Even with a last-minute reservation, the staff was extremely accommodating and made sure everything flowed smoothly for our group. One of the standout features is the hidden speakeasy tucked behind the double gray doors; such a beautiful, elegant space. The ambiance alone is worth the visit, and the drinks were just as impressive, crafted perfectly and definitely memorable. As for the food... absolutely incredible. I had the Casanova roll, the Linguinstuno roll, and the miso steak, and every single dish was flavorful and well-executed. I also tried the sea bass, and it was hands down one of the best things I tasted that night. Overall, if you're looking for a nice, upscale dining experience with great service, amazing food, and top-tier drinks, 8 Sushi is definitely the place to go.

We ordered: Exceptional (A+): Tuna Crisps Excellent/Very Good (A/A-): A5 Wagyu Sando, The Monroe Tuna (crispy rice), Burlesque Roll, Bluefin Maguro (nigiri), Seared Scallops Good (B+/B): Pork Ramen OK (B-/C+/C): Yuzu Cheesecake, Orange is the New Black (salmon) So most dishes we sampled were excellent. Their tuna crisps are to die for. But their acclaimed and award-winning pork ramen was merely decent. Before tipping, we paid $215 for a two-person meal (no alcohol, only water, 8 small dishes, and 1 dessert). If they had charged us at least 20% less, this would have been a 5-star meal.

They do have a credit card minimum and they don't take cash so you'll have to get more a little after dinner dessert here But they have shiso leaves, sashimi, ice cream, snacks and toys It's a good variety for the size and a nice stop before or after dinner at one of the restaurants above! Prices here are pretty reasonable, so I'd recommend trying the place at least once! I really enjoyed the "kiss of Juju" roll here; the strawberries really added something to the flavor profile and made it really refreshing. We had crispy rice, agedashi tofu, pork gyoza, fried oysters, and the yellow jacket and kiss of juju roll, and it was all good. We finished off with the green tea ice cream at the end.

It's hidden inside a building, with plenty of on-site parking, where the entrance is next to the little gym. However, it's WAY worth the effort to find its location- hidden inside a nondescript building- follow the signs to the lucky cat above the door. The restaurant is beautiful inside with both a New York vibe with personal flare - with many anime treasures. Staff is friendly, humble, attentive and knowledgeable. The food.- mini masterpieces full of freshness and flavor - from the garlic hints on the edamame- to the chicken - in every form - be in the bone broth in the ramen. Exquisite!! The fried rice has little tufts of crunchy onion bits scattered throughout. You can watch the chefs or just bask beer the stars. Come explore your tastebuds like never before - you won't be disappointed! Oh...and the inside is SUPER cool. Tons of references of anime's with a quaint "sitting outside in a patio"..

I recently…read moretried Okiboru in Sandy Springs and was blown away with the flavors of the Tonkotsu ramen, bao buns, all the apps. It was perfection. i decided to try Enso because it's closer and wanted to compare especially with the stellar reviews. I ordered the Tonkotsu (of course), 3 different skewers, baos and a curry entre. The baos had incredible flavor but the texture of the pork was a little tough and chewy. All the skewers were just okay and small for the price. The garnish under the skewers was really good and flavorful. Now, on to my main thing.... The Tonkotsu. My whole purpose for coming here. Disgusting!!! The broth tasted like dirty sink water with no salt or flavor!! The pork was flavorless and not tender. The fixings were all blah. Such a shame because it was visually pretty. I was so disappointed. The waiter asked me how was it. I told her it was very lackluster. She didn't try to do anything to satisfy the customer. I kept it cute and didn't make a fuss because I knew Id never return. All the food looked better than it tasted besides the curry rice bowl which was good. If you want authentic, bold Japanese ramen and dishes (40% cheaper too) , take the trip to Okiboru. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because it was very clean with a nice bathroom. The food is easily 2 starts. (Lunch Menu. Not dinner).

My husband and I had dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and boy were we in for a surprise. First and foremost, they sent us parking and driving instructions prior to our visit. Someone from the restaurant greeted us where the parking area is and walked us to the restaurant. I don't want to spoil much of the surprise but service here is impeccable. It seats maybe 10 and we received the best service imaginable. I love the little touches like putting a hook to the seat so you can hang your purse and providing a menu of the different food items we were eating with a "passport" stamp of when the food we were consuming arrived! But now onto the food... Again, I don't want to ruin the experience for everyone but I would like to point out that their dishes are very good and so fresh. We've tried other omakase restaurants and this place doesn't just serve sushi rolls, the food their serve takes on a journey or the different specialties Japan has to offer. Our personal favorites were the sawara from the zen garden course (the pickled ramp was such an interesting and inventive addition that made this way better), nama uni from the gai course (some quality uni that I would be dreaming about for days to come) and Chu-toro from the nigiri course (it was the right amount of fat for my personal preference). The Yaki sakana and sukiyaki courses were my favorites because of all the flavors these courses delivered. This was definitely on a pricier end for $255 per person, plus drinks - their cocktails were $20 each, they have a great selection of sake/wine as well. For me, this was a 4.5/5 stars as some of the food items were a miss, like all the seaweeds and octopus were meh. I also thought the uni rice was too sour for my taste. Other than that, everything was exceptional.

The decor and atmosphere really make you feel like you've been transported to a lively izakaya in Japan--it's the perfect spot for sharing a wide variety of small plates. The Tapas & Kitchen: * Ankimo (Monkfish Liver): This was a standout. It was prepared perfectly--rich, velvety, and a great start to the meal. * Grilled Highlights: The kitchen really excels with the grill. The chicken skin is crispy and decadent, and the chicken liver is another major hit--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. * Seafood Favorites: My wife absolutely loved the steamed clams, and the grilled oysters were a hit as well. The octopus salad was also very fresh and well-balanced. The Sushi Bar: * Fish Selection: The quality and variety here are impressive. We ordered a mix of rolls and nigiri, including scallop, sweet shrimp, and tuna maki. * Quality: Every piece of fish was notably fresh. The only minor critique was the sushi rice--it was a bit dry for my personal taste, but the quality of the seafood more than made up for it. * Snail (Tsubugai): It's great to see more unique options like snail on the menu; it's a nice touch for those who appreciate traditional Japanese variety. The Experience: The menu is huge and well-rounded, offering something for everyone. Despite being our first time, the service was efficient and the pricing felt very fair for the quality and portion sizes provided.
