Contacted Hester Roofing to check a vent pipe that we thought was broken. Jeff was able to stop by that evening and do a thorough check of the roof and confirmed the roof looked good and the vent pipe had not broken off. He showed views of the roof and came back the next day and filled in some nails that were showing and caulked all the vent pipes. Jeff even cleaned up some debris on the garage roof. Called Hesters Roofing on Friday morning and left a message asking for an estimate. Finally got a call back Tuesday morning and was told someone could be at my home before 1pm. Well they are either REALLY late or just not going to show up. Since it's THREE hours past when they said they'd be here and I haven't getten a call, I am going to assume they aren't showing up. We discovered a leak on our roof after my daughter's bedroom walls became wet after the last rain. Several places I called didn't call me back, so I was very thankful when Jeff did. He came out yesterday to quote me and was able to come do the repairs today. He did a complete tear down replaced everything brand new along with extra work required on front walk-way roof where the wood was completely rotten. A leak, in my son's bedroom, that a previous roofer couldn't find last year became clearly evident when the rains and wind hit hard on my Corona home this year. I called Jeff last min when corona was getting blasted with rain when one of our rentals had a leaking roof, he wasn't able to make it out that day due to it was past a normal working hour so he so I made a appointment with him at 7am the following day he came out on time and was very knowledge about about roofing and knew exactly what to look for when he went on my roof he took pictures while on the roof and came down to show me what exactly he had found not only did he just check for the leak areas he walked around my whole roof and checked for cracked tiles and had found 7 of them he recommended replacing them so I did, Jeff come across and a nice easy going guy that knows what he is talking about and he workmanship speaks the same way. I needed to have my flat roof redone along with a detached shed. I also wanted a roof turbine on the shed and two on the flat roof. I previously had roof rats in my attic before evicting the little boogers by rat proofing all entries into my attic from the roof and garage and have been rat free for almost a year. I spoke with Jeff Hester about having the mentioned work done and not leave any openings in the roof where the rats could return. Jeff was very open to my concerns and seemed very experienced and knowledgeable about everything I asked and explained how he would address my concerns when he roofed my house. I felt satisfied with his explanations and had a sense of confidence in him. In addition I chose a vinyl flat roof material for my roof that Jeff was experienced in working with. The work was performed, with Jeff doing everything he said he would. The work was done to my picky satisfaction with all possible points a rat could enter via my roof addressed. Jeff was very meticulous with his work, taking no shortcuts from start to finish. The only draw back was Jeff started my roof a week late from his initial start date and took another week to complete the work. The reason for this was he over committed himself and sometimes would only work on my roof for 3-4 hours before leaving to another job site. If you can get past this he does good work. read more

Your roof is one of the most important repairs you can make on your home. I got quotes from several different roofing companies before deciding to go with Jeff. Jeff came to us highly recommended by a contractor in our neighborhood. The person who recommended Jeff told us his workman ship is excellent and his pricing is competitive. We found both to be true. We have a flat roofed which I believe is significantly more challenging to do than a sloped roof. Jeff took the time and gave us samples of the materials that are used on flat roof and he explained the differences of Hot Mop Style roof vs using TPO material on our roof. The majority of the contractors told us that we should do a hot mop style roof but when we asked for a warranty they would only offer us 1 year on the workmanship only. With the TPO material from Jeff were able to get a 20 year warranty on the material and 10 year warranty on the workmanship. I highly recommend Jeff for any roofing project I have to say that the level of detail that is involved in TPO flat roof was much more than I expected. Jeff is a true craftsman in his trade and extremely knowledgeable and he takes great pride in his work again I highly recommend Jeff for any roofing project. read more

We were in a super tight time frame, but Jeff and his company came through for us in a big way! The days were 99°+ but they did quality work you do not see today very often. If you want something slapped together, do not waste his time, please. Jeff honors both the roofing trade and woodworking trade with his decades of experience. attention to detail, and overall understanding of how to solve problems. In our case one of the issues were boards that needed to be replaced under a balcony due to termite damage. We also had decades old roofing tiles that needed replacing. This so called genius comes out says he's been doing this for years inspects my roof from the ground and tells me this is the problem. I ask him can he fix it? He says yes but I don't have the equipment with me so we were schedule for another day. That was ok and then I ask him for a business card, he doesn't have any on him. Since I knew I was going to be charged $50 for his inspection I was hoping he would at least go on my roof and do a thorough inspection. He responds it's too slippery on the roof and he's not going up. He's the one that set up the time to come to my home and if he's been doing this for a long time he should know about the morning dew and any problems it causes when inspecting a roof. So he should have gave me a reasonable time where he can inspect my roof properly and earn that $50. Do not use his service or call this company. Shady. So he calls me the next day and apologizes. On his character and integrity, I give him an A+. Not many would do what he did or say what he said after time has elapsed. Good job. read more
