'd get back to me in 2 business days, but never did. Many phone calls later (4 business days) I was asked to upload the receipts showing the diagnostics and notes to an email which I did. On the business day 5 for the first time I was contacted by the claim manager... who stated I need to get a diagnostic by a certified subaru technician before they would even review my options. (so I guess paying 2 different dealerships for diagnostics already provided and having the specific problem identified in the bill isn't enough for the claim manager?). The next day, I replied back stating I already had provided receipts from certified subaru technicians showing diagnostic complete and didn't want to pay for a third one for a known problem... and have been ignored for the past 6 business days by the claims office. ZERO phone calls ever, 1 email to say I need to get another diagnostic done. That's an embarrassing level of care. I also requested to speak to a supervisor but was told I needed to wait 2 more days for that. What a rip off. Subaru used to be a reliable company but seems they can't even put the effort in to call their customers 1 time over the 12 business days (3 weeks) I've been asking for simple assistance with an issue already identified by a subaru technician.

Although they reported other work on the car to Carfax, they failed ot report the engine issue but mechanic's notes I was able to retrieve from service desk rep clearly indicated there had been sludge and sprocket related issues that led to my engine needing to be replaced after 300 miles post purchase. Decided to then purchase another vehicle from the dealer but they did not credit me for trade-in and cash I put toward initial car purchase,

That was over 8 months ago. I was ridiculed and abused for checking in, eventually ignored outright. Now I am stuck with a car with no paperwork. Beware of this scam artist. YOU WILL be taken advantage of if you go into this deal expecting more than what you see in front of you. There is no guarantee to get a title, no guarantee of refund, and if you hit any snag, you're fucked. Alex pays you no mind after he already has your cash. Alex WILL lie to you about the title process in order to get your money which you will never see again if handed over. Before you consider giving any money to this business, you will at least need to first get a lawyer to write up a bind-able and enforceable contract, and have it SIGNED by both parties.

My husband and I were looking to purchase a kei van for our business. We were skeptical purchasing…read morea van that we never saw in person or test drove. We were even MORE skeptical giving someone a deposit on said van and then trusting it would be delivered to us. I'm so happy to report that all of our fears were completely unfounded. We reached out to Alex who responded promptly (anything within 24 hours is what I'd consider business etiquette and he beat that by FAR). He answered all of our (many) questions. Since we're 5 hours from their location in NJ, Alex did a video chat with us so he could walk us around the vehicle and show us all of the features. He took time to talk with us about the van - parts, maintenance, etc (we know practically nothing about these cars). He also had 2 of the best-looking assistants I've ever seen in my life (his pups-- I'm a dog-first kind of person and if you're good to your dogs, you're good people to me). He even got in and drove it around a bit so we could see that it was driving and not making any crazy noises. All of that is what I'd consider over and above. But wait, there's more... Alex offered to deliver the van to us-- 5 hours away-- himself. He did as promised and delivered it to us within 3 days of that walk-around! Not only did he deliver it-- but he trailered it to our business which is in the city and not the easiest to navigate with a trailer (so he has some A-1 driving skills too). We were more than satisfied with the whole process and the price we paid, including the delivery cost. Overall, Alex made the buying process super easy and put our concerns to rest. We'll likely be buying at least one more of these little beauties and will only consider buying from Alex. He not only has some very nice vehicles and very adorable helpers, but I'm very big on giving business to people who do things the right way. TL:DR -- Alex is absolutely fantastic, knows his stuff, and cares about the customer experience. Don't hesitate to do business with him. I'm definitely impressed with him.

Eh. I had on my bucket list, "drive an exotic car," so the misses got me a Groupon for a 1-hour…read moredriving experience. "Awesome!" thought the optimistic me. Turns out optomistic me was quite wrong. After calling to reserve, I was told that the only way to book was online. After booking online, I was emailed and asked to confirm. After confirming, I sent an email asking a bunch of question that are disturbingly left off of the website. I got no response. Whatever. So, the day of my appointment, I head down to the address on the Groupon; A JOANNES FABRIC STORE. No seriously. The Imagine Lifestyles office is a computer on a file cabinet INSIDE A JOANNES FABRIC STORE. What?! Ok, after talking to the man at the file cabinet, I was told that I was at the wrong location; something the unanswered email should have told me. After making it to the new location, a pretty much empty and dilapidated building, I met my guide. After a little paperwork, I was told that my ride was a Ferrari California. Thats awesome and all, but that was my ONLY choice. This is supposed to be a top notch, exclusive car rental agency, and they had ONE choice for their exotic cars. *eye roll* SO, the time came to actually take the ride. Since my email went unanswered, I arrived with the Misses in tow but was told at the place that she was not allowed to ride with. She WAS eventually allowed to tag along, which was cool. I was told that I had to keep both hands on the wheel at 10 and 2, use my turn signals and fully turn my head to change lanes, not go over the speed limit, drive only in automatic and that I would only be allowed to do all of that cool stuff after a parking lot driving "test" to prove I wouldn't wreck their one and only exotic car. On the way to the aforementioned parking lot, my guide proceeded to speed, have 1 hand on the wheel, use the paddle shifter, race a Miata (what?) and just generally break EVERY rule that he not 5 minutes earlier explained to me. Again, whatever. At the parking lot, we changed seats and I was allowed to finally pilot my Ferrari.....up and down Route 130. I took a quick trip from Cinnaminson to Burlington and then back to Pennsauken. Boring, if I'm being honest. Theres not many feelings as weird as being behind the wheel of a Ferrari and watching a Toyato Tercel fly past you in the left lane while your hands are at 10 and 2. I mean, I get it, NO ONE is going to hand you the keys to a $200,000 vehicle and tell you to be back in an hour, or let you Autobahn up and down a NJ highway, but c'mon. ANYWAY, after getting back, we took a couple pictures and got the hell out of dodge. I can cross it off the bucket list but it wasn't the "exotic experience" they would have you believe. Maybe the other locations are a little more swanky, but the NJ location is severely lacking. They appeared to be remodeling, and maybe after MASSIVE overhauls, they'll be alright, but its not very awesome right now. But, if you have a bucket list similiar to mine, and like to have your choices made for you, you might want to check it out. Otherwise, keep on driving.
