Way overpriced drinks! The drinks here were not stiff in any way. We were really annoyed with what we paid and what we received. If you come here, it's for the vibes, and just order a beer. We played pool inside and while pool was free, which was cool, the table was off and there was a giant pillar next to it, making some shots really difficult. We then played water pong and it was fun for a bit, but staff kept coming and watching us like we were doing something wrong. I feel like this place needs to be on Bar Rescue because it could be awesome, but it's actually pretty terrible. read more

The bar was pretty crowded and the service was slow, and yet it was 100% worth going to! My wife and I stopped in after walking around the riverfront area and we are already looking forward to our next visit. This bar is located right off of the canal in Bricktown. There is metered street parking and commercial parking lots available within a reasonable walking distance. The place itself is pretty big, but it has a small bar. There is a decent amount of seating at the bar and the surrounding patio. They have a security guy checking IDs before everyone comes in and they check IDs hard, so have yours ready. They also have an indoor area where you will find a couple of pool tables and another area with Adirondack chairs in a circle. I reminded me of a campfire. You will find a bunch of televisions around the bar, which are usually playing sports. They serve classic tropical themed cocktails, but they just come in plastic cups. I order a Painkiller, a Cherry Limeade, and a Espresso Mar-tiki. They were all good, but the Espresso Mar-Tiki was my favorite. The bartender, Mercedes, was awesome. She was very friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive. I came here on a Wednesday night and it was kind of slow, but I was cool with that. This seems like it could be a really fun and happening place on the weekend. I hope I am able to check it out again and recommend that you check it out too. read more

They have a bar and a ledge area where you can sit and drink while overlooking the water. We chose the ledge seating, which was perfect for enjoying the view. Their drink menu features a good variety of tropical options, and I went with the Cherry Limeade. It was so good I ended up getting three! It wasn't overly sweet and had just the right balance of flavors mixed with vodka. Tipsy Tiki is definitely a great spot to hang out with friends, enjoy some well-made drinks, and take in the river walk vibes. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! read more

Every now and then my husband and I enjoy walking the Riverwalk and sampling from several restaurants there. This visit included the Tipsy Tiki. I love the atmosphere of the outside bar. It was a hot evening, and we needed something cold to drink. We ordered a Miller Lite and a Chardonnay. My wine wasn't quite cold enough, so Mercedes added some ice. Yummy! We ordered drinks for us and two others as they went to get seats. So, 3 mixed drinks and 1 water. She huffed and asked who the drinks were for. She made the drinks and handed us our bill. $49.50! The female blonde bartender with braces let everyone else start a tab with their card, but didn't allow me to, however I'm an Oklahoma native wearing a Scottie Pippen jersey. The bartender played back office politics and treated me less than the other patrons. Then tried to lie to my face about it as if I have stupid written on my forehead, and I couldn't see what was taking place. I even asked another patron, and he said yes he was able to start a tab and looked at me puzzled that I wasn't. I'm also a retired U.S. Marine. This is the type of mentality that is going to keep people from coming to OKC, and keep OKC from growing in the positive direction. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. We normally come to this bar for the coconut drinks they have because they are SOO GOOD!We came to town for the lakers game and wanted to stop by and grab the same drink we always do and when we got to the bar the guy asked for our IDs and I gave him mine no trouble just for him to tell me my ID was fake when it's 100% real!! Like idk what to do at that point :( I'm very devastated we didn't get to grab our favorite drinks probably won't be going back again. This place is completely outside, the only thing indoors is their restrooms (so make sure to go when the weather is nice!). It gets pretty crowded so go early or you might be standing! Their drinks are good, but a little plain in comparison to other tiki bars I have been to. They are nothing extravagant, but they are tasty and decently priced. I did however, enjoy my drink inside a Thai coconut! The ingredients appeared to be fresh: coconut water, rum, and pineapple juice. The storefront is unlike anything else in OKC and it is settled in an area of the canal near everything. Half of the bar is under the second floor and is like a huge covered patio, and the other half is like a huge outdoor patio The bar is huge and the bartenders do a spectacular job keeping everyone served. read more

I had the Watermelon special...it tasted like liquid pink jolly rancher candy with not a drop of alcohol. -__- And I finished the whole drink to give it a chance to kick in. Nope nothing. So then ordered boneless bbq chicken. I don't know what they breaded it with, but it was like rocks. So hard & crunchy. Live music was fun, while watching the taxi boat on the canal.
