This is really the best medical facility I've ever been to. Staff and therapists are all amazing at what they do and as people also. I've been coming to Pro Health for about half a year and I wish I had been able to come sooner to fix myself up. I've seen every therapist they have and they're all great. It will actually be a sad day when I am don't with pt here! They were able to fix my ankle that had become stiff from scar tissue after 2 sprains. I now do indoor rock climbing with absolutely no issues. My carpal tunnel has improved greatly also! It's hard work and not painless at times. It's worth it to make sure my body is working the way it should be. The facility is clean and you can regularly see them clean it after each patient. It also doesn't smell like a medical facility at all. You are required to wash hands upon arrival which makes total sense. They are prompt and are mindful of your time to make sure that you end your session within the hour. Many times I've been asked if I have enough time for a treatment. It's easy to make appointments even with their long long wait list! At first you might not get the times and days you'd like since they're booked solid for weeks, but eventually booking ahead of time makes for an ideal schedule. They even have a wait list that they put you on to call when appointments get canceled and become available. Yes, they will call you as soon as something opens up! Never had a problem with billing here! They even check your insurance coverage for you and make sure you're getting the benefits you're covered for. To sum it all up, this is how every single medical facility should be run! I've been coming here for a few years now, for different injuries. Most recently, I've been seeing physical therapists here for two different areas. I've only had positive experiences here. The PTs and staff are all professional and extremely friendly. I feel very comfortable here. I'm even comforted when the PTs strongly encourage me to do my exercises regularly when I haven't done my part. All the PTs are knowledgeable and helpful so I don't feel like I'm not getting good service if I don't have a "favorite." read more

I don't as referred to Pto-Health Physical Therapy by my Orthopedic doctor from UCLA. I've been going here for physical therapy for the last few months and the staff are very professional and friendly. I have mostly been treated by Stacy and Kayla during my visits and they listen to what is going on with my frozen shoulder, the pain and progression, and adapted my treatment and exercise regimen to expedite my healing. The front office staff and assistants, including Isabella and Ashley, have all been great. I would give them all six stars if I could. I was referred to Physical Therapy due to sciatica problem. I chose Pro-Health because it is closed to home (about 1.6 miles). I also called 5 others places, but they didn't tick with me; Pro-Health was. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and professional. My therapist, Sylvie, was great and nice. Awesome physical therapy clinic! They have a really great staff that is always super nice and friendly. I was getting a bad repetitive stress injury in my wrist, elbow, and shoulder since working from home since I do not having a good proper desk set up. I've had both Daniela and Elaine and they are both awesome! They both made me feel like I was in good hands and happy to see progress, not like I was just another patient in there. Within my first few sessions my pain really started to disappear and I also got great advice and exercises to do at home if my pain flares up or gets tight which has helped tremendously. I love this place! I've never been to PT before so I didn't know what to expect. My first session was with Daniela and she immediately pinpointed the issues leading to my pain and limited ROM. I could feel a difference just in 1 session, she spent time getting to know my history and we worked together on exercises and received a form of TENS which helped a lot. I'm surprised by the few reviews complaining about the billing. As a physician, I understand the complexities of insurance companies and healthcare billing. I was actually pleasantly surprised when they proactively reached out to my insurance. It is an absolute courtesy that they check with the patient's insurance for deductible information, that is going above and beyond for a healthcare practice. It is ultimately the patient's responsibility to verify coverage and to cover payments for services rendered (like any other industry). The parking is easy and the staff are all so nice and attentive. I would recommend ProHealth to anybody! read more

I utilized the services at Pro-Health for over a year trying to recover from being rear ended by a semi truck. It was a really tough bout with multiple surgeries, pain killers, and acupuncture sessions. It was referred to Pro-Health for physical therapy to regain mobility and improve my walking gate. With the help and patience from all the staff there, I was able to walk without the use of a walker and cane. Everyone listens and tries their best to ensure your privacy and dignity, plus encouraging you to help you achieve your goal, not their goal. They work in close collaboration with the Providence spine institute, which o was blessed to have them perform my spine and cervical surgeries. I've been coming here for PT on my knee for about 2.5 months. I've seen both Elaine and Gen who are great! Genevieve has treated me through three back surgeries, a neck fusion, and treatment for carpal tunnel. She is an amazing therapist! Best I've ever seen and I've been to a lot of them over the years. I've been a client, at various times, for ~15 years or so. Over the years, they've treated me for separate injuries- knee, shoulder and back. Most recently (May 2020), I had a full knee replacement. I had the option of seeing the outstanding P.T. staff at Kerlan -Jobe (prestigious orthopedic surgery and rehab facility for pro athletes- Lakers, Kings etc.). Instead, I again chose Daniela & Genevieve at Pro-Health. For me it was a "no-brainer." Gen & Daniela own and operate the clinic. They share decades of combined experience. A client centered emphasis is evident in every aspect of their operation- an experience only caring and thoughtful owner/practitioners could provide. While the smooth running and client centered approach is great, I'm interested in getting better. Which is why even if the overall client experience wasn't top notch, I'd still go to Pro Health. Simply put I believe Gen & Daniela, as well all the other physical therapists at Pro Health, are the best in the business because of their training, extensive experience, and passion to help people get better. I don't think my post full knee replacement rehab would be anywhere near as successful had I not been a Pro Health PT client. read more

