All I wanted was a trim for my hair, but the lady sat me down and brushed my hair l, didn't even part it and cut it dry. She said that she was going to cut the rest after she washed me. For reference I have very frizzy hair when you brush out the curls. Well she washed my hair and then dryed it and didn't even attempt to cut my hair even. It is significantly longer on one side and super lopsided. Don't recommend.

The pictures here and on her Instagram shows how talented she is. She KNOWS what she's doing with cut AND color. And let me say, I am a hard one to please. I'm blonde and super picky about my color. Her skills are very modern and with the times. She has amazing technique. The only only only thing that I would recommend is that you are VERY clear with how much length you ask her to cut. I thought I was and ended up getting double cut off. Needless to say, my fried ends thank her but I'm still sad I lost the length I took 2 years to grow out. But overall, she is the best stylist I've seen in about 9 years. If you can get in (good luck with that) book with Nikki at glam. She is amaaaaazing

WORST salon experience of life. I showed her many photos of what I wanted. And what my 10 year old…read moredaughter wanted. She said no problem. When we got there her salon was cluttered and messy. In the back of my mind I knew we should've walked out then. But I thought maybe she's better at hair than keeping her salon tidy. Big mistake. I had long straight, medium dark brown hair to the middle of my back. My daughter already had long layers in the front and she just needed a trim. Sonia looked at the photos of the layers I wanted then proceeded to chop my hair relatively one length, much shorter than I wanted, and really uneven. She then bleached it blonde about 3 inches from the top and toned it to a mousy brown that almost looked green at the time. I had shown her pictures of high and low lights that were almost auburn that I wanted to give my hair some demention. She didn't do any of that. I wanted my hair to be cut to just below my collar bone with lots of blended layers. She lobbed it off, one length, with tiny point cutting right below my shoulder. I told her it looked green and she said the toner will wash out to blonde, which isn't what I wanted in the first place. While my hair was processing she cut my daughters hair and it has shelves, not the blended layered trim we asked for and showed her pictures of. She took off way too much on both of us as well. It basically looks like my daughter is growing out an old mullet. My poor daughter is too scared to go to another salon to get it fixed. I know it's just hair and it will grow back but it's embarrassing to walk around looking like this while it does, and this is her job. I shouldn't have paid for what she did, but I did because I don't enjoy confrontation. We paid $314 to look like a toddler went wild on our hair with scissors and bleach. Now its going to cost another $300 to get it fixed elsewhere. DO NOT LET SONIA RUIN YOUR HAIR TOO.

My first impression of the salon was that it was spotless and full of very interesting art. I did have to wait a few minutes for my appointment but in the end I know this is because Nee is very detailed and careful about ensuring an excellent cut and after all it was Saturday. Nee gave me a really excellent consultation and we discussed my wishes at length. We agreed to a game plan prior to my cut which was a fairly big departure from my existing haircut. Nee took her time and consulted with me about length along the way. In the end I got a really look changing haircut that was styled impeccably. It enhanced my existing color, and made me feel like a million bucks. I watched all the other stylists also working on their clients, and it seems like there's a really competent group in here. Sometimes it's hard to find a salon with really skilled practitioners, but I think this one looks excellent. I'm really happy with my haircut and I will definitely be going back to see Nee!
