I can…read morehonestly say that if I have to be sent for any additional surgeries later on, I will be first going through Heywood Hospital. I honestly have never felt welcomed more by a facility by all of its staff that are helping you to get better. My journey started at Heywood Orthopedics and received nothing but top notch evaluation and care from their entire staff and that carried over to the Hospital where every individual I dealt with was a blessing to their when it was time for my surgical appointments. I was treated as a person and never as a number. The level of care as mine required overnight stays was met with staff that was vigilant and making sure I was comfortable. Everyone in that building gets down to the human level with you. Even when walking around after surgery the facility staff either sweeping/mopping/cleaning even offering to say hello and how are you makes a difference. My experience here is a definite testament that you do not have to go all the way to Boston or even Wor ester to receive adequate and thorough care. It exists here as well in North Central Massachusetts. Thank you to the entire staff for all that you did to help me and to all the help you give others.

Lied to me about my medical records wasn't good enough, wanted a release that I cared not to provide and failed to inform patient's bill of right... actually she did the opposite and denied my right. I was so mad after going home and the next day I called medical records from my previous PCP and told them to shred that release form and Not to send Heywood any records. Do I really want to receive care at a place that has little or no regards to the people trusted in their care? So still looking for quality healthcare in the area if it is at all a thing.

My husband went in last week, was in and out, within an hour with a prescription for an antibiotic, same symptoms as me. I tried to set up an appointment online, but their site kept freezing up, so I drove down there, explained to the receptionist my situation, and was told I'd be put on a wait list. Figured it would be fine. Nope, sat in the waiting room for almost three hours as people came and went. I was coughing loudly, couldn't help myself, I mean that's why I was there. One woman was getting upset and asked about when she would be called, being told she was next. Well they called me next, and she put up a stink that she was told she was next. They took her in. I asked how much longer of a wait I had and the receptionist made a snide comment about when was she going to have her lunch? I apologized, sat down, now at the two and a half hour mark. I couldn't take the rude attitude anymore and began to cry. I just wanted to feel better, get a prescription for an antibiotic and leave. After 15 minutes of crying, some of the other patients who were waiting just as long as I was, began telling me it would be okay and they told the receptionist that she's obviously sick, now she's crying. They need to take me now. Receptionist gets an attitude, goes in the back, comes back and tells me I'm being called next. I was, but the nurse stops meat the door and snips, "what do you want from us?" So through tears, i said an antibiotic. She took my vitals as if I was bothering her. Doctor comes in and asks why I was there.i explained my symptoms (on and off fever, sweating every night, coughing up brownish green phlegm, sinus pressure, going on two weeks with these symptoms) asking for an antibiotic. He listens to my lungs, says vitals are good, but I do sound congested, sending me to a hospital for x-ray, and no antibiotic. So I asked why my husband was able to get a script but not me, and yes he was in this place last weekend. He said it's an outdated thing. What?! So now at over three hours in this place, he sends me to a hospital for an x-ray. Made it home at the four hour mark, crawled into bed and cried myself to sleep at the way I was treated. But hey, I got an inhaler and some other meds that don't feel like they are doing anything. I will never go back to this place again! The service and professionalism is lacking. I didn't feel I was listened too, and felt dismissed, and will be calling my doctor on Monday if I don't feel better. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE,ESPECIALLY IF A CHILD IS BEING SEEN! In at 8 am, out by 10 am. The staff was great, from clerical staff at the reception desk to the nurses, technicians and attending physicians. Great communications and a follow up call 2 days after the procedure. I felt absolutely safe, enjoyed great care and can only recommend Leominster hospital for these procedures.

You try to contact someone on the phone and have to do an obstacle course of transferring to this person and that person and so on and half the time you don't get the right department or person you want to talk to. ER is especially bad for you try calling to check on a friend or loved one and they barely lift a finger to really try to get you to the right person or say they are not there when you know they are. Well that all changed today when my father convinced me to go for a three week bout of nearly every illness one can get. I was able to book an appointment for the same hour, and the front desk was super flexible when I was running late. Once I arrived, I was taken in within 2 mins and brought to a clean, private space. Aidan was amazing and truly took the time listen, ask follow-up questions, and let me know what to expect for the remainder of the visit. He is a gem and his personality helped make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Gold took the time to go through my history, every single noted symptom as well as some I hadn't even mentioned. He took his time with the physical exam, even double checking and making sure not to miss anything. They ran a rapid strep, flu, and Covid test as well as a chest x-ray on-site, with the results given within 10 minutes. My only regret is waiting as long as I did to be seen because, unfortunately, there was nothing they could treat me for. I will not hesitate to return in the future.
