Without any previous warning, my battery was done. I contacted my insurance company or which I have full coverage, including comprehensive through Costco powered by American family. After doing a quick search, the representative stated there was no one in network. Oh, I forgot to mention, I only had 10% left on my battery for my phone, which I had mentioned to the representative. She stayed in I could call around and find somebody myself and pay for it myself and send the receipts and they would reimburse me. At which time I reminded her I only had 10% left on my phone. She then asked if I wanted her to close out the case then. I was flabbergasted to make a long story short, after my husband, and I reached out to several places locally, and we're having no luck, my husband called the insurance company back and spoke to a supervisor. They got Lily pad to agree to come help me. What a relief. I was so far away and yet Michael, who works for Lily pad was willing to come help me!!! As it turned out since fellow campers appeared on order elevated hill across from me and I got their attention and was helped. But the point is that Michael was in route to help from 2 hours away when 2 local companies declined ... not caring that I would be stranded up there!!! So I called Charlie from SWAT this morning to arrange him to pick up my '06 SCION XB and have it…read moredelivered to an auto shop to be repaired. He called me back about 15 minutes after our initial conversation and informed me that he was going to be tied up with an auto accident at 14th & Main Street, so he was going to get another coworker to handle my towing need. Long story short... the other person didn't show up. As I was growing impatient and calling around to other towing companies, Charlie showed up, lined up he truck(like a pro) and started hooking up my car, and apologized for the debacle regarding the tardiness of the other person not arriving to tow my car to the auto shop. He tried to comp me for the towing, but I insisted that he at least take a few bucks for lunch & his time. I thought that his actions were pretty were admirable, and next time I need a tow in the future, I will not hesitate to call him again. Props to Charlie for not leaving me hanging.
