My cocktail was delicious and the Edamame came with a unique dipping sauce, which knocked it up a notch. The rolls were both FABULOUS and we especially liked the uniqueness of them. Took my step kid with me out to lunch after we went shopping downtown Belleville. I told her this place has sushi! Upon entrance, you wait to be seated. ( this was Lexi's and the quarter). One server was running the main side for dinning. She was very nice and apologetic about it. She even forewarned us the chef was by himself as well. Which for us was no problem. We were not in a huge rush. Step kid ordered the sweet n Spicey shrimp. To which she really enjoyed. We shared an order of Mac n cheese bites. The breading was good. Something about the noodles themselves was off. Not horrible. I ordered their patty melt with onion rings. I should have ordered the sandwich without onions. The breading was semi sweet. The onions didn't seem all the way cooked. The patty melt wasn't too bad. I'd still try the place again. They have wing specials on Thursdays and Sundays. First time here. Some things were good some things not good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is cute. It's clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The crab ragoon sushi was good and fried pork dumplings were tasty. Since it was our first time here I wanted to try the ramen and sample some different items from the menu. The ramen looked great but it had a chemical-type smell. I don't think it had any chemicals in it. I still ate some because I didn't want to be rude. I wonder if the detergent used to clean the plates is just a strong smell or if a part of that dish is cooked in plastic that burned. It was off for sure. The service was great. Atmosphere was great! We waited a while for water. (ISSUE #1) We had to remind our server we ordered drinks.. The waiter response "Oh did you". (ISSUE #2) We had to ask another server to actually order our food, because the first one didn't come back to the table to take our order! I went there for lunch with a good friend a few Fridays ago. The food was very good. We had 5 or six different sushi rolls that were all fresh and delicious. We had the jumbo chicken wing which was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend Our server was super sweet. Is this the best sushi place locally? Not really. Will it fill a craving? Sure! I ordered a crab Rangoon roll and it was good and basic, however, I had to 3 times for a side of spicy mayo over the course of 10-15 minutes. Keep in mind that children are allowed to sit at the bar so do not come here for an adult experience. I will say the staff but very kind and friendly. When I got home I noticed they had posted specials of the day on their Facebook right before I had eaten. These were not offered to me, wish they had been because they looked good! read more

It is okay. I really think they need to work through a few kinks. I have been here a couple of times now, and the nori in the rolls is too firm and the tuna in the jalapeño poppers was too well done. The spicy beef ramen was very tasty but overwhelmingly concentrated. I think it would be better if it was thinned out a little bit and REALLY HOT. I am going to swell up like a balloon from all soy and sodium. The ramen noodles were also very firm, luke-warm and clumped together. The beef was excellent! The boiled egg was too well done. I like a soft or medium boiled egg in ramen. For $18 it needs to be better and fill the bowl up more. The staff is friendly. I'll try again in a few months. read more
