    Mango pomelo yogurt
    Amelia C.

Pricey for a drink they didn't fill to the top. I ordered 2 mango pomelo yogurts. I didn't order jelly with it. They left an inch empty at the top because the lady said that's where the jelly would have been... But I paid for my drink full price ($8.xx) so I feel like they could have filled the cup AT LEAST. Overall, it tasted good. It's definitely a heavier drink and will make you feel full afterwards. Clean and neat inside.

Friendly and efficient service. The girl operating the register is very patient. I think my husband's yogurt slush tastes better than my bubble yogurt----brown sugar bubbles just don't go well with yogurt, in my opinion.

    Strawberry Mochi Yogurt

This place is soooo good I had to stop by for the second time during my trip in Philly. We had the strawberry yogurt mochi, strawberry rice yogurt, Oreo yogurt mochi, peach mochi and the strawberry chewy rice. All were excellent in taste and textures and very filling for a small cup. Service was fast and quick! Side note, if you are backed up this will clear your system out.

I heard a lot of hype around this place when it first opened, and I have tried out their drinks here on two separate occasions. At its core, I think if you love thick yogurt drinks, this place is for you. I got their mochi yogurt and their fruit yogurt, and I thought they were okay. The drinks are freshly made, creamy, and on the sweeter side. I'm taking a star off because I don't really love the texture of their mochi. It's more soft and mushy instead of the chewy mochi that I was hoping for. Because it was soft, there was no texture variation that I wanted, so it was just a bit unexpected - but I know other people who enjoy it, it's just not for me. Service wise, it's also a super long wait, because this place is popular. The first time I came here, I waited probably for more than half an hour. The second time, the wait was around 15 minutes. There's seating in the back, and the ambiance is cute inside. Price-wise, these drinks come out to $8/9 each

A Popular & Hip Venue-Worth the Hype! This place is always buzzing-when I passed by earlier, there was a long line. But when we stopped in after lunch today, it was surprisingly quiet with no wait! The drinks are pricey but delicious, making them totally worth it. We wanted to try the Red Dates Rice Yogurt, but it was sold out. Instead, we ordered: 5*Red Bean Tangerine Peel Yogurt Slush(陈皮红豆酸酸冰) A fantastic drink! True to its name, it had a bright tangerine flavor with plenty of red beans at the bottom. 5*Matcha Cream Cake 抹茶奶油蛋糕 So good I almost licked the container clean! I'm already planning my next visit--there's so much more on the menu I want to try.

If you like yogurt you'll definitely love these drinks, it's a healthier alternative than your standard boba. I like that they have mochi topping options, the texture is a nice addition. The worker in the front was very energetic and kind. Just a bit expensive (~$7) for the size.

I came across this shop while strolling around Chinatown. It is a drink shop with a yogurt base. To me, it is different from other places because of the yogurt base and the unique toppings in the drink. We tried the peach yogurt mochi, the mango rice yogurt, and the matcha mochi yogurt. The mochi is much more liquidy (in a good way) and drinkable and different from mochi balls. The rice was purple and chopped/ground into bits so it is easier to drink. It is different. I thought it was interesting but the kids did not like this. The drink itself is much more tart than your typical smoothie type drinks. I liked the mochi yogurt drinks and probably will stick with different flavors of this. I think the shop has only been open for about 2 months or so. It is generally slower than the other tea shops. They also have frozen yogurt sticks/bricks in a cup, which seems like it could be hard to eat. Overall, I recommend trying it out if you want something a little different from the typical tea shops.

Absolutely obsessed. This place is worth the hype -- and judging by the line out the door all day, I'm clearly not the only one who thinks so. Yogurt-based drinks might sound niche, but once you try one, you're hooked. The yogurt is super thick and creamy, but still totally drinkable -- kind of like sipping a dessert and a probiotic all in one. I got the peach mochi yogurt, and it was a full experience. The mochi is chewy but drinkable, like a snack floating in your drink. Genius. Friends got the grape and strawberry, and both were fresh, tart-sweet, and ridiculously good. It's the kind of drink that makes you rethink your usual boba order. They were so popular that a few flavors even ran out while we were there -- a good sign you're in the right spot. The space itself is clean, modern, and super cute, with plenty of seating. You can see the staff making everything up front -- and even with the line wrapping around, they move fast. Just a really fun, hip little hangout -- perfect for a girls' meetup, a long chat, or even just a solo treat-yourself stop. 10/10, will absolutely be back.

