We are a multicultural, bilingual early childhood education program open five days a week, year round, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Children's Center is the only childcare facility in the Lowcountry with a sliding-scale fee structure. We are located on the north end of Hilton Head, serving over 160 children daily. Of the children currently enrolled, nearly 40% come from off island, including Bluffton, Beaufort and beyond. Our Center offers programming for children beginning at 6 weeks of age and continues through their entry into kindergarten. We also partner with local schools to provide before and after care for children through second grade. During summer break, we provide a Summer Camp for emerging kindergarteners to second graders that focuses activities around the elimination of learning loss in math and literacy.
