Paid to play in their arcade, found it excessively hot. Dozens of people fanning their shirts and the smell of rancid body odor! It was disgusting! Didn't even spend my tickets. It's not like there was a lot to choose from anyhow. Several game machines weren't functioning or just gave you random ticket payouts regardless of how you scored. There are cheaper arcades with better game selection and air conditioning (very important for OKLAHOMA). Server at bowling was not consistent I had to send a kid for him or wave a worker down. Maybe table buzzers or order terminals would help on the table or button on the bowling computer to call server.... Came in on a Friday morning and was promptly greeted by a host who checked my temperature which I appreciate that they are taking the steps to look out for their guests. We came in for bowling and they told us the specials they had. Midway through bowling we decided to take advantage of the special and they were super friendly about changing that for us. We took 4 grandkids on a Tuesday evening. We reserved a lane for an hour at 7:30. We arrived early, and they were able to accommodate 15 minutes early. For one hour and 6 people to bowl with shoes, it was $52. Maybe pricey, but we had a blast. We also spent $20 on an arcade card, and each child took a turn playing a game. I think each picked five games. They split the points and walked away happy with their cheap prize. Not a ton of games but enough to entertain. ( ages 6,7,8 &11) Pizza smelled good. Tonight, we took my 5 year old to HeyDay Entertainment in Norman for his birthday. Before we went to the arcade, some of our family joined us for dinner in the HeyDay restaurant. There were 16 of us. Our waitress was very polite, you could tell she was new, and seemed to be very new to serving, as our drinks ran out a couple of times, and she forgot things in our order and misunderstood "quesadilla" for "chips and queso". That's not the point of this. Our waitress took our drink order, a few minutes later she started bringing drinks out. There was another waitress assisting her (she was from the bar). My SIL ordered a mtn dew, and the waitress said they didn't have that so, she gave her sprite instead. (?? cause that's the same thing..) The bartender waitress brought a dr pepper to my SIL (who ordered mtn dew) and sat it in front of her, and said "you can just have this" So, I turned to my SIL completely dumbfounded and said "is that what you want?! Cause it's not what you ordered!" My SIL took it. Fast forward to us getting our food. Some of the appetizers came out with the food, and some came out after. We told our waitress we just didn't want the ones that came out after and she said "oh, well it's already made." My SIL (same one) ordered a pizza and fries. We had to remind the waitress 3 times about her food, and when it got to her, it was COLD, not just like warm, but literally cold. I spoke with the manager after the bar waitress experience, he seemed to understand my frustration. My mom spoke with the same manager about how the dining experience was, and he seemed to not care at all, and kept making excuse after excuse. The waitress was new, and he as a manager failed her. Which is what my mother also tell him. We all pay our tickets and part ways. Move to the arcade. My son had $50 on his card, and my husband and I had a $30 card so that we could rack up "points" for him. We played the basketball machine, and combine got over 4,000 points. We won 528 on the ball drop with the fish bowls, and another 150 on the ball drop game. We played other various, but those were our biggest wins. I go to check our points on the machine and guess what???? Our card shows that we have 1,330 points..... So, we lacked at least 3,300 points..... After I realize that ours is lacking, I check our sons card. His has 1,400 on it. He won 1,000 on one game and 280 on another, and played MANY other games that he was winning "points" on.. He did play some games that didn't win points. But he was lacking points in the end also.... I spoke with 3 different people about the issue (including the manager again) and they all acted confused, didn't care, and said they'd have someone look at it.... Overall we wasted our money going here. This HeyDay lacks way too much in their customer service department, and you don't get the "points" you are told you're getting, and not a single soul that works there will help you! We were going to stay and bowl, but after all of this that we dealt with, We will not be going back. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I am visiting from Texas while visiting family in Norman. So decided to come here. Has a full bowling center, tons of arcade games and mini golfing. I will say, if you are planning to do the golfing, bring some sunscreen with you on hot days. The only con is that it seems that their Covid protocols are all out the window. They do not require masks, nor take temperatures. Even though it clearly says they do in their website. But, the pros overweigh this one thing. I came in last Saturday night to enjoy the adult area they provide upstairs with some of the parents of our soccer team. They have shuffleboard, a free pool table, and some arcade games for free while you relax. Definitely, a great place to get away when you need a little break. We bought our kids arcade tickets and let them enjoy their time downstairs while we enjoyed our upstairs. A little pricey but in our case, the kids had fun. Even though they were busy, I ended up telling your smiley girl bartender that this was the best bar I had been to in a long time because every bartender behind there asked me if I needed something while I stood and waited for her to finish my order. Since Dave's and Buster's was further than we wanted to drive, we decided to go to Heyday. Big mistake. We were planning to eat, bowl and play some games in the arcade. After getting a glimpse of how crappy the arcade was, we decided to just eat and bowl. To start, we weren't greeted at all upon entering the bowling lounge and it took a while for anyone to even come by our table to take our order. To boot, the service was so awful and the food was so bad the we decided that we didn't want to spend another moment there and opted out of bowling. I love this place. So clean. So fun. Great food and great entertainment. We bring our teenagers here and they love it too. We get to have adult beverages and have fun with the kids. Always make a reservation if you want to bowl. Also, the music is AMAZING. I was born in 83 so it's right up my alley. The teens didn't get into it as much as I did but they play a variety. Disorganized staff with little to no customer service skills. Bowling: don't expect to finish your game. We had 5 bowlers and we were in the 10th frame when our time expired. We tried to buy another hour and were told no because there was a 2 hour wait. We then asked for the ability to finish our game, and were also told NO. Very frustrating since the lane next to us hadn't been used for the entire hour we were there. We only needed 10 minutes to finish and I was willing to pay. I will not be back! Arcade: Fun, but once again very disappointed. 4 teenagers working the counter and only 1 actually working. Couldn't play air hockey because the crowd waiting for lazer tag was leaning on the table and no room. My son was once again disappointed. This place is terrible when it comes to customer service. I've been twice in the last two weeks. The first time I paid extra to reserve a lane upstairs. They had the reservation wrong, had to tell them twice everyone's shoe size and what balls we wanted bc they erased what I told them the first time. 0 service when you get to the lane. You have to walk around to the bar and wait in line for a drink and it takes a long time so that dogs into the bowling time you are paying for if everyone is waiting on you while you're at the bar. Dropped off food menus, NEVER came back to get an order or anything. Never saw anyone again that night unless you went to the bar. The second night we went downstairs and it was all of that and worse. Sent me to a lane with food and plates all over it. Stood there for about 8 minutes before anyone brought our shoes over and figured out our lane was dirty. Employees walking around everywhere and talking to each other but you have to run them down and shout excuse me 7 times before anyone pays you any attention. There's much more to say but this is very long. It's truly terrible. read more

Well, I get there and they tell me that I need to wait for another text, 5 minutes later I go up again to check in and they give away my lane to someone else. They did not verify that the person checking in was who it was. They apologize and tell me it would be a 20 minute wait and give me a $20 fun card for my kid. Well, 20 minutes turns into an hour. First time visit and the worst meal experience I have ever had. Wrong item entered for 1 diner, no dinner entree for 2 others. We asked 4 times about the food and were assured they were working in it. Meanwhile, everyone who ordered well after us received their food. After more than an hour the child quesadilla and grilled chicken breast were brought out. No french fries though. We did have a party of 14, but felt no one in the restaurant had ownership of the experience for the customer. I suggest eating before you go . Laser tag and the games were worth it. read more
