I've had Molly Tea several times already and their drinks are pretty good. Their teas are fragrant and recommended sugar level is perfect for me. They have promotions once in a while like BOGOs, so when that happens, wait times to get the drinks can be very long. I recently bought bogo drinks and the order line was empty, but the pickup line was long. It took about 30+ min to get my drinks. I'm so used to matcha and jasmine flavors now, so I wanted to try something different. I had the tongmu lapsang salted cheese milk tea and I liked it. Never heard of tongmu lapsang but Google says it's a type of smoked black tea from China. The drink had notes of hazelnut in it. I never had a nutty, chocolatey tea flavor combo before so it was refreshing to taste.
Came here on a Friday afternoon and got their Snowy Jasmine Tea- 5/5 . The line seems quite long but it goes fairly fast. Snowy Jasmine Tea-5/5; not too sweet and the original Jasmine Tea is the best of Molly Teas drink imo. Ambiance: 5/5- the store is like a high end boba store. It gives off the Van Cleef vibes except it's like giving pink boba Van Cleef vibes. Customer service- 5/5- always fast, polite, and they take cash & card. Overall, would comeback again! Their teas never disappoint!
As a tea fanatic, I absolutely had to step in here to see what the buzz is about. Molly tea is an institution with lines for days and the prettiest floral aesthetic. I heard they really gained ground in Flushing and expanded from there, so I was confident I was in for a treat. It was a hot Saturday afternoon and the tea shop was probably as busy as it gets. It took about half an hour for our order to be fulfilled, which honestly wasn't so bad considering how big the crowd was. One thing though - it smelled absolutely disgusting and horrid inside, like a peculiar mix of sewer, sweat and puke combined. I'm not sure if there was an "incident" that particular day or if this location always smells this bad but it was rancid enough where I simply couldn't stand inside and opted to wait outside in the heat. The matcha tea I got was absolutely phenomenal though. The matcha foam was delicious and the proportion of the foam to the tea was perfect. The tea had a beautiful jasmine floral note that was a perfect background to the matcha. This is probably one of the best matchas I've had. Our drinks were packaged with care so we were able to carry them home on the train with no problem or spilling. They really gotta do something about the foul odor though....
Great tea but long wait!!! Personally, I think that the milk teas kinda taste like perfume.The milk and tea have a perfect blend. The tea is very rich compared to other boba brands. I didn't like that they have a store full of staff but I had to wait 30 mins for two drinks. If you could order ahead on hungry panda or other apps, please do so! Also they didn't give me a boba straw for my order of Tapioca. By the time I realized I was already out and about
After having jumped on the Hey Tea hype train, I needed to try out Molly Tea to see how they compare. I think what differentiates Molly Tea from many other bubble tea places is their use of real tea and the aroma is very apparent from the onset. I had the Snowy Jasmine and it was a unique drink. The service was really nice, the place was clean, and it was a pleasant experience.
Saw a pink cup and had to check it out. Ordered the Jasmine whipped cream with pecan and oolong tea. It was good but one of the pricer bubble tea shops on 8th Ave. I never order whip cream but it was supposedly jasmine flavored which I didn't appreciate. The tea itself was good though. Was the price justified? Eh I just need to walk half a block and pay half the price for something similar.

I was thrilled to try their NEW floral brewed tea series, and every drink was a perfect match--right on the sweet spot! The pistachio cheese foam was a winner for me. I got a free scented sachet -- they're doing a promotion to give away free scented sachet or shopping bag if you buy two drinks. ＊Pistachio Jasmine Coco $7.99 ** ＊Pistachio White Champaca $7.99 ** At my first glance, I already knew I would LOVE these drinks -- LOOK AT THAT PISTACHIO CHEESE FOAM!! Perfectly creamy, nutty and topped with crushed pistachio, just like pistachio cheesecake. It is a double pistachio experience with their signature fragrant tea. ＊Premium Iced Tea $4.59 ＊Gardenia Iced Tea $4.59 * The gardenia ice tea was a surprise hit! So aromatic, minty and refreshing. I've never had tea like this before

