My husband and I had been regulars here for medical massages every two weeks since last year. We originally chose this practice because they provide superbills that we can submit to insurance. The massage therapists we've worked with (Alejandra, Maddy, Giovanna) have all been skilled. Alicia (their former admin) has also always been very responsive and is the only one who knows about superbills. This month, as usual, I requested superbills for our appointments and, after following up multiple times, received incorrect paperwork. When I called to ask about it, I was informed that their admin was moving out and that there also appeared to be a duplicate account issue. Which was why I didn't receive any notifs for upcoming appointments either. That was the concern I raised professionally via email. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that the practice had determined they were "not the best fit" for my needs and would no longer provide services. to us. It was unfortunate because the massage therapists were actually skilled. But future clients who rely on superbills and insurance docs may want to confirm how those requests are handled now that their former admin has left.

After we redeemed our gift card, there was an issue with gratuity. When we were gifted this a few years back, our friends mentioned they had added 20% tip. I believe the price of the massage went up, which makes sense. However, the front desk person made it seem like prices haven't changed and it was odd that the tip was so little. Injured my neck and shoulder diving for a softball last weekend. I thought the pain would go away…read morebut 5 days later I still could barely look to my left and the pain was very uncomfortable. It was all I could think about. I yelped chiropractors near South Riding and called around. The first two did not even see new patients on Friday afternoons. Dr. Schleifer was the third office I called and had a 3pm opening on Friday (it was 12pm on Friday when I called). A new and nice office building with ample parking awaited me. He was at his desk when I arrived and was very pleasant. After about a 15 minute assessment he applied some muscle stimulation and heat therapy. That was followed by an adjustment along with instructions to ice my shoulder and neck that evening. The therapy worked more than I could have imagined. I was able to play in a softball game and have no ill effects of my neck injury the next day (saturday) and have only slight discomfort today (sunday). I'll go to a follow up session with him this week to make sure I've maintained my healing process.
