Can't believe it took me so long to try this salon! What a nice, clean location. I liked that they had books of nail colors, which better represented the color outcome than looking at the bottle. The technician used a Dremel tool on my difficult nail spots, and that worked amazingly. Great price too- will definitely return and already recommended this spot to my boyfriend. read more

Had an appt for 3 pedicures on a Friday night. We were seen within 5 minutes of our appointment time and all next to each other. The employees were all very friendly and did a great job on our feet. Salon recently renovated to remove the hair styling section and expanded the front to include more manicure stations. I have had many manicures and pedicures at this location, but this was my first time since the salon was renovated. Prices have increased to reflect the luxury aesthetic and updates. This gel manicure was not worth $38. There is now a $1.75 fee to use credit cards as well. There were MANY bubbles in the polish I didn't notice until I left because salon is pretty dark on a rainy day. They are small but make my nails look speckled. Pictures can't show how many bubbles there are, but I can feel them as well. Will be finding a new nail salon because the prices increased while the quality has decreased. read more

I visited Vince Salon & Nails since its location is relatively close to me, but I wish I'd have stuck with the much farther one I found with a very patient nail technician. I made an appointment for a gel manicure removal and polish change, and specifically requested Sophia since a few of the positive reviews mentioned her. When I arrived, I was barely greeted by the front desk and the sign in process on the computer wasn't explained to me. You don't actually have to answer all of the questions that appear. Anyway, it was a pretty long wait even though I'd made an appointment well in advance. I was told to grab the seat next to Sophia, but it seemed like the customer she had wasn't happy with her nails and Sophia was working on her longer than intended. Sophia briefly came to me to get the removal process started, then went back to the existing customer. An employee sat across from me without even speaking to me or smiling once. Sophia eventually had the employee check my nails. The employee used an instrument to help scrape off remaining pieces; I told her she was using too much pressure so she apologized and went a little slower. She also used the drill which I wasn't thrilled about since my nails were just becoming strong again. Sophia eventually got to me and made a couple comments about me maybe needing a manicure instead of just a polish change. I don't like the roughness I've experienced in the past at other places, and told her I did not want my cuticles cut. She proceeded with my gel manicure; I felt that she had my hands under the UV lights too long. She didn't attempt to make much conversation. I was pleases with the end product, but overall felt that the salon had a factory feel and they were drill happy technicians getting as many people in and out as possible. I noticed either later in the day or the next day that my thumb nail and middle nail on my left hand had two small cracks in the nail. I tried to gently file those areas down and put clear polish on top. A couple days later both nails showed small cracks- this is not cool within one week of gel. I can also see that at least one nail is broken on the side at the middle. I believe that the rough handling and tools contributed to my nail bed weakening. I will go back to my other shop and will not be returning to Vince for any service. read more

They offer comprehensive mani and pedi packages that include things that other salons tack on additional charges for. I usually book with Leo, but have had good mani/pedi services done by others. I typically get regular polish on my toes and gel on my fingers, and colors last for two, sometimes three weeks. Recommend making an appointment since they get pretty busy. read more

I came here for the first time today and I will be returning. I paid $32 for a gel manicure and it was worth it. The attention to detail is like none other. You don't feel rushed at all. Everyone I seen being serviced was there just as long if not longer being serviced. They use a new nail tool package for each customer which is a triple bonus in my book. They have a large selection of colors and different services. I was a walk in and was seen within a few minutes. You have to tip in cash but I don't mind that at all. read more

I heard a lot of great reviews about this salon. I made an appointment for pedicure at 930am and I was there on time. As soon as come in - I checked in with the lady as well as to the computer... I sat down and waited. There were 4 ladies before me ( not sure if they have appointments ot walk-ins ) -- they were called in before me. Nobody is saying anything to me . I saw 3 nail workers playing in their phone -- and I am assuming they might be waiting for their customers. Then a guy went in -- a walk in. He sat down beside me. After few minutes , they called him for the pedicure ! I waited 5 more minutes.. I walked out of the salon. Then as soon as I entered my car -- there was a lady yelling at me to come back because they are ready now for me !" I told her " No , I'm leaving. I was so mad. They don't know how to treat custtomers. They don't know how to communicate and explain to me what is going on. I will not come back . It was an unfortunate experience. New or old customers should be treated right. And I forgot to mention -- I waited close to 20 minutes... communication is the key !! If somebody spoke to me at 940am that she is not done yet with setting up , I would understand. read more