I tried to try this new addition to Chinatown on their second day of the opening but the line was about a block long. So I decided to wait for another month. When I got there on Saturday afternoon, I did not have to wait too long to get the service. The menu is on the screen by the register. You can customize the sugar content. The staff was very nice and warned me that the taste would not be the best without the sugar. I was told that it would take about 20 minutes to get the order. There are plenty of seats at the back of the store. You can track your order number on the screen. Without the sugar, the drinks are sweet enough to enjoy. Mangoes are fresh and perfect to cool down on a hot day. When i left the store, the line was getting longer starting the corner of the street. I wish there are menus on the wall so you can make the selection while waiting in line.

Rating this three stars for now, but I'll definitely be returning to try something different. I ordered the Rose Rice yogurt not realizing it had actual pieces of rice in it. I got it merely for the rose flavor. I should have listened to the employee and chosen from the list of the most popular drinks. It wasn't bad, but the consistency of the rice was throwing me off. The establishment was very clean and the workers were friendly. I have no issue with either of those, but I wasn't a huge fan of my yogurt selection.

I visited Yogost about 6 days after their grand opening after I saw them on Instagram. Their drinks looked delicious and there's been so much hype around the brand. The interior of the store was very modern and carefree vibe. There was limited seating and not a lot of room to accomadate groups which is unfortunate because there is a lot of potential for this location to be a good hangout spot with friends. Nonetheless, me and my group planned to take our drinks togo (pictures below are the drink at home). There was a line out the door which tool about 20 mins. The store itself is pretty small with limited areas to sit. The cashier who took my order was clear about their drinks and the ordering process was seamless. I waited about 30 mins for my drink which was expected given the long line. I decided to get one of their fan favorites, the peach mango yogurt. The drink wasn't too sweet which appealed to my tastebuds. The size was perfect given that yogurt can be pretty heavy. I realized that it is valuable to mix the drink as much as you can to combine the firm yogurt at the bottom and the liquid drink above it. The presentation of the drink was similar to that of the picture on the menu. Overall, I rate it a solid 8/10, it satisfied my sweet tooth. It was a standard drink, nothing extravagant but it did prove to be a good picture worthy drink.

I'm in no position to refuse. Brand new spot with an opening ecclesiastical line reminding me of Luscious' opening except that I am hopeful for this place to actually stick around (even if there is another yogurt spot right down the street). As any consumer, I'm motivated by stingy deals, and their opening deals were better than most (img attached). The store layout also makes sense and mic-drop for the delightful back seating area and functional restroom. The STRAWBERRY MOCHI was a delight though unexpected; yogurt less tart and mochi more soft/dissolved. The drinks are priced high for how small they are and the fact they are a chain. But I'll give them 5 star for now because overall we enjoyed it (yerrp, even waiting in line). As a drink addict, looking forward to taking more people here instead of hitting the usual tea/dessert spots that have been botoxed for quite a few years.

Went second day of grand opening. Will update other stuff later but wanted to write down drink reviews before I forget Drink reviews in no order: Rose lychee yogurt (100% ice/50% sugar)- more lychee than rose flavor; sweetness just right Avocado yogurt (100% ice/100% sugar)- not sweet at all; taste made it seem the avocados used were probably slightly underripe; would recommend getting extra sugar if you want slightly sweet Fresh strawberry yogurt (0% ice/0% sugar)- legit tasted like strawberries + Greek yogurt; worker advised NOT to do this but I wanted to try it anyway. Tasted like fresh strawberries and would get it (50% ice/50% sugar) next time and would prob like it a lot Yakult mango yogurt (100% ice/50% sugar)- flavor and sweetness spot on; plus comes in a cute yakult shaped bottle Osmanthus rice yogurt (100% ice/100% sugar)- confirmed that I would not like the rice texture.. distracted me from the taste Peach mango yogurt (100% ice/100% sugar)- a bit too sweet but flavor is there; would get 50% next time Hawthorn strawberry yogurt smoothie (100% ice/100% sugar)- had more of a "strawberry jam" taste than the fresh strawberry yogurt + too sweet; would get 0% or 50% sugar and might be better. FYI not possible to get less ice since its a smoothie Matcha mochi yogurt (50% ice/100% sugar)- mochi is "looser/stickier" but may be firmer if you choose 100% ice. I would get 100% sugar again but maybe try 50%.

