I've been a regular since the beginning, and I have tried their white champaca milk tea, snowy jasmine, white champaca oolong milk tea, dancong oolong milk tea, and even their holiday special jasmine apple milk tea. I have to say, though, I initially really liked this spot because of their strong tea and floral notes, but I have noticed the quality has gone downhill, even though they are still swarmed with customers. I stopped by yesterday to grab their premium jasmine milk tea (which is their signature drink that they're most well known for), but to my disappointment, it was heavily milk forward to the point where the tea flavor and the signature Jasmine floral notes were completely drowned out. I really hope that this was a one time thing and that they would stick true to what they are known for (high quality drinks that are not too sweet and tea forward). The shop itself is undeniably aesthetic. It's sleek, modern, and very clean with their signature pink branding everywhere. I went during Christmas time, and they had Christmas decorations up, and they were playing Christmas music in the background. You mostly order using their kiosks, which definitely makes the experience more efficient. The workers are friendly and very efficient in getting the drinks out as fast as they can. One unique detail worth mentioning is their signature straw. It has three small holes instead of one big opening. It's designed to force you to sip slower so you can actually smell the floral aroma and taste the foam and tea layers together. We headed over for an afternoon pick me up at around 3:30 pm on a Friday in the campus area. There were quite a few people there ordering at the kiosks but our orders came out in under 5 minutes. They had some seating inside, definitely easy if you go in with a smaller party. Premium Jasmine Matcha - The matcha was so rich and grassy, love that they put it as a cream top so you can taste the full flavor of it before mixing it all together. I love how strong the matcha flavor came through even after mixing in the jasmine milk. My sister had a pistachio drink and I loved the flavor of the pistachio foam which was sweet and nutty. Their tea base was pretty good. They are more concentrated in green tea than black tea though. But if you're a green tea lover or jasmine tea, this place is a go to place to grab yourself a drink. I had a Tongmu Lapsang Milk Tea which I like the stronger tea taste than milk taste. Will definitely go back to try other drinks too. I also love the interior of the store. I am so bummed this opened right after I moved out of the building. Very small lovely spot. What I love: 1. Unique selection of floral teas 2. Truly lightly sweetened - your stereotypical (boba) tea shoppe is still super sweet even with less sugar which cloys after a few sips. At Molly, it is continuously refreshing. 3. Truly light on ice - your tea never gets diluted over time 4. Friendliness - all the staff have been very pleasant. I asked one person what theyre favorite was and everyone started chiming in their favorites too... like very eagerly too , so now I can't wait to come back and try more. Very good people to be in company with. 5. Attention to detail/presentation - I saw a team member dribble a bit of cream over a and she meticulously wiped it off with clean towelS. She used two clean towels to wipe a single dribble. Any cleaner she'd need q-tips and a UV light. So far I tried two floral teas White Champaca Milk Tea and Gardenia Milk Tea (more subtle). I don't have a refined enough palate to further elaborate on the floral flavor profiles but I really enjoyed both. My husband not so much but he doesn't like tea much to begin with let alone floral teas. 0.99 to add sago is a bit steep since sago is such a cheap product so I am bummed about that. I got the jasmine mango smoothie. It was like an icy mango slush on top of coconut milk. It was a good amount of sweetness. I especially loved how you could taste the jasmine through the mango smoothie part, but it wasn't overpowering. My only complaint is that I felt that there were crystal jelly balls inside and that unexpected for me and textually too different for me. First time at this location! We tried the Snowy Gardenia (50% sweet) and the White Champaca Matcha (50% sweet). Both were delicious and around $8 each. The Snowy Gardenia is their gardenia milk tea topped with a signature jasmine whipped cream and crushed (candied?) pecans. The tea itself was beautifully floral and paired so well with their house whipped cream, which was light, airy, and infused with fragrant jasmine. I loved that they even provided a spoon to taste specifically the whipped cream. The White Champaca Matcha was just as unique, with smooth green milk tea and matcha powder blended into their cheese foam. The drink was creamy, earthy, and perfectly balanced when all mixed together. The shop has about six small tables inside that comfortably fit two people each, along with a couple more tables outside. While a few people were working, most were there to chat. Despite a long line when we arrived, the drinks came out quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. And this place says that it's the specialty of the house. Which means that it should be absolutely delicious. It was not. I ordered a hot jasmine milk tea with half sugar. I don't know if the tea was not the freshest, but it had that kind of vibe. Which is to say that the vibrancy of flavor and aroma seemed muted. The tea was also either brewed weakly or there was too much milk to tea in the ratio. It wasn't exactly bad, but my expectations were set high and it failed to deliver. I'll go again and try one of their more fun bubble tea drinks, but just on the taste of their jasmine tea alone I have to give them a middling rating. read more

I came here to take advantage of their 12 percent discount during the soft opening and buy one get one free during the grand opening. The staff was very professional and friendly. They were wearing pink masks to ensure that everything was hygienic and headsets for better communication. There are two self ordering stations to move the line faster. Very cute and clean store with big adorable mascot to take pictures with. Several seats both outdoor and indoor. During grand opening, the line started to build up before the opening hour at 11. Several staff members went out to distribute menus before the store opened so that customers were ready to order when they got to the counter. I got free jasmine scented sachet because I posted an Instagram photo. I love it, natural jasmine fragrance that can brightens up your day. The line was quite long but there was enough staff who prepares the order fast. Once your order is ready, your order number is displayed on the screen. Very efficient work flow. The carry out bag is cute and sturdy because they put cardboard at the bottom. Nicely sealed too. Jasmine milk tea is my favorite. I tried both the regular milk and oat milk. The peach one is nice with subtle peach flavor. My least favorite is champaca milk tea, it has a usual floral taste. read more

I got the new salted cheese drink on 10/18 and didn't open the bag until I got home and it didn't have the tear to win lucky cup sticker on it and they didn't give me a bingo card either... First time going to Molly Tea and ended up trying a jasmine tea with crystal boba that was recommended by a friend. This would not be a typical choice for me but I decided to try it. The drink looked really pretty and was okay. I opted for less ice but there was a lot of ice in it still and it didn't take too long before I was finished the drink.
