Back dining room. Hibachi shrimp and scallop dinner
    Marisa B.

Visited this Japanese hibachi steak house for a birthday. The server was wonderful, very cheerful, polite and attentive. Which was awesome since the place was full and she had multiple tables to attend. The cook was entertaining but quiet, get in and get out sort of situation. The food was great. Everything came out well cooked and hot! I got the shrimp and scallop hibachi dinner and a Dr.Pepper. We received extra of the yummy sauce which is my favorite and the birthday girl got a complimentary piece of cake! It was a lovely experience and I would recommend it for your next dinner experience.

3/5 stars overall AKA I would not go back unless for some reason I had an insane craving for it or a friend really wanted to. Service; our waitress was nice, drinks were refilled, & everyone was friendly. Food; food was good! Our chef was nice, but not chatty. He lit one thing on fire, chopped up eggs and tossed them into people's mouths (wish it had been broccoli or something else). He did not however take out any sake, and I watched the other chefs interact much more with their tables & put a little bit more of a show on. Over all, our bill was $115 for 3 people. 2 alcoholic drinks, a soda, a sushi roll, and 3 entrees. I thought the price was okay for the value, but it's just not something I would suggest.

So it's basically a yearly event that I absolutely must have my birthday dinner at Shogun! The show is always worth the price of admission lol but oh my goodness...I've had some great hibachi in my life but something is definitely different and amazing about Shogun. Maybe it's the ambiance, maybe it's the fact that I always come in starving lol but either way, prepare to spend a little more than you think! Portions are amazing (I always have a few meals to take home) and again, everything about Shogun is worth it. I've been going here for many many years and out of all the hibachi spots in the area, this beats everyone! Hands UP and DOWN!

Shogun's has amazing foods and service. It services the best sushi around. The hibachi grill is a favorite but don't underestimate the dine in side.

We had a party of 8 Friday @ 6pm 3/31/23, so we had the a Teppan to just our party. The location was not nearly as busy as the last couple of times I've been here so no wait time. I noticed that a couple of reviews have indicated a decrease in quality/ service but we did not notice this. We all enjoyed our meals with a little chef entertainment. Pic included.

This place is sooo delicious! I love coming here for bday dinners or group dinners, hibachi is always a good time. I decided to go for a nice solo date because I had a big craving for sushi and I decided to treat myself. So first of all this place is ALWAYS packed! I sat at the bar so I wouldn't have to wait for a seat. The bar was close to the door so I was freezing cold because people were constantly in and out, I had to eat with my coat on because it was so cold. So definitely don't recommend eating at the bar in the winter time. The food was really good. For my cocktail I ordered a raspberry martini. I did not like it, it tasted like cough medicine. For my sushi I ordered the dragon roll, it was really good made to perfection and I also ordered a side of fried rice. They give you alot! Very fulfilling. I would definitely recommend this place for some good sushi!

My husband and I love this place so much. The food is on point. We've had their hibachi but most times we opt for the pad Thai noodles and share some sushi. Highly recommend them.

Fried rice, vegetables, filet, shrimp and Scallops.

Hibachi style meal. Quite entertaining and delicious. Very tentative server. Hibachi chef very engaging with the table. Food cooked in front of us to perfection! Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Will be visiting again!

I love the Hibachi Lunch special. A great show and great food for a reasonable price. Plus, you have leftovers for later.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly host who asked us to let them know once our entire party had arrived. About 15 minutes later, all nine of us were there, and we were promptly escorted to our table in the back of the restaurant. Our server greeted us right away, took our drink and appetizer orders, and returned within about five minutes with our drinks before taking our dinner orders. She asked several times whether anyone had food allergies or special dietary needs, which I really appreciated because it showed she wanted to make sure everything was prepared correctly. Our miso soup, salads, and appetizers all arrived within a few minutes of each other, and the timing throughout the meal was excellent. As soon as our dishes were cleared, our hibachi chef came to the table. He was funny, engaging, and put on a great show while preparing our meal. This was our grandson's first hibachi experience, and he was a little nervous when the chef created the giant fireballs, but once the cooking began, he really enjoyed watching the performance. Before cooking, the chef reviewed everyone's order and once again confirmed whether there were any food allergies, which was another nice touch. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the entire evening flowed smoothly from start to finish. Our bill included an automatic 18% gratuity, but we happily left an additional tip because both our server and chef provided outstanding service. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and a memorable way to celebrate our boys' birthdays. We all had a great time and look forward to coming back again.

The Chef was far more obnoxious than entertaining and it got even worse when he left our seating area and began cooking for a large group of 20 something's that were closer to his own age. I was expecting the classic Teppanyaki-style steakhouse with a humble but entertaining chef. What we got was an Asian kid being silly. I'm sure the casually dressed patrons loved the saki being squirted Tijuana style across the table into their mouths, that just wasn't what I was expecting by the decor and need for a reservation.

While i was debating a 2nd bite, i found a long hair. I stopped at 1 bite but really, for the best. The miso soup only tasted of salt and maybe Campbell's? Very mass produced, salty. I did take 2 "bites" of that. The hibachi looked good cooking but the fried rice was so oily. The vegetables very bland - maybe my tastebuds were dulled by the miso. The scallops were decent. The shrimp were fine. The filet was ok but I'm not really sure it was filet and not sirloin. I passed on the yum sauce- i don't find it yummy anywhere. I got ginger sauce which was decent. The Teriyaki was briwn syrup - so sugary sweet with little other taste. I took leftovers, mostly rice and steak, but just shared the steak with my dog and ditched the leftover greasy rice. Overall, just disappointing. My dining companions were nonplussed as well.

Ninja does have gluten-free soy sauce, but you'll likely not want much soy sauce because you won't want it hiding the great flavors of Ninja's sushi. Tonight we enjoyed a variety of rolls, most chef's choice: - Kimi roll - Philly roll - Sumo roll - Salmon avocado - Dynamite (no crunch) - two... not one, but two Golden Dragon rolls... with curved slices of mango on top and a fantastic mango sauce Our waitress was intent to find a gluten free sauce for us and provided a combo sauce - half pink / half darker color (unsure the actual flavor but it was good). Before tonight, we have known that Ninja has the cook-at-your-table hibachi grill but we've only ever enjoyed their sushi. Tonight... I ventured to their hot food. I didn't have much to eat earlier in the day, so I ordered a side of shrimp fried rice and I'm very glad I did... great flavors egg and onions, and fantastic rice unto itself. Thank you, Nan