The pistachio jasmine coco was refreshing with a yummy pistachio cream and nice jasmine tea. Mango smoothie was also light, very little mango taste. Despite the drinks being good, I don't think it was worth the 35+ minute wait. We ordered 2 drinks and we saw people who came after us leave. They seem to prioritize their mobile orders more than the in-person orders.
I love the jasmine tea flavor and this might be my new favorite tea shop, but this place is always so busy with online orders. The last two times I've come in person, it took 20-30 min to receive my drink. Would probably save more time to order ahead. They aren't taking orders through the Molly tea app at this point so you have to go thru a third party food app.

The interior is super cute with the visually striking pink though, so it made the waiting a little bit amusing. We ordered the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea and the Mango Jasmine Shake. We actually timed how long it took for us to get our drinks. It took about 15 minutes for two drinks, but I can see why due to the store's popularity and people order 4-5 drinks each. While the drinks were good, the Jasmine flavor in the milk tea was excellent. It was super floral and rich. I just wished it didn't take so long to get the drinks. Will definitely visit when the popularity dies down.

Your order number is on the digital board and you'll know when your drink is being prepared or ready. My favorite drink here is the Iced Premium Jasmine Milk Tea. It's sooo fragrant and aromatic. I usually get 30% sugar and it's perfect for me. This is the only drink that my husband and I do not share a cup and that says a lot about how good a cup of Molly is! For those who didn't realize yet, Molly is literally how you say, "jasmine" in mandarin. My husband pointed it out to me, and it totally make sense! I guess this is a way that my husband is trying to tell me that he is a bigger fan of Molly Tea than I am! Molly Tea seems to have a lot of promotions going on like free gifts during holidays so be sure to follow them on social media for the details!
I'll admit that I had none to low expectations before I went to Molly Tea. I'd seen their cute pink bags everywhere, but the reviews I heard about the drinks weren't exactly great. Jasmine tea is not usually my go to, so I was not super excited to try this spot either. Not by choice, I finally had the chance to try one of their drinks and I played it safe with the Premium Jasmine Super Matcha. It was good, better than I expected, smooth and pleasant. The drink was nothing special, I'd be okay with a Matcha latte from a coffee shop instead and tea from elsewhere. Overall, Molly Tea isn't bad, but it's not a spot I'd go out of my way for, especially with at least three better options nearby. Cute bags, though.
I am excited about Molly Tea's new location on 8th Ave as I no longer need to venture all the way to Flushing anymore. Hopefully they open more closer because the lines are always long here no matter what. Even on a snowy winter day, there was a line here. It took me 5 minutes to place my order and then another 20 minutes for my drink to be ready for pick up. I got the Osmanthus Milk Tea ($6.79), where they suggest adjusted sugar to 70%. The drink is super floral and refreshing and that's what makes Molly Tea so good. Also, I love their cups, straws, bags and all the aesthetics. It's cute and practical. Can't go wrong with the drinks here, but prepare for the wait. You could order for pick up ahead via Fantuan and avoid the wait too.

My review is way too late... apparently it's no longer Molly Tea. It's now operating as a "question mark". RIP. Great marketing (Molly emblem), beautiful packaging (the pink cups, bags) and kudos to their media team for creating the hype. If you love strong Jasmine flavor, this is your spot. read more
First time trying and got the popular snowy jasmine tea! It was really good, not too sweet and enjoyed the whipped cream with pecans on top. At this location there wasn't a long line but my friend ordered through the app to pick up. I do think it's a bit pricey but it's a nice treat once in a while. read more