This is my first review as I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a Billing department office member when they made an error. I want all new patients to be extra careful in checking your benefits for physical therapy with Pro-Health. I always check my insurance benefits but was assured by their front desk that they would confirm the benefits for me as a courtesy. They told me I did not need to see a doctor for the first 10 visits and that they confirmed that my co-pay would be EXACTLY $7.50/visit. With that information, I decided to pursue treatment and even had my husband start treatment for an old injury that he had. That was definitely a factor that solidified my decision to start therapy with them to address a problem with my knee and my husbands shoulder. Months after we started treatment literally at the end of our 10 visits I was informed that the amount was not $7.50/visit but Hundreds of dollars for the previous appts. This was a huge unexpected shock that was delivered to me by an assistant therapist prior to my appt. As you can imagine I was shocked and frustrated as I thought I could trust them and now I was stuck with this huge bill. I did express my frustration with this news and the therapist at the front desk was actually the one who verified benefits and made the mistake and felt really bad. I too was feeling very bad and just could not believe what I was just told. Because they have an open office I was told that other therapists heard my frustration and they were upset that I was talking unkindly to there assistant. Just to be clear, I did not yell or swear but yes I was upset. They should have never had her deliver this type of oversight to me at my appt. Not sure what they expected me to do. It was not a pleasant conversation. Bottom line is I was told how awful I was and asked to not come back and was still responsible for the bill. They assumed no responsibility for anything. No apology nothing. I am fighting this with my insurance company but their records show that when benefits were discussed they did give them the correct information and the mistake was with Pro Health . They told me to file a claim under the Bait and Switch as providers of service can not mislead customers to receive treatment by telling them one cost and then changing it months later even if it was their mistaken understaning from an insurance company. I chose Pro-Health Physical Therapy because of their stellar Yelp reviews and their close proximity to my old house. I had never been to PT, so I had no one else to compare them with. I did 6 weeks of treatment before stopping. I never felt like a valued client. The front desk people were neither warm nor friendly (this was Oct 2016). I always had to wait at least 10-15 minutes to be seen when I was on time for my appointments. The assistant that would put my heating pads on seemed very depressed/hated her job. I felt uncomfortable and my discomfort grew with each appointment. I was annoyed that they would move me to different PT without letting me know and then act like I was informed. The practice was gossipy. However, all the PTs were nice, friendly and seemed to do good work. I was always, for the most part, happy with each physical therapist. The place is clean, and they provide garments to wear for your session. I was always charged the correct amount. I have since moved to S. Redondo and began PT with a different practice and am super happy. The new practice feels so welcoming and warm. I know exactly who I am working with. Everyone goes out of their way to make me feel valued and comfortable. They even fed my son and me Girl Scout Cookies. An assistant gives me a personal training session each and every time I am there. They watch my form with each move and are encouraging. My PT worked on me for 45 minutes today before my half hour personal training. I felt pain free for the first time since October! I LOVE my new practice, and now feel confident writing a 3 star review for this practice. read more

I just had another telehealth PT session and I am sooooo glad that they are doing this!! I'm 10 weeks out from shoulder surgery. Having telehealth visits has helped me progress on a good schedule. With the video conference my therapist can demonstrate the exercises and can watch me do them. I also get the customized exercises over the internet (secured) with short videos in case I need a refresher. And it's covered by my insurance! I'm confident that I will get full movement back and doing telehealth is a big part of that. It's really more valuable than I thought it would be. read more

This is an outstanding physical therapy clinic. Genevieve brings an enormous amount of technical knowledge and really engaged me at a technical level. I learned a lot from her not just about how to improve the condition of my knee injury but also how knee biomechanics work. Despite only having been able to go in just a few times before COVID-19 hit, I was able to continue therapy through trlehealth sessions that were surprisingly effective. It took a few months but I feel way better now. Genevieve also set me up with a bunch of preventive exercises so that I don't hurt myself again in the future. I've been injured a lot over the years and have seen my fair share of PTs. Overall, this has been a great experience and I recommend Pro-Health without reservation. read more

I could never have imagined that I could get this much better faster! After playing numerous volleyball tournaments, my neck and shoulder were in a spasm and super painful. I even went to the medical tents they had at the tournaments and all they were able to do was massage and put KT on. I went to Pro-Health and one of their PTs Daniela Aleksich was AMAZING and immediately could tell what was wrong. She popped my ribs back into place and massaged the knots out that were giving me a lot of pain. She then used cupping, laser, and showed me exercises to prevent the pain from happening again. The knowledge and level of care I received was extremely impressive and helpful. I have never felt that much better after going to a PT. I highly recommend going there! read more