We joked that I should keep visiting different ChiCha locations around the world to compare. There were a handful of customers sitting around when we arrived weekday mid-afternoon. The staff only had one customer waiting for their drink and no one waiting to order until we came. They only have one kiosk which I think is inefficient unless their traffic isn't that high. I ordered my usual: high mountain pouchong, light ice, less sweet, grass jelly. In terms of tea flavor, I think it's pretty on par with the other ChiCha locations. If I had to rank them it'd be: Boston, New York = Philly = Hong Kong, Chicago

It was naturally sweet without tasting artificial, allowing the floral notes of the tea to come through. The Dong Ding Tea was the standout for me smooth, aromatic, and incredibly clean-tasting with a rich, roasted finish that lingered pleasantly after each sip. It's the kind of tea you can slowly enjoy and appreciate. If you're looking for authentic, high quality tea instead of overly sweet bubble tea, ChiCha San Chen is definitely worth visiting. I'll absolutely be back to explore more of their menu!

I accidentally added extra boba after starting the payment process, and another charge was mistakenly processed. The employee immediately got her manager involved when I expressed concern about being charged twice. The manager explained that the extra charge would most likely fall off automatically and reassured me that if it didn't, I could call the shop and they would take care of it. Thankfully, she was absolutely right--the duplicate charge was refunded without any issues. Looking back, it was partly my fault because I tend to rush through payment and make additions at the last minute. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm on that side of town.

They definitely seem consistent, which I really appreciate. I came with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, and wow... this place was packed. Even with the crowd, the staff stayed friendly and worked quickly, so we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. One thing I still love is the seating. They have giant plushies sitting in the booths, so if you're by yourself, you're not just awkwardly staring at an empty seat across from you. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that, but I think it's a cute touch. The matcha here is the real deal. It's bright green, fragrant, and has that rich, earthy flavor with just enough natural bitterness that you know they're using quality matcha. A lot of places advertise matcha, but this one actually delivers. I ordered one of their matcha desserts with ice cream, and it was creamy, refreshing, and let the matcha flavor shine instead of burying it under sugar. My only complaint is that it was pretty warm inside. It was a hot summer day, and I honestly couldn't tell if the air conditioning was running or if it was just fans. Either way, it wasn't very cool inside. Thankfully I had ice cream, so it didn't bother me too much, but it's something to keep in mind if you're stopping by on a really hot day. I was overheated from being in the sun for 20 minutes, so that poster was very appealing to me. I kept thinking about it throughout my meal at Sky Café. Therefore, my friend and I truly trotted over afterwards. When we were deciding what drink to get, we noticed a young guy with an elderly grandma who bought many snacks from their shelves and fridge, so my friend and I went to browse too. We don't go to Vietnamese cafes and markets much, so many things we saw there looked interesting to us. Unfortunately we couldn't try everything, so we just window shopped. My friend ordered the Kumquat Thai Tea. It tastes like what it sounds like but that actually bothered my friend lol. When I tried it, I was surprised by how it's not as refreshing as I expected. I think the Thai tea base could be more clear. The cup wasn't sealed properly, so tea kept spilling as we walked. I didn't want to get the wintermelon tea, because I saw prebatched bottles in the fridge, so I would question what's the difference ordering with them vs grabbing a bottle myself. Therefore I decided to order the cane juice hoping that it will be good for the summer heat. They said they ran out, so I got the citrus lemongrass tea instead. I'm amused they gave a slice of orange. My drink was more refreshing, and it's a more unique flavor than generic cafes out there so I'm pleased. It wasn't too sweet. The café has cute wooden benches and tables. The selection of Vietnamese snacks were intriguing and should be legit given the old grandma bought a lot. Even though I don't know how realistic it is for me to come again, but I'd want to!
