Stopped by the quaint place for valentines and we were blown away. The beautiful light fixtures created a beautiful and romantic ambience! The hibachi and sushi chef was creating some beautiful dishes on the table by the front. We were sat at a table that was set far enough from other guests for privacy and I really enjoyed that, especially on Valentine's Day. My husband ordered the hibachi steak and chicken and I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate. The meal included some incredible miso soup and clear soup which was so aesthetically pleasing I had to snap a picture. I also loved the green salad that was also included with the meal, the sauce was so delicious. We also had some of the best crab Rangoons I have ever tasted! Everything was plated to professional and I really think this place could have been a fine dining expensive hibachi grill. The prices were a steal for what was all provided. The waitress was so accommodating and knowledgeable, she also played some romantic music for us to set the mood for us and other guests. When we paid an adorable little girl came and gave us two roses to thank us for coming in. If I could rate this place a thousand out of ten I would! Came here at the recommendation of my cousin and was completely thrilled! We frequent sushi all the time but Hi Tokyo happens to be minutes from where we stay. So it's even more awesome to be able to get sushi in a pinch. The rolls were very reasonably priced, they had hibachi and the biggest fried shrimp you have ever seen in your life. It's clean and the atmosphere is pretty sweet. It's not a big restaurant by a long shot but so worth a stop in if you get a chance. The sushi was fresh and it came out quickly. The service was great. This place has very good Hibachi meals, the noodles dish I got was excellent and the sushi was very good too. I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could, it's very good just not blow your socks off amazing but very food and priced very reasonably priced. Food was horrible. I stopped in for lunch and got the 2 roll lunch and the bacon and scallop appitizer. The appitizer had no flavor and basically a soup. The spicy tuna and spicy salmon had no flavor from the fish and the rice was old and stale. I ate 4 pieces and could stand the taste and eat any more. I Will never eat here again. Everything here is pretty nice. I went here because the prices were really good and its a new spot in town. I ordered a few rolls and they were rolled very well, but not the best tasting. My husband and I tried this new restaurant just a few days after opening. It was delicious and super cheap! We started with crab Rangoon. 8 Rangoon for $5.25 and super tasty! I got a California roll ($4.50) and shrimp tempura roll ($5.50). The rolls were 5 pieces each and fresh! My husband got the chicken & steak fried rice ($11.50) and he scarfed it. He said it was amazing. We will definitely be going back and it will likely be our go to sushi place with it being so close to our house. Overall, really glad it's in the area. read more

Pretty good! Ordered on Uber Eats and the delivery was really fast! The sushi was still warm :-) I ordered the Infinity Roll (has the jalapeño on top) and the Rock and Roll (the fried roll). Both tasted great, but I enjoyed the Infinity more. Will have to try more rolls in the future! read more

Tell you what! I will not sugar coat this review with the usual blah blah words but rather, go straight to the point. NOT AT ALL IMPRESS! I entered the place with high expectations since the review rating is near 5 stars. Lunch time may not be the best ideal time to criticize the meal, atmosphere and staff, but my opinion is that lunch IS the best time cause they would show their worst during the least favored time. Staffing is small, literally and figuratively speaking, as she (waitress) stands at maybe 5' at best. However, she was pleasant and attentive but spoke broken English. Nothing new, right? I ordered the lunch bento chicken teriyaki and appetizer- tempura shrimp and veggie. Oh and the menu has increased in price as it has written in cost over the original price. Still, if the food is good then the price does not matter-my thought. Food came out reasonable speed as I was the only one there at opening. Soup that it comes with out first and was tasty but plain beef broth with mushrooms and onion flavor. Appetizer came out next and was quite tasty and fryer hot. I kid you not! This just came out of the deep fryer and, wow, was it fire hot. Dipping sauce had to cool it down to get a bite. I could not taste the shrimp with all the batter and texture was indicating over cook. The vegetables were better. Lunch special came out finally and was glad cause I was done with soup and appetizer. I have to say that presentation is nice and the separation of the food is a good idea. I don't like everything placed on a round place touching. Kinda ruins the individual flavor. Now as for the flavor, not the best or even close to it. OH AND DID YOU NOTICE THE HUGE ERROR IN THE ORDER. LOOK AT THE PHOTO AND SEE IF YOU CAN TELL. I will continue the review and mention it at the end if you can not see the mistake. The fried rice lack in flavor. The shrimp, again, over cooked. The sushi, which I believe is California roll, has a lot of room for improvements. Crab rangoon I did not even try due to stomach not feeling well. Water was good cause I needed a lot to wash out the after taste. Over all, I would not give this place a 1 star or a 5. There are some good that I favored such as tempura was hot, food was separated and service was decent. Middle star at ok would have to be from my opinion. Now remember that every critic is an OPINION and we all have them, correct? Just was we all have our certain taste in food and everyone's palate and taste buds differ. This is the best-wrapped sushi roll in the area. You will know immediately but the rice to filling ratio. Good sushi should NOT have a lot of rice on the outside of the roll. They called in about 5 minutes and said it was ready but in the meantime 5 people were in line. I would say it was satisfactory. I ordered a rainbow roll and a tuna roll and my food was ready fairly quickly and was quite yummy! They definitely do not skimp on the amount of fish in your rolls as some places do, you get your money's worth here! Prices are reasonable imo and I thought the wait staff did a great job as well.
