Out of all the new tea chains from China that opened in the US recently, HeyTea will always be one of my favorites. Love the fresh ingredients, the flavor profile and the selection in general. I love the kale boost tea, refreshing and I hope (somewhat) healthy. Pro tip: order ahead on their app, super easy user interface and just efficient in general.

DO NOT GO TO HEYTEA IF YOU ARE VEGAN!!! This is why I absolutely cannot stand chinese chain boba tea shops they have no knowledge or awareness of a dairy free drink- who drinks boba with whole milk? I ordered a triple supreme matcha only to sip and taste the nasty flavor of cow mucus. I also complained to the staff saying how dare they not mention that it has dairy, their drinks do not have modifications. No vegan matcha here. I had to get the kale tea. What a letdown!

This was my first time trying HeyTea, and I'm honestly impressed! I'm not usually a fan of fruity drinks, but this one might've changed my mind. I came on a weekday around 7 PM, and it was pretty empty. Only one other customer was at the store. The cashier was nice, but she spoke so softly that I had trouble hearing her. I ended up ordering a small Mango Grapefruit Bloom, which has mango, grapefruit, coconut milk, and sago. From the first sip, I was hooked. It was super refreshing with the perfect burst of sweetness, and the chewy toppings were so good. I'd definitely come back to try more flavors, but I have to admit, the price is a bit much. A small drink was $8.15, which is kind of crazy for one drink. It's worth it as a treat, but not something I'd splurge on every day.

I ordered 2 of the mango coconut bloom and it was delicious. By far my favorite drink. I think they use fresh mango and it's sweet in a good way. It's a very refreshing drink. I also got the strawberry one, which was also pretty good. I'm definitely coming back for the mango coconut bloom drink! The reason why I gave it a 3 star is because I didn't feel welcomed when I came in. I had ordered on my phone, and went in when it was ready, but when I went to the front where it said pick up, no one acknowledged me. I stood there for at least 7-10 mins before I had to loudly call for someone's help. Only then did anyone even glanced over and finally helped me. Overall, the drinks I had very delicious, but the service from the employees were terrible; hence the 3 star.

I ordered ahead through their app, and my drink was ready when I arrived. I got the matcha jasmine latte, and it was delicious--the matcha and jasmine tea complemented each other perfectly without one overpowering the other. I opted for less sugar, which made it just the right level of sweetness. The space is smaller compared to other locations I've visited, with a few bench seats available. I'd definitely come back to try more of their drinks.

Love this place!! The shop is always spotless and welcoming, with that fresh tea aroma as soon as you walk in. The Blue Cloud is my go to, and the Mango is always on point. Consistently refreshing and delicious!

HeyTea has taken NYC by storm; they've expanded rapidly since they first opened on Broadway. They're known for their fruit teas and cheese foams, featuring signature drinks like Coconut Mango Boom and Cheese Grape Boom, though they've recently introduced an exclusive Matcha Zen series. We ordered two drinks and let me start by saying this location's service, speed, and efficiency absolutely suck. Two weeks into grand opening, staff continue to fail at the basics: making and serving drinks in the order in which they were taken. We waited 25 minutes, while one drink sat on the counter, melting, and the numbers after us were called. * Matcha Bobo Shake $7.49 My curiosity got the better of me here. It's supposed to be a slushie made with their premium matcha, blended milk, matcha cheese foam, and signature brown sugar bobo. Instead, what I got was a creamy but lukewarm matcha drink with clumpy boba. * Grapefruit Boom (Original) $6.99 A HeyTea original, featuring fresh ruby red grapefruit slices, juicy grapefruit pulp, and crisp and refreshing jasmine green tea. We ordered this with zero sugar and it was positively thirst-quenching.

I drove by around 6:45pm, see no line, and went in to get a large tea. I am not a fan of any bubble tea shop. I just want the experience to taste any shop that is new. Cashier girl is friendly. The other employees work on my drink right away. I only waited less than 5 min which is really time saving. There are few sitting benches, clean and bright. My drink: I like it. With every sip , I have mixture of the ingredients, crystal balls, icee, mango taste, and coconut flavor. The sip was flavorful and fun. Good to try. I wish they can have the no sugar or 25% sugar choice). Mine is 50%,sugar, regular ice and large cup.

Mango coconut boom added jelly and bobo!

There's a lot of bubble tea competition in the area so it's nice to see them thriving. My usual rotation is: Wonder Grape - light and refreshing, my most ordered drink Hojicha Latte - my caffeine pick when I want that roasted flavor Coco Mango - more of a dessert drink, reminds me of mango sai mai lo Mochi O Sesame - dessert like, creamy and satisfying Pomegranate Burst - my no caffeine antioxidant pink drink during that time Persimmon series - my actual favorite but it only shows up during the fall season They also have snacks like popcorn chicken, crispy chicken burgers, and eggy waffles. One thing though, this location doesn't seem to carry the cauliflower that I've had and liked from other Jooy spots. I still think their older signature drinks are the most reliable. Some of the newer series feel a little rushed. I tried the pear series and the pear tasted unripe while the pomelo was a lot which made the drink come out pretty bitter. The guava series was also too light when I tried it, almost like guava tinted tea.

Tried the recommended guava matcha cream, really delicious and not too sweet. I did ask for less ice but it still seemed a lot to me and the cream was good however next time I'll try without. It is pricey but a nice treat once in a while.

Almost all other tea shops in this neighborhood close pretty early so that definitely sets this establishment apart. The milk tea was made well, just the appropriate amount of sweetness. I will say the Boba was slightly over cooked and on the gummier, softer side. The tea flavor selection is a little bit limited I feel, but not entirely a dealbreaker. They offer some savory snacks as well which I would be curious to try next time. Overall, solid spot for some authentic milk tea.

My sister and I have passed by this place multiple times in the past, though we never stopped by to try any of their drinks. This past Saturday, my sister wanted to try someplace new, so we decided to go to Upwind. When we walked in, there were only two staff: a tea-rista/cashier and a tea-rista in training. Both were very patient as we looked through the menu. My sister ended up ordering the kumquat lemon green tea with no sugar, and I really liked how the tea-rista/cashier advised that she get it with 30% sugar as it may be too sour for her taste. My sister reassured her that she wanted it with no sugar, and then the tea-rista in training proceeded to make her drink. The kumquat lemon green tea was tart like my sister preferred, the service was quick, and the staff were very nice. Overall, pleasant experience.