Came here when they were giving out the new years cup and got the jasmine milk tea. The lined move fast - at least to pay. And that was because everyone else was waiting for their drink! They seem to call out numbers in batches rather than calling them out one by one whenever it's ready. I think that's because actually waiting for your drink takes a while and people wander off to do something else. That also means that once their drink is ready, they aren't back yet and that ends up holding up the queue for everyone else (the display screen only shows a certain amount of numbers). I do think that's a fixable issue though. Just expand the amount of numbers on the display screen! Oh yah - tasty drink and enjoyed the tea flavor! read more
Staffs were friendly, they speak Mandarin and English. Store open up at 11AM and the line quickly formed. Always a line, always busy. Their tea is delicious and it is worth the wait. Jasmine "Moli Hua Cha" Green Tea is the specialty here. The lines are always long, but it appears their queuing moves quickly. The day I visited there were only two physical people ahead of me, but lots of remote orders it seems. Total time waiting was about 15-18 mins. Was it worth it, I really think so. The tea was beautiful. I tried the #1 which is their most popular. I tend to go for milk substitutes but really glad I opted to try their "fresh milk" which I don't doubt it is better quality than average. The tea felt like an experience. I did 30% sugar and it really hit the spot. read more

Wow. Prob the best tea I've ever had. It is so aromatic and fragrant. The drink is just so nice overall. My favorites are probably the Dancong and white champaca. It's so hard to explain the flavor, but all I can say is the sugar levels are perfect for each drink and it will give you a cozy feeling. I never thought I would wait half an hour for some tea. But it's honestly kind of worth it because it's delicious. It's such a nice warm, cozy, aromatic drink after having a meal. There's even a line when it's raining. During the daytime the line is out the door. read more

I have been to Molly Tea twice and tried the premium jasmine milk tea and the premium jasmine super matcha. The premium jasmine milk tea was good and had a very strong jasmine tea taste. Definitely different from any other place that makes this and I would come back for it. The premium super matcha was just alright. The jasmine tea flavor was again strong but felt like it overpowered the matcha. I definitely had better matcha elsewhere. There are 4 lines upon entering the storefront. From left to right, the first line is to order in person. Second line is to order on the kiosk. Third line is to wait for pickup and the last line is for pickup orders through the ordering app Hungry Panda (think UberEats, Seamless etc.) Ordering was quick but the waiting is insane. Both times I have waited over 20+ minutes for my drink. There is a screen that tells you the progress of your drink and when it is ready but it is very inaccurate. Even if you see your drink on the counter and it is ready, the workers would not give you your drink unless it shows it is ready on the screen. It is also very loud inside so you can't even hear if your drink is ready even when they're speaking into their microphones. So, worth the hype? Maybe. Worth the wait? Not really. Love the aesthetics of this place and their signature pink cups. They do a good job with packaging and add an extra layer of plastic so your drink doesn't spill. I would only come again when there isn't a long wait. read more
Always a fan of Molly Tea since the first sip. It's not just the stylish cups that have people coming back, but the quality and flavor of the drinks. They have a good mix of cold and hot drinks to choose from. One thing to keep in mind is that if you go closer to end of day they might run out on certain drinks. I had tried their Premium Jasmine milk tea and white champaca milk tea at other locations. This time I decided to try the snowy Jasmine which in addition to the milk tea it comes with a light, airy and creamy whipped cream. It's also topped with a delicious crunchy topping. They add the topping upon order pick up so that the snowy whipped cream mountain doesn't lose the volume it has waiting for the customer. I would definitely get it again. Ordering was easy. You can order with the cashier or by QR code outside. Service was fast and the quality of drinks were good. We'll be back for sure. read more
Finally tried Molly tea, which is another popular chain from China. It definitely has an edge over competitors for its strong tea base. Their cups and experience are definitely more refined, similar to hey tea. Their drinks are packaged to prevent spills, and bags are insulated to keep your drinks at their desired temperatures. My jasmine milk green tea was a great after work pick me up, and well balanced. Great tea flavor that woke me up! Their non tea drinks such as fruit slushies are just ok IMO. read more

4.5/5 Premium Jasmine Milk Tea (Cold) - very floral and aromatic, strong jasmine tea flavor, quite refreshing! They recommend 70% sugar, and I would agree it is the perfect sugar level to bring out the floral notes of the tea. 3.5/5 Snowy Jasmine (Hot) -- we felt like the tea flavor in the hot version was much weaker than the cold version. Also this drink was barely lukewarm unfortunately. This location is very busy every time I walk past and lines are quite long, but wait time was reasonable in my opinion. read more

