When X-rays revealed that I would need surgery, I was referred to Dr. Ryan Morgan. Fortunately, the staff were able to get me an appointment to see him the following week. Outpatient surgery was scheduled a week later, and my fracture was screwed and assembled together with a plate. Dr. Morgan's surgery skill is amazing. I hardly experienced any pain, and my recovery with physical therapy was outstanding. He has a friendly manner, and explains everything very thoroughly. His portfolio of patients he has cared for is astonishing from professional athletes to Cirque de Soleil performers (yes, I am "name dropping.." but just to emphasize this guy has EXPERIENCE)!! I had both knee replacements done with Dr. Klapper at Cedar Sinai Hospital in L.A. and he directed me to him stating "He is by far the best PT guy I have ever known. My favorite." But it isn't just his vast knowledge and experience that makes his place great. The energy he brings as Director is just superb. It is a cheerful, immaculate, high energy family with a staff truly dedicated to helping people with a vast array of physical issues. From young athletes to my favorite (though intimidates me) 82 year old who had hip replacement and is a little fireball, everyone is treated with respect, support and enthusiasm. Martin also succeeds at listening politely (despite my being long winded at times and a bit whiney...) by steering you back on the right course with enthusiasm and hope. The place is state of the art. Don't let the smaller space throw you as there is not one piece of equipment missing that might help you recover from what ails you.
