I was at the hibachi factory on Thursday February the 6th. We ordered a combination chicken and steak meal as well as to egg rolls. Both Sterling and berry dove were absolutely amazing hosts and servers! They were working so hard and were very busy when we walked in it took a little while to get our order about 30 minutes or so. However they were very clear that it was going to be a while and they literally sent out about a hundred orders between walk-ins drive-thru and Call in's. I definitely think both of these men deserve a huge raise and I would come back anytime just because of the customer service! I really hope that this reaches the general and hopefully even the district manager! They were both absolutely 100% amazing at their job and it made such a difference in my day! Great customer service, terrible food. The rice was old, and even had a chunk that was rock hard and partly see through. The pork egg roll tasted like it was pig fat rather than meat. Placed order online. Called after what I thought was a reasonable time to check on ETA. The Meisah who answered the phone didn't have our order then when I provided her the order number she miraculously found and said it had left 15 minutes later (7:47pm and it was 7:32) than the actual time I was speaking with her. Then it was cold and incorrect. She hung up on me twice and when the driver called her and she handed the phone to me she answered with WHAT. Hibachi factory as a whole does not necessarily suck, but this location... I've almost always had a bad experience. The workers seem nice but the rice is dry af (sauce needed). I have found different kinds of hair in my food more than 4 times and had other suspicious run ins. I can only assume management isn't strict about cleanliness/ protocol (or the staff hate their jobs). I've gotten orders that were incorrect, incomplete or half/ not cooked. I've also recieved a few Franken-orders that looked like someone else had part of it, didn't want it, and the remains became part of my order. My parents and I ordered food there tonight, and I had possibly the most horrendous meal imaginable. My parents both ordered onions only; however, I unfortunately ordered broccoli and mushrooms in my dish. While their food was bland, mine had a very peculiar, detergent-like taste. I thought I was going insane, but I asked my parents to both try my dish, and they agreed it had a soapy flavor. I never write reviews, but this was so spectacularly bad, I felt it necessary. Our first order from Hibachi 2 days ago was such a bad meal that they were nice enough to credit us for the experience. Today was our second attempt and was unfortunately worse than the first. The previous meal was easy to order using the online app and both times the delivery was quick and friendly. Unfortunately the egg rolls had dried, dark burns on one side where they had been temperature held for too long, perhaps hours. The egg roll sauce was awesome and helped them go down. The chicken hibachi was dry and rubbery and they left off the mushrooms for some reason. The sirloin hibachi was much better, but an order of extra mushrooms was almost none. Maybe they were low on mushrooms and had no way to convey that on an online order, but it should have been addressed since it is a standard ingredient in the dish that we happened to be looking forward to. So we called a complaint and they credited the meals. Nice. Today we gave them the second chance they deserved. It was a second failure. Since the chicken was so unappetizing last time, we both got the sirloin with extra mushrooms. There were plenty this time! Unfortunately the egg rolls were, again, old. The flavor and texture of the meals were much different than last time. The sirloin was charred (well done) and leathery for some reason. The previous order it was more medium rare and was perfect. Definitely not consistent, so be aware. The sauces overall tasted smoky and bitter. Something is definitely is off as it was completely different this time and was so inedible we could not finish even a quarter of the dish. The order this time was done over the phone and the guy didn't have any order questions about rice preferences, or steak wellness, etc. He did argue a bit about our comped meals from before and I'd hate to think that our meals were sabotaged but that's where my head goes after the call and tasting the results. There aren't many Asian delivery options in the area and that's unfortunate because I strongly urge anyone considering trying this Hibachi to order a pizza instead. read more

The positives, first, I guess: - Very takeout friendly. There's nowhere to sit, really, and it's designed for take-out. Kind of reminded me of a Domino's or Papa John's except even those have more seats than this place. - Open kitchen. At least you can see the person who's preparing your food. - The cashier was nice and friendly, which is why I'm giving this place two stars instead of one. And now, on to why I'm not going back. - The atmosphere is perfectly dismal. It's the manager and cashier out in front, and the cook doing stuff in the back. No customers because they're all in and out so quickly. - Food is bland. I got the hibachi beef, which tasted dry -- no savoriness, a bit too salty. The sweet carrots were okay as well, but they had a hint of that sweet tea cloying taste. Lots of rice in the container, as other reviewers have said. Thankfully, they provided ample sauce which I used all but one container of. Not a fan of this place, and I don't think I'm coming back. Disappointing. The food is good for a quick bite of hibachi on the go, but customer service isn't great. I ordered steak and shrimp with all of veggies and mushrooms with fried rice. When I was on the phone, placing my order, the guy taking my order asked if I wanted chicken and shrimp, so I corrected him and said steak and shrimp. I pick up my food and take it home and I end getting chicken. The chicken there isn't great either so steak and shrimp is about the only way to go. This is the third time in a row that they messed up my order. Please get it together. read more