It's definitely good tea, but nothing mind-blowing/life-changing. Their drinks are one size. We got the Gardenia Milk Tea + Premium Jasmine Milk Tea. While they're both pretty good, they lowkey tasted reallyyy similar, likely bc they're both Green Tea base. I got the 30% for my drink and it was perfect! The sugar levels are muted, in a good way, so that you can still taste the tea. I wish they had more Hot tea options. I do like that their options that have oat milk don't cost extra, unlike other boba spots. Overall, definitely worth the try once! read more
Heard Molly Tea was open and wanted to try it since people were saying it's better than HeyTea. Having tried the latter, I went in with high expectations! There are several lines, one line for ordering drinks, one for pick up, and one for delivery pick up. The line to order the drinks moves pretty quick- within 5 minutes, you're in the pick up line. This is the line that takes a bit longer. We waited about 10 minutes for 3 drinks. It gets pretty crowded inside. Cold Drinks ordered all with 70% sugar which they said was the norm: Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, Premium Jasmine Oat Milk Tea, and Snowy Jasmine. All of them had a hint of Jasmine Tea taste but the Oat milk one had a stronger tea taste than the regular milk one, in my opinion. The Snowy Jasmine drink once mixed together tasted like vanilla ice cream with notes of Jasmine. Definitely for the person with a sweet tooth! Overall, very floral notes. Would come back if that's what I was craving ( probably not). Otherwise, I'd go elsewhere for fruity bubble teas. If you get a drink, I recommend the hot ones. The colder ones have less Jasmine taste. read more

Decided to give Molly Tea a try since all my friends were talking about how their drinks are so delicious. I went with the Premium Jasmine Milk tea (less ice, 70% sugar) which was their No.1 drink. The drink was subtle, fragrant, and perfectly sweetened making it so unique compared to drinks from a typical bubble tea shop. I'll totally be back to try out the whole menu! read more

Went on a flushing food crawl and, of course, had to try Molly Tea! I've heard so much about this spot,and my expectations were quite high. The process to order didn't take too long, the wait was about 10 minutes, but the drinks took forever to come out. We had enough time to wander around the mall across the street. It was at least 30 minutes from when we ordered to when drinks were ready. I really wanted to try their mango drink, but it was sold out on the day we went so I opted for the traditional Jasmine MilkTea instead. The tea was delicious!! Super fragrant jasmine flavor, which was delightful. Unfortunately they don't have regular boba, only crystal boba, which I really did not like. It was a bit sour, which really ruined the taste of the drink to me. Next time, I'd do just a plain drink because they do the basics really well:-) read more
I was so excited to hear that a Molly Tea was opening up in Brooklyn! This shop has some of the most fragrant teas I've ever got the pleasure of enjoying but it is on the pricier side. Its popularity from Flushing didn't end there and if anything I think it'll continue to grow and flourish. I think the simplicity of their menu is great and really focuses on the fragrances and quality of their teas. I always go for the Jasmine or Gardenia as they are my favorites. Lines are quite long so do expect to wait quite a while, about 15-20 minutes. Even after months of the Flushing location opening, I still see lines out the door whenever I visit. I am expecting the same popularity at this new location as well. Despite that, it's still worth it as a special treat every now and then! read more
They opened one shop in Brooklyn. We were excited to try. A long line to get in there when we stopped by on New Year's day. The tea flavor is very nice for sure. The one thing I would complain is that they don't offer vegan milks or lactose-free milk. read more

