She didn't explain what products / treatments she was going to perform and it overall was not a relaxing experience. Music was pretty much impossible to hear, the treatment itself was underwhelming and there was no manager available to help me after expressing my concerns with the experience.

I loved the experience so much that I immediately booked the longest session available (90 minutes). I have had two long massages with Kaui, and both have been truly sublime. So much so that I have two future sessions booked now! I will mention a few things about Kaui the person, Kaui the massage therapist, and about the spa. Kaui is an extremely likeable, friendly, and intelligent person who communicates well. An example of how kind and thoughtful Kaui is: after my last massage with her was over, she gave me a box of macadamia nuts covered in chocolate (macadamia nuts are not cheap!) she got on her recent trip to her home state of Hawaii. Kaui really goes the extra mile to please! Kaui's very wonderful qualities as a person would be admirable but they would largely be irrelevant when you want a great massage if Kaui did not deliver on the massage table. I have had massages from multiple people. They all did a fine job. But after my 90 minute massage sessions with Kaui I never felt more relaxed in my life!! Kaui moves over your body at just the right "Goldilocks" speed--not too fast, not to slow--just perfect. Kaui made massage movements I had not experienced before that made me melt into the massage table in sublime relaxed pleasure. Every minute of my massages with Kaui has felt wonderful! When Kaui is working her massage magic on your body she is wise enough to stay silent (except for a very occasional "pressure level OK?" check-in early in the message) so that talk does not distract you from the blissful relaxation you are experiencing under her hands. But if you initiate a conversation Kaui is more than happy to talk. Kaui is wise enough to let you control how long the conversation lasts. A car analogy fits. For me, getting a massage from others has been like driving a Honda Accord--a good experience but nothing really shines. In contrast, getting a massage from Kaui is like the "ultimate driving experience" when driving a top of line BMW. Kaui has provided me with the "ultimate massage experience" (nothing sexual implied; Origins Thai Spa is a totally legitimate place). Origins Thai Spa is exceptional as well. It is in a quiet location in Sterling (not a strip mall or other busy place). The spa is quiet and soothing from the moment step inside. All the receptionists are very friendly. It is very easy to make appointments online. You can have a warm massage table if you want it. After the massage is over, Kaui wipes you down with a warm towel to remove massage oil from your body. Plus a very welcome warm towel for your face at the end that caps off this most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Kaui even immediately gave me one of the spa's robes when my bladder made me step down the hall for a minute during the massage. Kaui, you have a customer for life. Very attentive, listens well, takes time to answer all my concerns and takes me serious, I feel. He has amazing people skills and seems thoughtful. The staff at the front desk is amazing too. Very friendly, very supportive with new patients, warm hearted and they always try to help out in any way they can. I had a car problem and had to reschedule my second appointment because of that, and they were extremely understanding and managed to re-schedule me fast while always being very kind and friendly. The Dr.'s assistants are very friendly and patient as well. The office is small, but set up in a calming, comfortable and relaxing way. Once I get there, I seriously feel all "Om". :) I came here for back pain that I'm having during my pregnancy and so far, what Dr. Harvey has done, helped to decrease the pain a bit and has put me into a much better mood. I don't feel so alone with this problem anymore and feel like I'm in the right hands. I will continue my visits and will write an update when I'm finished with my treatment.

I began with Dr Misra about 2010. A nine year old car accident had an area in my mid back really tight. He noted it, worked that one, but dealt with my main complaint at the time. I had been to three chiropractors for that injury and already gave up assuming I would have to live with it. After a year of coming intermittently for other issues he freed the locked up point. I've never had another problem in that area. Specifically, whenever I sneeze that area of my back cracks. It actually moves freely! My wife saw Dr Harvey throughout her pregnancy with our twins, she was really happy with his care. I saw him as well when our schedules synced. He helped other pain management issues effectively. Both are solid, really know the body, analyze your pain, and provide you guide ace to prevent the same issues from occurring again. I'd give 100 stars if I could.

Once the appointment was set up, I drove in (of course, finding the space for a newbie in that area was a little difficult - to locate them ) ....that incident too shows their support!!!! they were so kind. They walked right up to the carwash area, spotted my car and guided me back to their door. confetti and brownie points yet again. I was brought to the second floor. A young lady helped with washing my hair, and then I got moved to Umber's booth. Umber is super nice, efficient. She understood exactly what I wanted and delivered. I wanted my hair with a tiny curl inward and she did it. She also applied some products so that I could keep my hair perfectly styled just in case it started to drizzle! I walked out feeling amazing. My hair was done just right and I was ready for the wedding.... They have a good collection of hair products. I also found some really nice refrigerator magnets.