Called to check on our order, the delivery driver had left the food on the front porch after lightly knocking and not getting an answer. It was my last day of the school year, a very unsettling end as a teacher for 16 years and I didn't want to cook. I started to order online because I keep getting weekly emails about their free delivery promotions. I had filled out the order then used my points from my purchases to get a free side of zucchini and onions because they barely give you any. Really my partner wanted it more than me. Then the ability to enter the free delivery code when away. I submitted my order with a 25% tip, but called to tell them I couldn't put in the free delivery code. They said I couldn't used points and a promo. Ummm, wait. One is a promo and one is earned because of all the money I've spent there. Why can't I use both? They aren't two promos? Then I was just hung up on with no goodbye or anything. The order for two people was $50. Just two combos of two meats, a free side, a $2.50 delivery and a side. I'm a teacher about to start two summer jobs. That's half the cost of a week of groceries and close to the cost of a great dinner from a real hibachi restaurant like Wasabis. I called and canceled everything I ordered and just bought my guy dinner. They couldn't understand my speech and were very demeaning. They kept transferring me to another person. Fed up, I gave the phone to my boyfriend. He said they figured out it was their phone issue, not mine. We ordered late and I said many times not to ring or knock. It's even printed on the receipt. Please don't wake the kids. The dogs will go crazy because no one ever comes, and we want to relax because we got 3 hours of sleep. What do they do..., knock an insane amount of times. I have never in my 3) years in this planet bothered you give a review. I've had awful service, but been patient because I had a third job in restaurants while completing my masters so I have great patience. I logged on to yelp for the first time to tell people you really messed up. We are trying hard to support local due to this pandemic, but you will never have me as a customer again. I'm siting my receipt with my phone number blocked out to show I said do not knock and disrupt the whole house. 12am and the household is still up. Worst Hibachi (if you can call it that) Ever!! I ordered the sirloin and scallop combo. The sirloin is a $1.50 up-charge from the mystery meat beef and scallop combo, by the way. Anyway, it SUCKED!!! the sirloin is tough and chewy (I wonder what the mystery meat would have been like) and the scallops were tiny, hard and fishy tasting bay scallops, as opposed to the sea scallops I've gotten at every other hibachi place I've ever ordered from. Just got an order, the wrong order. The sauce bit was already opened...someone altered it. Be very aware, or adventurous, here.

First off, I haven't been here in quite a few years, six or more, but on my way to dinner my plans fell through and I didn't want to just grab fast food so I headed over here. Customer service wise, they were great. It didn't take more than 10 minutes despite a high volume of orders, the cashier was nice, and no one working there looked scuzzy and unkempt so I had high hopes. I ordered the large sirloin with carrots, onions, and mushrooms. It came to over $14 dollars after tax. Wait, what? The menu says a sirloin is roughly 10.99 or so, but apparently, I can only have onions or carrots, wanting both is extra. And not an acceptable .50 for what I remember as at most 10 pieces of 1/8 inch thick sweet carrots, but somewhere around $2.00 it appears. This place was overpriced years ago, and now they have jacked prices up even more and things that were included previously are now being charged extra. So aside from great customer service and terrible pricing, how was the food? That's really what matters, right? Imagine if a premium dog food provider started included chunks of steak in their cans and that is pretty much what you get. My standards for a good steak may be high, but for this kind of stuff I don't usually have that high of standards. I can eat the steak at Taco Bell for instance and have no problems. I generally don't opt for the steak but when I do get it I am at least more pleased with it than upset. Long story short, the proportion of steak to mushroom was insane, far more mushrooms than steak, they forgot to include the onions, the rice was about as run of the mill as you can get and was easily five times the amount of the steak/mushrooms, and the steak was terrible. I have never been all that pleased with Hibachi Factory, but I was hoping after five plus years things would get better, not get worse with higher pricing. To put it nicely, I had explosive problems from my lower extremities within the hour after eating. Definitely will not be making this an option for dining anymore, never again. read more

The chicken is rubbery, rice is under cooked, and last time they completely forgot my veggies (which are included on all orders). Also, I typically request extra teriyaki which has lately resulted in less than normal teriyaki. Will not be ordering again. read more

We have been routine customers. I was reluctant to order within an hour of the store closing but the system took the order at 9:22pm and we assumed we would receive the food. My phone did not ring and there are no voicemails and we find out over an hour later that my order was not processed because they "decided to shut down the grill". Beyond unprofessional to then lie about calling me - technology too advanced to say we tried. Most businesses would offer some type of coupon or complimentary meal - but basically an "oh well" from this establishment. Very disappointed and now hungry to boot.
