It's a small boba shop, but you can order on the kiosk and have it to go. Make sure you listen to them calling out your number though! We got 4 drinks from here: regular bubble tea, mango pomelo sago, yashi milk tea, and a strawberry slush. The bubble tea tastes very good as it has great tea flavor. The mango pomelo sago was also very delicious (I love anything mango). The yashi milk tea and strawberry slush came with whipped cream, but you could opt out of it for the yashi milk tea. There were little nut crumbs on top of the whipped cream of the yashi milk tea, which the drink itself was pretty good. As for the strawberry slush, I got it with jelly. It kind of has a floral taste, not much of a strawberry flavor, but it's not bad. Drinks itself were very beautiful, but it is quite expensive. I will order from here again! Bubble Tea with boba: $7.25 Mango Pomelo Sago: $8.95 Yashi Milk Tea with boba: $6.50 Strawberry Slush: $7.25

I got the jasmine milk tea and it tastes exactly like the famous Molly Tea in Flushing that has lines out the door all the time! Definitely come check out this spot! I just wish they offered bigger sizes on the milk teas because I was done way too fast lol

So far I've tried their stocking milk tea and iced lemon tea. They even have the X-Large size for the lemon iced tea. I like both of them .

I got the regular bubble tea and it had the perfect balance of creaminess and tea flavor.

There's a lot of bubble tea competition in the area so it's nice to see them thriving. My usual rotation is: Wonder Grape - light and refreshing, my most ordered drink Hojicha Latte - my caffeine pick when I want that roasted flavor Coco Mango - more of a dessert drink, reminds me of mango sai mai lo Mochi O Sesame - dessert like, creamy and satisfying Pomegranate Burst - my no caffeine antioxidant pink drink during that time Persimmon series - my actual favorite but it only shows up during the fall season They also have snacks like popcorn chicken, crispy chicken burgers, and eggy waffles. One thing though, this location doesn't seem to carry the cauliflower that I've had and liked from other Jooy spots. I still think their older signature drinks are the most reliable. Some of the newer series feel a little rushed. I tried the pear series and the pear tasted unripe while the pomelo was a lot which made the drink come out pretty bitter. The guava series was also too light when I tried it, almost like guava tinted tea.

Tried the recommended guava matcha cream, really delicious and not too sweet. I did ask for less ice but it still seemed a lot to me and the cream was good however next time I'll try without. It is pricey but a nice treat once in a while.

My sister has the app, so she was able to order for pick-up. The order took 20 minutes, so we went to pick up some groceries in the area before heading to pick up the drinks. When you first walk in, you are hit with the lovely and fragrant smell of tea leaves, and freshly brewed tea. I went with one of the more popular drinks - Coconut Mango Blue. I don't normally love coconut flavor but you couldn't taste it too much here. You taste more of the mango flavor, which was refreshing. I had never had blue spirulina before and it didn't really taste like anything. Again, you just taste more of the mango. Hubby had the Green Grape Boom, which was a little melty by the time he drank it so it would have tasted much better if it was still slushy. I think next time, I would try just a plain Jasmine tea, so that I could really taste the flavor of the tea.

Almost all other tea shops in this neighborhood close pretty early so that definitely sets this establishment apart. The milk tea was made well, just the appropriate amount of sweetness. I will say the Boba was slightly over cooked and on the gummier, softer side. The tea flavor selection is a little bit limited I feel, but not entirely a dealbreaker. They offer some savory snacks as well which I would be curious to try next time. Overall, solid spot for some authentic milk tea.

My sister and I have passed by this place multiple times in the past, though we never stopped by to try any of their drinks. This past Saturday, my sister wanted to try someplace new, so we decided to go to Upwind. When we walked in, there were only two staff: a tea-rista/cashier and a tea-rista in training. Both were very patient as we looked through the menu. My sister ended up ordering the kumquat lemon green tea with no sugar, and I really liked how the tea-rista/cashier advised that she get it with 30% sugar as it may be too sour for her taste. My sister reassured her that she wanted it with no sugar, and then the tea-rista in training proceeded to make her drink. The kumquat lemon green tea was tart like my sister preferred, the service was quick, and the staff were very nice. Overall, pleasant experience.