I was really excited when Molly Tea opened because I didn't want to have to travel all the way to Flushing. I decided to give it a fair shot by trying four different drinks, but I struggled to understand what all the hype was about. The drinks I tried were the White Champaca Milk Tea, Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, Osmanthus Milk Tea, and Premium Jasmine Super Matcha. The only one where I could actually taste the tea was the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, but even then, it mostly just tasted like milk. Service is very very slow. read more
Yummy molly tea second location. More spacious than flushing spot, but tea isnt as yummy in my personal opinion. My friend thinks the whipped cream isnt as creamy. I thought it was more foam than whipp. But its definitely convenient for brooklyn girls like us to have a molly tea craving moment. The staffs have microphones at cashier so its easy to hear your order repeated back to you. The line is separated by stanchion so the category is clear. There's a constant repeat of their slogan from the workers which was funny. And the decorations are cozy. read more
Before I even begin, I think white boba is the way to go. I really like the taste and texture of it. It's bouncy and crisp Anyways, I've been seeing this place a lot and wanted to give it a try. Thank God there was barely a line in the morning when I went. I've heard of Molly Tea, but have never tried them. Every time I passed a location in NY, it's been busy! It looks like a trendy boba shop like many others. So while I was in Brooklyn, I bit the bullet and got a Gardenia Milk Tea with 50% sweetness. It took at least 15 minutes with a crowd of customers waiting around. I've had this type of tea at Momo Tea in San Franciso and this is comparable, but more expensive for the same tea without the whipped cream and crushed pecans on top. Honestly, I liked Momo's Gardenia Tea better. It had more gardenia flavor and they automatically add the whipped cream and nuts without the added cost. Still, this was a good tea, which sufficed as an afternoon pick-me-up. ~ 4/5 It just didn't blow my mind like Momo Tea. Maybe I should have tried their Snowy Jasmine Tea, but I wanted to do a taste comparison. However, I'm glad I got to try them while I was in Brooklyn. read more
We came on the last day of their grand opening promotion, and received a limited edition scented sachet and a bag. Con: crowd buildup, a bit hectic inside, lines aren't the clearest because everyone was packed inside trying to get out of the cold. Soft opening last weekend and I just happened to find out when I walked past the crazy line outside. It was freezing so I had no intention to stand in a line for milk tea. Molly Tea is quite the hype recently ... there's always a line at the Flushing location. I got lucky and happened to walk by again when there was no line to order. I ordered the jasmine oat milk tea and the osmanthus milk tea with clear bubble. Disappointed that they don't offer regular bubbles as a topping. The jasmine tea was very fragrant and you definitely taste the floral flavor of the tea. I'm not such a big fan of floral tea so I preferred the subtle tea flavor of the osmanthus milk tea more. For the soft opening, you can get a free Molly Tea bag if you order 2+ drinks, 12% off all orders, and a free scented tea satchel if you give them a five star rating on Yelp, Google, etc. read more

The people who say Molly tea is quick must be the first half dozen people in line, or have way too much time on their hands. Waiting over half an hour for this is just ridiculous. I went here on opening day and tried again the day after. Granted, there is a lot of hype for Molly tea and I don't deny their Jasmine tea is great (if you like it). When I went opening day, I arrived half an hour before opening and got my drink 45 minutes after open. I ordered at 11:12 and left at 11:44. Admittedly, I had 17 drinks, so I understand the delay. However, the following day, the line was short. I had a order of 5 drinks. They told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour. I asked for a refund and left. I feel bad for those ordering just one or two drinks and still have to face a similar wait time. Management needs to figure out a better system. I counted almost 18 employees in the store. I don't know if it's one employee working on each individual order or if they split the order fulfillment. The logistics behind everything are inefficient. If you can afford it, just pay the extra $2 premium on hungry panda and order for pickup. Also, skip the matcha. read more

好喝，非常喜欢这家店的奶茶。最喜欢一口老铁。天气热时常常一周点四到五次它家的奶茶。就是最好提前下单，要不然一定要等很久很久。店里的环境只能说还可以，最好不要去店里下单，先不要说等待的时间就是店里也没有凳子给人等待时用，我就去店里下单了一次等了我四十多分钟我在那里站得腿都软了。之后我都只在App下单等出餐了再去拿。 read more
