I came back after a long visit. This time I came back for pedicure and fill-in. I was greeted and like always allowed to pre pick my colors. Great choices, everything from every color of the rainbow. They have chrome, 3-D just to name a few. My my my I was put in the hands of Pee Wee (not sure if that is correct forgive me). I had the Spa treatment and it was like no other. He made my legs feel like silk and butter once I was done. He even eased my leg when it was cramping up. The scrub down was oh la la. Smells heavenly. Then I was turned over to Buu (if I messed up the spelling, opps!) He remembered me from my past visit. He took good care of my nails. The pedicure I got was fine. Can't beat a $30 pedicure, that's for sure. However, the business could do with some cleaning. Nail stations were messy, my pedicure chair had some substance smeared on the foot pedestal, and there were ceiling panels with large yellow water stains. I went here for a refill and it was the worst nail experience of my life. Since the guy couldnt do an ambre I asked him to do a regular. He didnt clean the curticle area, or massage my fingers. After placing the acrylic I told him to fix it but he refused . He went on to paint the nails and this is the result after I asked him to fix the cuticle area after overpainting it. I only paid him because I didn't feel like arguing. I came home and took it off. Btw this is after 3hrs in the shop. Dont go to this shop, their work is absolute trash. Paid $30 for gel nails. They looked fine for a few days but within 6 days after the manicure they peeled at the back and kept getting caught in my hair (ouch!). Finally one just popped off on day 7 and more started coming off after that. The polish was applied too thick or is just poor quality polish. Not worth $30 for 1 week of nails. read more

Hate to give 2 stars but not much is good about this nail salon. The owner is very nice but the shop is very run down and not up to date at all. They have old nail polishes that are very thick and not many choices like other nail salons. Went in for a pedicure on a Sunday and was surprised when they only had 2 workers on, one being the owner. I get places are short staffed but it seemed that there was no urgency to get to customers. There were people in there waiting for over an hour even with an appointment. It's sad to see how much it went downhill, but maybe it will make a turn around. read more

Wish I could write a wholly positive review. My first trip to this salon I had a pedicure that came out beautifully! The gentleman that took care of me was kind, thorough and did an all around wonderful job. On my most recent visit, my daughter and I got manicures. Nothing fancy, just the standard polish. HUGE MISTAKE. Not only was the experience terrible, but our nails were a mess just 24hrs later. Chipping is expected, but the entire polish was peeling and popping off in full pieces!!! My daughters nails did the same (different bottle of polish). Initially, I was disappointed with the service, which felt as if we were an inconvenience. Tack on the fact that a child was running amuck the entire time, smacking the manicurist on the head and back while he was working on me, then two employees began to argue whilst one was doing my nails. The more agitated he became, the rougher he was on my hand. (Nothing like a nail file across the knuckles a few times!) Id like to mention that the female artist that took care of my designs was wonderful and friendly. The rest of the experience left much to be desired. I used to like the place but not anymore!! The owners seem to favor clients. Not all the techs know what they're doing. I had to go there twice in one week to fix my nails because they kept falling and the owners thought it was funny and when I finally got them fixed they weren't shaped evenly. Mickie the manager thought it was very funny and laughed about it instead of offering to fix the issue. I wouldn't recommend the place anymore!! read more

I legit used to hate this salon, but now that it is under new management, it is the only place I will go. Buu (idk how you actually spell it) and his wife mickey are awesome! Their pedicures are amazing, they are around $20 and they use a scrub on your legs and hot towels as well, which I find amazing because I have seen other places call that a "spa pedicure" and charge $10 more. They do a great job and buu really cares about the customers being satisfied. I kept looking at my nails and he asked a few times "are you sure they're okay, you don't want me to fix anything". Update: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and let me say, the new owner Buu is highly professional, knowledgeable, and geared towards making his clientele happy. The prices are great and low, especially for the Towson /Carney area. I got a manicure w/gel nail polish and a pedicure (w/ a leg n foot massage and glass of wine) for $42. The place is huge, clean, pleasantly fragrant and not with the traditional smell of nail polisher remover lol. The staff are friendly and always smiling. The biggest thing I love about this place is that you are never rushed. They really take their time with you, giving you that spa feel. P.S. I still love Troy (prev. called Woo in my last review) but have recently cheated on him with a lady esthetian there, given that all of them are great. Lol. read more

Dear "Business Owner" First off, you and your husband have different prices and your sister does too. Prices vary for customers depending on the nail tech and the day. My advice to you that day and now is for you all to have better communication between yourselves so customers do not have to deal with that during a spa day. Your sister told me that's why she stopped working with you a long time ago but you now need help. Same issues maybe? I don't know but what I do know is I do not have a problem paying the cost of getting my nails done AT ALL but it's not my job and shouldn't be my job to negotiate and explain all this to the "Business Owner". If you own the place and make the rules you should have your employees (husband and sister) give the exact same pricing as you and be consistent with all customers every time they come there. A spa is a place to relax not argue over why you all change up pricing all the time. Your husband prices seem to be cheaper but you never saw me complaining that I wasn't in his seat. I rarely had my nails done by him actually. That's because I came there to relax and I have money so paying has never been an issue. Bottom line is don't treat customers as if they are dispensable and you won't lose business. 4 of my other friends that I previously recommended come to you has stopped coming since I decided to stop due to all this. That's 5 customers you lost over the inability to communicate well with me and your staff and to ensure all staff use the same pricing. The first time I came here I came with a friend I asked them how much regular white tips were the owner told me 22 even. I came by a week later to get them done the oowner did my nails he was super CREEPY he kept coming on to me asking me if I want him to give. Me a full body 1 hr masage and then gave me a wink. Have been coming to this location for about 10 years, through 3 different owners. Boo and Mickey are extremely professional, friendly, funny and just nice. The owner is so freaking rude , my son wanted some water from the water machine so he got up to get some and he yelled at my son to not mess with his water , so I told him he wasn't messing with his water that he just wanted some water ! Love this place! Everyone is very friendly! My nails and toes always look great and last for a long time. Their pedicures are amazing with several relaxing options. I went for the first time on a Friday afternoon after work-- Memorial Day weekend. While it was pretty crowded, they had enough people working so that there was no wait for my pedicure. The man that did my pedicure did a really thorough job and he was quick. I was in and out within an hour. I also got my eyebrows done, and they came out great as well.
