I've been going to Subaru of Cherry Hill for service since June of 2020. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer recently having my rear brakes serviced. I am usually greeted with great hospitality and quality service. Generally, the service is timely and accurate based on the estimated time to complete provided. However, much to my dismay, my bill included a $11.00 service charge on top of my $367.00 bill which parts totaled around $100. I can understand the labor costs involved; however, I am not happy with the $11.00 up charge for using a credit card especially given that business are beginning to shift to cashless. I am seriously thinking about looking for anew dealer to service my vehicle. read more

On 12/8/2025, I traveled to Voorhees to share a Christmas lunch with old colleagues. Afterwards, I went out and found a flat tire on my new Subaru Legacy. After talking with Subaru road assistance, I was towed to Subaru in Cherry Hill close to closing time. The woman who helped at the service desk was phenomenal. She was friendly, attentive and told me she would stay late as necessary to make sure I got back on the road with a repaired tire or loaner as needed. As I was waiting, she let me know one of the service techs would stay and replace my tire as it could not be repaired and they had a replacement in stock. My warranty covered everything. The service department went above and beyond for my last minute problem to get me back in my car for the late drive home. The tech even set up my front display to show all the tire pressures as I thought the idiot light was because the cold weather had dropped the pressure as I couldn't tell that my tire had gone flat. read more

I have a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Limited. I love the car but I have a problem with my radio. After the radio is on being on for a while it has several problems. 1) it will change channels unbidden. I can be listening to XM, Fm or Am and it will change channels, sometimes to a station with no channel input. This doesn't happen right away, but after an hour, it begins 2) while driving with the navigation map on, the radio output just stops, as soon as I change back to the radio, the output starts again, sometimes it take for me to reselect radio for the output to start again. Again this problem starts after a long delay perhaps 45 minutes to an hour. I have had the car into Subaru of Cherry Hill for this problem twice and each time I am told that the problem is that the radio needs an update, but I get no warning that an update is needed, and the problem reoccurs. read more

Since I drive right by this dealership every working day, I figured I'd schedule it right here, and I'm glad I did! My appointment was for 7:30 am, and I worked with Chris and then Kay in the service department. Sadly my experience with this dealership was initially positive, then ultimately a complete disappointment. I was helping a friend look for a car, and we came across this one located on the opposite coast. I reached out to the dealership on a sunday, and received text, email, and phone contacts the following day from two different people. I was able to speak to one of them later, and requested that the car be taken to an independent dealership for a pre purchase inspection. Having dealt with less reputable dealerships in the past, a PPI is a non-negotiable when buying a car sight unseen. It doesn't matter if it's private party or certified from a dealership. The person I spoke with didn't have a problem with taking the car to an independent shop down the street, so I called to arrange an appointment. The following day a third salesperson took over from there, and I repeated my request for PPI, which they agreed to handle. The next day a fourth salesperson contacted me, and said they could not take the car to another mechanic. I explained my situation, and they said they would 'speak to their manager' and get back to me. They never did. I received no further calls, texts, or emails from any of the four salespeople I spoke with in the week prior. YMMV, but I would not do any business with a dealership that is afraid of a customer who wants to do a pre purchase inspection on one of their cars. read more

Did the oil change here when traveling nearby. Called upfront with intention to make an appointment, but was told they have express service, no need to make appointment. But when we arrive, was told have to wait 2-2.5 h since we were choosing express service. But we had no choice since car engine oil was set to express service by them. Our sales guy appeared to be nice, but he convinced us to purchase two plans through their dealership that since then turned out to be totally useless--just a sales trap. The boss guy was an epitome of a sleazy car salesman and that was obvious from the beginning--we shouldn't have ignored that red flag. The dealership failed to deliver on their promises related to the registration and tags and everything else, gave us wrong info and then refused to cover the cost of the parking tickets, etc. The people handling the paperwork were totally incompetent, the communication within the place non-existent, the financial guy outright nasty. I originally posted a favorable review when I first leased my Subaru but things have changed. Three separate issues. First one was when I brought my vehicle in for service including a detail a month ago. When I picked it up the next day, I had to reclean the windshield on the inside and they misplaced my cup holder inserts. Called the service advisor. He said he would call me and never did. I had to call him back a week later. Then my key was stuck in the ignition and they couldn't get me in with a loaner for 2-3 weeks. So I took it to Prestige and they got me a loaner and had it fixed the next day. Last issue was I purchased their extended glass protection through Portfolio Express 5. Covers chips and star bursts. Well last night on my way home during snow storm, a salt truck put a chip in the windshield. That is covered under the warranty. Next morning, the chip cracked. Now it's not covered. I called the warranty company and they said there was nothing they could do. I reached out to Greg the service manager asking for assistance. he offered to pay half my deductible. I said ty but after these past bad experiences I said no. I can get it replaced with an aftermarket glass for the same $250 so there is no benefit. I have been a loyal Subaru customer but now will switch. I was going to lease a Crosstrek next year when my lease is up but going to try another brand now. Just don't see the point. Nothing special about Cherry Hill Subaru. Can get this same level of service anywhere. Why pay $80 for basic service when I can go to a local guy for half that. I used to think there was a benefit of going to the dealer but not seeing it. read more