I do recommend reservations because this is a busy place. Leo was very nice and very thorough with the pedicure. He was always checking in and making sure I was comfortable. I have had the worst experiences with nail salons recently, so when I was looking for a new spot I made sure to check the reviews first. Vince's Salon is probably the best experience I've had at a nail salon and I've been getting my nails/toes done for 15 years. I made an appointment for my bestie and I to get full sets with gel polish the day before thanksgiving. They accommodated us with no problem. Tom was my technician and he was great. He was very professional and helpful with matching my nails to the picture I showed him. He is a super funny guy and had me laughing the whole time. Absolutely horrible business and location. Have been a few times for hair cuts as well as the mani pedi services and the smell there is awful. The quality of hair cut is also terrible. I tried to call to go in to get it fixed because the neck line has baby hairs like 3 inches long that weren't cut (pictures hair line, small area he did cut, and then more baby hairs that were just ignored for some reason) and he he hair on the side is blended so poorly it looks like curtains. They refused to schedule another appointment or even to fix it because "I'm never happy" when this is the first time over 5+ visits that I have said anything to them about a complaint. Super unprofessional and the quality and service was never worth to begin with. read more

I have had so many traumatic haircuts that I tend to avoid salons but wow I can't say enough about Vince - he didn't make me feel awkward, he was so nice, listened to what I wanted and executed the cut BETTER than how I even imagined it could turn out. I think he took 10 years off my age today LOL I have never gone back to the same salon for a hair cut... until now. I plan on being a repeat customer for sure. I also had Natalie do my eyebrows because of how great the haircut made me feel. I left the salon feeling 1000% better than I walked in. Nice salon & spa - very clean and friendly. If you plan to try them out, definitely make a reservation - walking in didn't work out for me. I've gone there several times and Kayla was my technician and she's really nice; however, my nails/fill-in would barely last a week and that's never happened. I thought it odd, because I went from natural nails to getting the overlay done there. With the persistent issues, she recommended nail dipping, but I haven't done the research and wasn't sure I'd like it. I use a computer everyday and typing with nails lifting off isn't a good look. It became intolerable having to use nail glue to get through the day until my appointment. Getting nails done every 5 days may work for some, just not me. (wonk wonk) read more

I really like it here! I've been frequenting this salon for almost 2 years. Whenever I can't make it due to a scheduling conflict or my location, I'm always disappointed, especially when I have to go somewhere else (let's be honest, I'm never as satisfied with my nails when I have to go somewhere else). I almost always get my mani and pedi done by Shanti. She's my favorite! Not only does she do a great job on my basic pedi and gel manicure, she is extremely personable. Even if I miss a few weeks, when I return, she always remembers what we talked about the previous time and follows up about things. Also, when I'm getting my nails done, I always see Sophia's work, and she's also wonderful at what she does. Today I came to visit for my friend's wedding and Shanti was on vacation, but I had no concerns about the finished product. I really like my pedi. The woman who did it was very friendly. I found Vince when the place I had initially intended to go to was closed and I'm so glad I did. I arrived 35 minutes before they closed and they took me right away and did not rush through the process at all. They actually offered me several services and made it seem as if time was no issue. Helen did an amazing job, her foot and leg massages almost put me to sleep. She is very friendly and kind. The salon is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. They also have a section for hair services. The pedicure section is located in the back in little coves with 3 chairs on each side. The salon is really nice and clean. I was a walk in and they had a few people waiting already. So they asked me to come back which I definitely appreciated. Instead of trying to stack up on a wait list and over promising a start time. I got a fill for my nails. Nancy did a great job. And I'll definitely be back. I moved to BMore a few months ago and have been looking for a nice nail shop in my area. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the color/nail pallets that you look at to pick a color. That's the first thing I saw as a new customer and was shocked at how bad of shape the pallets were in. The polishes were chipped and falling off. Half the nails were broken off a few pallets. If one of the staff members happens to read this you all should work on replacing them. Also after polish and finish I noticed a little debris under my polish so there are small little bumps on a couple of my nails. But overall the service was good. I was visiting in the area and looked up nail salons on Yelp. This place was near by and had great rating so I took a chance. Well not only did they take me in as a walk-in the same lady Helen, was able to service me with a spa pedicure with included a hit stone massage, scrub and mud mask, plus a hot wax parifin on my feet.... AMAZING. She also gave me a manicure to soften my weathered hands. And to to it off she waxed my eyebrows and lip. This salon was very clean and they are even very cautious about social distancing and wearing masks and gloves to help with the current COVID-19 pandemic. Friendly staff.
