Went for dinner by myself while visiting my parents - location was in an industrial area but cool vibes and comfortable atmosphere. I had the Tuscan chicken salad which was fantastic - the chicken was not the least bit dry and was complimented well with the other invariants. For beer, I had read about the Theology - a mix of the vanilla porter and coffee stout - and it was worth the visit! I grabbed a crowler of the ipa and vanilla stout as gifts. My first visit here and was pleasantly impressed with the wide beer selection. Even some ciders on the menu. If the owner is in feel free to ask some questions as he was very open and knowledgeable and lives to explain the flavors Alter Ego was great. I tried the Pineapple cider beer and love it. Overall, great selection of great beers and friendly place to visit. It could use a few TV's for game days. But you should certainly add to your tour of breweries in Knoxville. read more

September 19, 2020 Great family brew stop that we passed through. Our host was generous with the tastings. Afterwards we settled on #6 IPA. This is an warehouse style brewery which had an outdoor area cordoned off from the parking lot which we played a little Jenga, but also has corn hole and bucket-beer pong. We stayed for 20 minutes and continued on. Definitely worth a stop. Wish we could have stayed longer to try some of their other beer. Alas next time. read more

Great beer selection, friendly staff, and good food! I visited this place for the first time the other night and was impressed. The location isn't ideal and it's a little hard to spot, but it's definitely worth a visit. I was impressed by their beer selection and they had a great variety. I tried a white chocolate stout and it was great. My friend ordered the white chocolate stout mixed with the cherry limeade cider, which the bartender suggested, and it was delicious! The food here is reasonably priced as well. I ordered the hot pb & j sandwich with chips and it was only $5. Overall I had a very pleasant experience here and I would be happy to visit again soon. I just wish it was located a little closer to the other cluster of breweries located in the downtown area. read more

The staff was so friendly but more importantly the beer was great!!! Wait no, even more important, the atmosphere is awesome if you like free video games, outdoor large beer pong, corn hole and large area for fire pit and a stage for music. We went when they opened during the day, so there was not fire or music but a really great outdoor area. They had a few different ipas to choose from which is pretty much my exclusive beer of choice. Go for the beer and stay for the fun!!! Remember to bring your id though, everyone has to show it to get a drink. read more

If your into trying new types of beer this is definitely an interesting little spot. I personally had a cherry limeade vodka soda which was really good. The people were friendly. I was in there to play steel tip darts, they had a corn hole league going outside with lots of space and some small vendors booths. I'm giving it 4 stars because although I was not there for the beer, the bartenders were supper friendly and the establishment was extremely clean. I do wish the parking was a little better but there are lots of places around them to park just not in front of the location read more

It's nice to find a family friendly brewery. I really enjoyed their selection of Diskin Ciders, and the staff was VERY accommodating to my 4 year old, so they get extra points for that! The BTC was my favorite cider. We also got the pretzel (awesome), bbq nachos (meh), and turkey sandwich (yum). My husband really enjoyed the chocolate Buddha, the peach something, and some beer with orange. (Sorry for the lame memory.) Other times they discriminate against people with latex allergies by having latex balloons. Up to 25% of the global population has latex allergies. Beer is okay, but service is terrible. Even on a slow night, staff will look you right in the eyes and then disregard you. One girl who appears to be staff (walked behind the bar and into the back multiple times) is more concerned with socializing than customer service. Asked for a beer and was told I needed to "wait a minute" while she proceeded to chat with another employee about her trip she came back from. I waited for ten minutes, asked again and she rolled her eyes at me. The guy finally got me a beer after having been there waiting at the bar for 15-20 minutes. Terrible service, terrible attitude, mediocre beer. Didn't bother ordering food since the couple nearby said not to waste my time - "It will take forever to get anything to eat". What a great new local brewery. I started with the Dunkel. Very smooth and tasted excellent. Then I tried the Smokin Goat which is a red pepper ale. Excellent flavor and a little kick at the end. I also tried the Smokin Goat as a mixer with tomato juice. That was very good as well. The food truck was really good too as I had a tamale that was very fresh, tasted great, and came with some really good red mole sauce . Another bonus is they have a DJ playing Vinyl records on Thursdays, and they have corn hole, ping pong, and foosball. I will definitely go back! read more

Stopped by with a couple of buddies after work. The beer was good. About the same as the other breweries in the area. My problem was that they would not fill up my growler. They said you had to buy their special "canned beer". That doesn't make sense to me. They lost a sale (and probably my business in the future) just because they wanted to push their own "canned" beer. A sale is a sale. I guess if I want to fill up my growler I have to go elsewhere. Thankfully there a quite a few other places with great beer close by! read more
