We must have arrived at the right moment because we could ask questions and no pressure to hurry up. I selected a flight, and my daughter got an IPA. We were also interested in their merch. They have a great sticker selection. I got a glass as well. She got a shirt. We both were surprised at some top tier brews. Later, there was a line so we had to wait to get the merch, by then we did not care. I'd give it a 5 if not for the parking mishap. So, we parked all the way in back, and while inside that bit of the lot was padlocked shut. The food truck guy gave us attitude and said we were stuck. We had to walk around the entire building twice to find someone to let us out. He however was kind about it. Advice-do not park all the way in the back. Do not go into the gated area.

Xul Beer on trivia night (Tuesday) is a whole vibe--super crowded but still plenty of seating, which was nice. The food truck burger always hits, but heads up: they stop taking orders at 8:30 PM. One of our friends came late and missed out, so plan accordingly. Drink lines can get long, but they move fast and the staff handles it well. I got the PB&J blackberry and it never disappoints. Lots of outdoor seating too--some of my friends brought their dogs, which just made it even better.

This place has the best sours I've ever had! AMAZING. And the service was very friendly, answered any questions, and was prompt. Loved their menu. You can also order small pours or flights to try a bunch. Everything I had was unique and fun. They also get new stuff seasonally so there's always something fun and new to try. Try the PB and J sour if you want something unique and flavorful. That is their best seller. I personally loved the contraband and could drink that always, which has favors of strawberry, cucumber, orange zest, and lime. The brewery was large and spacious .They have a really cute couch area and lots of cozy chairs throughout to sit in. Definitely a favorite in the area!

Okay have I just found my new favorite hang spot?! If you're into local unique breweries, good vibes, meeting new friends, & heavy metal...then this is also YOUR favorite new spot! The staff was super fast to take our orders and friendly even when I asked for change for $100...twice (sorry, thank you!). There is plenty of seating for all comfort levels and physical abilities as well as private restrooms with shared sinks. If you run out of seats indoors, there is a separate seating area in the back and the outdoor tables by the food truck. I was highly impressed by our burgers and fries from the food truck; they were freshly made to order and they text you when they're ready. I can't wait to join one of their trivia or event nights and continue to realize how much I love Knoxville!

Xül Beer: Where your taste buds go to party and never come home. Walked into Xül Beer thinking I'd have a casual drink. Left wondering if I should quit my job and become a full-time beer enthusiast. These people aren't brewing beer--they're crafting liquid happiness with a PhD in flavor. Every pour was smoother than a Spotify Mixtape playlist. The Mixtape flavors? Juicy enough to make you question your life choices up to this point. The stouts? Dark, mysterious, and probably writing poetry somewhere. Even the sours slapped in the best way--like a tangy wake-up call for your soul. The vibe? Immaculate. The staff? Beer wizards. The kind of place where you say "just one drink" and end up making five new friends and naming your future pet after your favorite brew. 10/10 would risk a hangover again. If you're not drinking Xül, wyd?

Xul Beer, how do I love you? Let me count the ways.....wait, there are not enough numbers to count that high! Shoutout to our out-of-state friend, Sean who turned us on to Xul for their PB&J Mixtape. It was love at first sip. After trying it, I was obsessed, and was sad to learn that other than at the brewery, finding it in the wild was going to be like hunting for a four leaf clover! It's started showing up on tap at some of our favorite eateries and bars, but the keg doesn't last long. If you're looking for cans to enjoy at home, the way to get them is at Xul when they offer them for one day only a couple times a year. Been lucky enough to attend a Xul PB&J Mixtape day to stock up. Just this past weekend was an annual PB&J Mixtape Day. So many flavors, such camaraderie in line, including doggos. Food trucks, merch, kettle corn and more rounded out the day. The staff was amazing and helpful and made for a great experience. It's also fun to visit the brewery even when it's NOT Mixtape Day, as they always (I hope?) have a PB&J or so on tape. It gets pretty busy all the time, but it's worth it! PB&J, btw, is a "sour" that is anything but. Imagine a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with different jelly flavors as an alcoholic beverage. You're welcome.

This place is in-freaking-credible. The brews are top tier, the food truck outside, Abridged Beer Co. Burgers on Board, was so incredibly tasty, clean bathrooms, great seating, cool vibes decor, and friendly staff. My husband and I have been on many brew tours in Knoxville, and this one is a MUST on your own, whether official or no! Brews tried: Food tried:

Xul is one of our favorite breweries in Knoxville. They have a great selection of beers, the ambiance is casual and relaxed, and their service is friendly and attentive. While the don't serve food, they have the same food truck most of the time which has really good burgers and fries. One of my favorite beers is PB&J Mixtape which tastes just like a PB&J Uncrustable. Wow! Their other beers - sours, IPA's and others, are all really good. They also have really fun and well-run trivia night on Tuesday nights. I highly recommend Xul. Great place!

The vibes were laid back, groups of all ages, kid friendly, and plenty of seating. The bartenders were helpful in picking out brews to try. Some brews were so popular they had sold out (boo!) but that just lets you know how good it was. Delicious brews - variety of quirky flavors! Blueberry cobbler Pb & J - childhood nostalgia in a glass Sci Fi Matinee - gorgeous pink brew Got some cool merch - hats, tshirts, etc. Heard the burger food truck was the best burgers in Knox. Will have to come back to try.

Came here to snack and visit with friends - really enjoyed the Abridged food truck outside, probably one of the better smash burgers I've had this year. The staff was super friendly. The venue looked awesome inside with plenty of room spread out for everyone to hang out and enjoy. The PBJ Mixtape was definitely a hit of the table and was told to recommend it here!

My Favorite brewery in Tennessee! We have come down to visit family and made special trips just to get some of the beer. Everyone who comes should try their PB&J mixtape beer. The original grape is a personal favorite by far but the variants have all tasted great. Check out their patio and the barcade area with friends and family. It's a must visit if you are passing through or looking for a good brewery to visit!

    Paper Crowns...one of my favorites.

Such great beer. These guys are master with fruited sours. Their PBJ Mixtape is one of the best beers I've ever had. Their cobbler beers will blow your mind. I also enjoy their IPAs. We've been here several times and the service is great; they will make sure you have what you want and they will suggest others to you (giving you tastes of anything). Their ambiance is a great vibe - I love the main room sitting at the bar.
